I plan on revenge attacking all that I can with at least something. As well I'll be hitting random at the beginning of my art streams when I can. Find some new pretties to draw. I don't actually seek friends to attack hardly ever as I use this month as a chance to find new characters and fun designs that aren't in our community here.

What is artfight? In essence its a massive excuse for art trades! Get attacked, attack others, and see how many points you can make for your team. And share the love to other creators in the process. This will be my 4th year participating and its always a blast~

Howdy! I'm still on break but I've been chipping at my price update for a bit now. And I'm happy to announce that its all done and updated! Even went and messed with the examples on the site too. Go give em a look, maybe I used your character as one of the price examples ;)

Couple of things I want to note as changes:
- Prices pretty much only went up. In fact I'm considering making a really low tier of sketchy fullbodies depending on interest/effort it takes.
- Removed one of the specials. I legitimately cannot remember which one it was. It was that unused.
- Added a charge for NSFW versions of the art. This is to facilitate my time being spent off-stream. It doesn't have to be an alt it could just be a nude pinup.
- TOS is slightly updated to reflect the NSFW arts. Namely, nothing pornographic or whatnot. I can choose not to take on the thing if I wish. Etc~
- TOS is changed to reflect the payment system. Instead of it being 1hr from when I respond to you, its 1hr from when I send the invoice. Less stress that people have to claim a slot just by asking about something. Plus more freeing for those that aren't in the same timezone as me.

Now for the second half of that long journal title. My process of finding my commission prices is exhaustive but frankly its a fantastic method. Because it forces you to recognize what you should charge if you're going to be doing this full time, and how many hours you would need to work. But, as mentioned, it takes for fucking ever. Weeks of collecting data and crunching numbers on a spreadsheet in my offtime. After chatting with some other artists, I realized that its just too much for most folks. Especially newer artists who frankly need to start off charging what they need to survive. So I made a thing.

Its not perfect, but its a way to get your prices off on the right foot. Follow the instructions and see what you should charge for each of your pieces. Not what you like? Feel like its too high? Tough love. If you need to charge $20/hr to make a comfortable living then so be it. Find a way to lower how long it takes you to make a piece, add more time to your daily schedule, or suck it up and charge more >:V

Some of you are aware that I'm working on my price update. Its a huge process, but thankfully I'm on the final step. Unfortunately that final step is the longest and I'm missing some information to fill it in properly (without guessing, that is.) This week I'm needing to time myself working on various art styles and quality tiers that I've not done in some time. Usually my specials last 2 weeks, but this price update will be done before the second week is out. So this will be going for only this week

Howdy! Heads up important journal on my commission pricing. Every 6 months I update them to maintain a proper living wage compared to my quality, time to complete, and average available work time each week. As well every couple of years I go in depth and do major work, which is this one.

The commissions this week will feature a special on the pricing for some items I've not drawn in a bit so its a good opportunity to snag a thing before they all update! But come the 1st the new prices will be locked in. So if you've been on the fence about anything I highly suggest getting in touch when I open commissions to get something. It looks like prices may be going up a little.

hey look we hit a follower milestone! It was a bit ago, actually. But only now do I have time to set aside and do the freebie stream :D

Tuesday, the 18th. Starting at Noon Central Time. Be there or be square! Actually no, there won't be any squaring happening... Anyways this will be the first freebie stream with the minimum 4hr stream time, and with Wynn2.0. I suspect there will be some technical problem somewhere somehow. But we'll burn that bridge when we get to it.

So how does it work? Quick summary;
- We open a raffle after every piece of art. You must be following in order to win!
- Whoever we pull has 90 seconds to from when they're permitted to post their ref. Note, NOT from when they win. From when they're permitted in chat. Wait for a mod!
- HAVE YOUR REF READY. You've had all stream to figure out which character and expression you want. Hell, you have days to do so. If you start umming and uhhing or asking if I'm able to draw "x" or "y" thing after you've won, I'm pulling another person. Don't waste everyone's time like that please. Its frankly insulting to have people win and go "I wasn't expecting to win!" so we're not dealing with it anymore. Ask before you win~
- SFW refs are hugely preferred. NSFW is allowed but only if you warn us first. This is only a headshot so find an image that works for that!
- After I have your ref, I'll draw a headshot sketchy lines piece of them!
- If you're a regular (20+ hours) you get your headshot colored too!

Additional note! We alternate between raffles that allow everyone to enter, and raffles that are limited to only regulars. This is an event to support people that helped us reach the goal <3

Been keeping an eye on my watchers lately. I'm not someone who bends backwards over the followercount other then just general growth of the content I make. But 2000 watchers? Hot damn! This week we have a unique gamedesign stream, the last week for IRAM, and of course commissions are opening.

Going in order. On Saturday the 27th we're doing a rather unique stream. I have had a pet project boardgame on the backburner for years. An asymmetric dungeon-delver inspired by the Hand of Fate videogame. Its actually much farther along in development then I thought, and it could actually be played in the stream if we polish off some stuff. It would be VERY beta. But it could be played! If you look at the prices you will see a new option in the "specials" section you will find that I have fullbody digital paintings now too~ They're single-handedly the most expensive option in the entire page unless you go hard on a character reference. But they're quality enough to get printed and you can frame it to hang on your wall. Plus like, digital painting quality art piece.

Lastly I wanted to say that the Tropical Flycatchers are up and going as a proper species. I even had the original designer of Fionea favorite all three of the refs, so I got that going for me! However I wanted to point out that the "custom adopt" price in the specials section purposefully excludes Tropical Flycatchers as they're very labor intensive to make. That special is intended to let people commission any of my species for a bit less then it would otherwise cost. However Flycatchers are inherently complex and time consuming meaning I can't offer that for them. Really sorry about it, but they're subject to normal reference prices.

Howdy! We hit another Twitch milestone last week and as such we're going to do a freebie stream to celebrate the growth. I do these every 10% new followers and while that number is getting larger every time we seem to get them faster. Its wild. Anyways, on to how this works~
