Nothing else to really say. xD Been an awesome birthday so far! Didn't get much, but it's just been fun!

Think I owe you guys an update!

So I'm drawing again, though not a lot. I've decided to draw a little bit every night to try and get myself going again. I really do enjoy it, but I needed to set aside some time to actually DO it, which I have been. So, yay.

Been doing some concepts for a comic that I may try and do. But then again, probably not. I'd like to though, 'cause I think it'd be fun and it'd kinda-sorta force me to grow as an artist and maybe draw a little faster.

But like I said, I dunno if it'll happen. I don't even have a script written out, though i have the first page-ish written out in my head, heh.

I am going to try and at least do an unrelated comic page I've had in my head for a while with the characters I'm concepting. Wish me luck!

So I just thought i'd let you guys know that more art is coming, and some might be in color! *gasp*

I've been super busy with work, and am currently doing some resumes for a couple of new potential ones. :) I have some old drawings I'm going to upload, and I'm going to try a new coloring techinque after I post the sketches. IT's a LITTLE half-arse but hey, better than no color right?

So I bought Bad COmpany 2 for the xbox360 'cause I got a new TV and wanted to play a Battlefield game again...

BIG MISTAKE. I forgot how much a blow chunks at console first person shooters. I was shocked.

Admittingly I think I'm kind of overly-twitchy for most first person shooters anyway, I wasnt very good at Team FOrtress 2 which i had for the PC, but I was certainly better than I am at BF:BC2. XD

I may rebuy it for the PC on steam soon...not totally sure. We'll see~

I do have Red Dead Redemption for the xbox though! Send me a note if you want to add me as a friend on there and I'll give you my name. If anyone plays on a fun TF2 server, let me know as well. Since CC2isCool fell off the face of the earth, I havent been sure where to play.

Hey guys! This promise is coompletely empty because I've said this before, but I've got of gotten reinvigorated with drawing, so I'm planning on uploading some old drawings I did a while back and hopefully draw some more. I dont think most of them will becolored though.

Okay, sorry I'm so in and out with art. I go through phases where I'm afraid to draw furry art (though still okay with adding more to my favorite list, dont ask I dont know). But I'm getting the urge to post again. Hopefully I can also be unlazy enough to actuallys can some backlog art. :P I've had a cute couple I started drawing back in may that I'd like to post more art of.

I'm also thinking of changing my fursona to a polar bear. Again, I dunno why, I just need a change and I have a fascination of polar bear furries all of a sudden. XD But we shall see. I'm currently failing at drawing a polar bear head so yeah, we'll see.

Well I havent had one yet but DAMN IS IT DIFFICULT. Almost "I wish I hadn't gotten this" difficult, I didnt even experience that with my tablet!

It's actually shown me how un-tense I've become. XD 'cause my muscles are really tight after messing with it all day. After repeated attempts I have not been able to make a drawing like this one:

I dunno how I did that one really. XD Might be that it's a drawing suited to what Colors! is meant for. I dunno. Maybe it'll be like my tablet where I kinda suck with it now but I'll pick it up in a while and will suddenly be able to use it how I want.

Yup! I'm officially a college graduate. :]

I must say it feels about 12190210941x more awkward writing fanfiction than drawing it..

Maybe I'll change the Argonians to general-lizardfolk or something. *shrug* I still really want to write the story though, so I'll try! I even plan to format it correctly so you people can read it easily. ;)

Phew! Last semester of college is ending tomorrow with the final essay test of four given by one of my more insane professors. Crazy SOB lol.

But I've had a few pictures I wanna draw so Is hould be able to draw them in the next few days. :] Keep your eyes peeled. Gonna try and finish a series that has been sitting in my gallery unfinished.

I'm tentatively thinking of doing a story for the argonian thing i started, dunno for sure though.

I think I'll be returning to posting things on FA soon, as my tablet skills suddenly seemed to have jumped for no explainable reason (I havent used it since the last drawing i posted here..). I randomly decided to use it the other day.

As for why I havent even posted sketches, well, I kind of stopped drawing furries after I was told by a few people that my books wont sell if they arent human (which after much deliberation may be kinda true) and i primarily draw from my stories, so, wasnt much to post here. I also have a fear of posting stuff related to my stories, hence most of that artwork is gone now. It'd be a link to my real life that may be too clear if my books get published and get popular.

But yeah, I've realized that I still enjoy drawing anthromorphs more than humans (they're so booorrriiingg). I resketched a new fursona for myself on a peice of paper earlier today that I really liked, so I'm gonna update my shark to him once I get a new sketch book to draw him in/draw him on my tablet.

I think I may take a page from  Dharken and create a few characters to use in drawings for this site and for stuff that my story characters wouldn't fit in.

I've been kind of busy/sickly/playing too many video games for the past couple weeks, so I havent had much time to draw anything for FA.

I think "Our First" will be extended to 6 pages, and I saw an interesting style of digital art that I may experiment with for the next drawing. I cant give an ETA but I havent abandoned it, and I do want to finish it.

Well I've got part 3 of "Our First" Sketched and colored. All it needs is shading now.

It still seems very subpar to my usual drawing ability though. It's a LOT better than the one I posted in my scraps earlier, but the line art is VERY thick, and i don't think people will like that. My hand is very un-steady when it doesn't have a proper anchor, like a pencil touching a piece of paper, so on slick plastic I have a hard time keeping consistent pressure. Is there a way to make Photoshop stop reading pressure sensitivity? I haven't really figured out a way to make it thinner and still look nice, as it more easy to see the spots where I applied too much pressure. Though since my hand still shakes I doubt I'll be able to create very straight lines...Well, maybe some day but not any time in the immediate future. :P


Oh well, hopefully people will kind of like the drawing and dont mind me experimenting with my tablet on "serious" drawings.

Cheesus, this thing is hard! It's some Half Life 2 Full Conversion mod that appeared on steam, and after seeing some people playing it I downloaded it to give it a try.

Maybe I'm not giving it enough time, and I will try it again some time, but damn is it hard! No aiming recital, no clear indication your hitting people, wonky hit detection (okay this last part may be the fact I suck at this game) makes it very hard. ;_;

I give it points for FEELING awesome. You WANT to play it. It's just..really flippin hard.

Man what's with all the scout hating? I hear it a lot, and today someone said "I'd almost be happy with this set up if the scout was anything else." Maybe there is osmething I dont understand but I seem to be really good as a scout. I'm pretty good as a demo man too but I seem to get the most kills as a scout. So why all the scout hate? Do most poeple suck as one?

It was on a map where the team I was on was capturing points too. It was very strange.

Insomnia sucks when you have classes early(ish) in the morning.

Regardless of my sleep deprevation though, I wanna thank everyone who faved my last drawing Picture At the Beach.. My confidence kind of dipped on that one because it seemed like such an easy thing to draw (which is in part why I doodled it) but I could NOT GET IT RIGHT.

But people faving it restored it for the most part. Not to say my artistic confidence is dependent on +favs, but I felt really disappointed in that drawing and I'm glad people actually liked it enough to fav it. Thta means it cant have been too bad. ;) Aah the mind of a grumpy shark makes everything negative I guess.

Vash and i came up with the idea and he created the steam group. It'll let us have a chat room we can use to talk about warhammer. It's not as ideal as a guild, but it's something!

I decided to buy a blue lion thing from Luskwood so I wouldn't be embarrassed walking around in that POS white wolf avatar I found for free way back when I first created my character. It's a lot more fun exploring now, hehe. I'm Zakavar Gustav if anyone cares. <:)

Good news is my scanner is working again! I may have two new drawings up soon, so keep your eyes open.

For some really strange reason the power cable on my computer shorted. I intially thought it was the power supply but for some reason I decided to switch the power cable of my printer and PC (which are the same) and my computer magically booted up. Unfortunately that means no printer and no scanner for at least tonight. :< I should have a new cable tomorrow though.

BUT YEAH, I'm SOOOOOOO HAPPY WITH IT. For multiple reasons:

1. After looking through my old pictures i was reminded of how I used to do line art. That really helped the picture out, the line art looked AMAZING and if I dont have the patience to color something, I definitely feel like I can post the line art.

2. It was really liberating to finally draw Zakavar having sex with someone. Today I felt really happy with myself having finally embraced my homosexuality, and this picture is kind of my official expression of myself. I know I've submitted this kind of thing before, though most of it got deleted, but this one feels different for me since it's my avatar, not some random characters that I can convince myself aren't associated with me personally.

3. I'm just really proud of the picture as a whole. I spent all evening on it, and i think it really came together just as I had it in my head. I'mg lad I was able to shade it well. ^^;

I think I might actually stay a shark. Maybe I'll use this guy for something else but for now I think I'll keep with my sharky-self.

I learned today that apparantly some girl thinks I'm really cute, which is odd timing because just a day or two before I came out of the closet (again). Well, sorta out of the closet, not like i announced it to the world or anything. But still, WEIRD TIMING.

...I wanna say I'm sorry. :/ I know some of you tried to talk to me on aim a while ago when furaffinity was new, but I was really nervous about my sexuality and being a furry, and as pressure kind of got on me I started pushing people away, and I deeply regret that. I know it's kind odd that I didn't want to be a furry etc, and still attend this site, but I was trying to be a closet fur because I was afraid all this might come back to haunt me later due to various warnings from people about internet usage I took too seriously...

Anyway, I'm trying to force myself to be comfortable with myself, so if you've previously tried to be friends with me and still wish to be, I'm going to be getting a new SN for AIM and sign back onto my yahoo thing once I find my password. I'll post a new journal once I get the AIM sn. I'll probably use my old one (Zakavar) starting tomorrow as well, but I have to keep that one on privacy due to a few old friends still probably having it on their buddy list that I dont wanna associate with anymore (they're part of the above reasons for crawling back int he closet furry-wise).

Again, I'm really very sorry to all the people I kind of pushed away. Hopefully if I made any of you sad or mad you'll be able to forgive me. :[;
