Totally going!
President-Elect Trump
General | Posted 9 years agoHonestly, not shocked, not at all. I called it from a mile away.
Frankly, both him and Hillary can fuck-off, but our "Perfect"
system dictates that we vote-in some chump for office.
America, please take serious note: please reform whatever
proccess neccesary so the system can't be so easily "Bought."
If we as a people are majority disatisfied with what our
not-so-brilliant political parties has to shove down our throats,
we can push for new candidates. I mean, this is insanity.
Meh. Whatever. We reap what we sow. Ignorance pays well.
Good job, America.

X-mas, Coming New Year, And Other Stuff...
General | Posted 10 years ago
Better late than never, but Merry Christmas, to those that follow that holiday. Mine was spent home alone, drinking booze. Pretty much the best I can do under present living arrangements. Can't complain too much, I guess. Have a roof over my head, somewhat functional job, heat, power, internet, food and water. Yeah - yeah, things could always be worse, but the feeling of loneliness can certainly make it feel that much worse. Anyways, hopefully everyone is out spending time with family and/or friends, and folks got some nice gifts. Sucks that I have to work tonight.
Decided that once New Years rolls in, going to stick with a soup diet and get back to the gym, regardless if I hate myself or not. Lately, I've been having problems with my right heel and lower back, might have pulled something, but every night after work my right heel tightens-up and hurts like a motherfucker. Will probably end-up buying some supports very soon, hopefully that'll help. Far as my back, been taking it easy, slowing down a bit at work so I don't aggravate my injury. Naturally, I'm going to stay away from high sodium sources for said diet, but if I can restrict myself to that, it'll be far better slate than I have been eating. Yay, go me for doing something healthy for myself.
Alright, so my new Fursona is somewhat ready to go. By the New Year, I'll be making a full migration over. No, this doesn't mean Zander will cease being used, but just don't count on much (if any) activity. Seriously, as I had previously stated, I need to break-away from this toon. Unfortunately, I've grown far too distant with my beloved puma, and many of my interests - my feelings and ideals, have since changed then. Need to start anew, pursue other things in life, and try to be more comfortable with what life throws at me. I might have artwork done and posted now-and-then, perhaps role-play on-and-off, and such, but that'll virtually be it. Existing work will stay and answer PM's, may be.
Zander has been a great identity for me. He's not just a made-up character, but a very close friend. I relish all the memories that I got spent with him, over these many long years, since I became of age. The friends I had met, the places I explored, the events I roamed in, and the few relationships that came and went. Believe me, this is a difficult decision to make, but in the end, I think it would be best to retire Zander.
I do want to thank all those that watched me, to those that favored the various artwork I commissioned over time, and to the small circle of friends that continue to put-up with my bullshit. I don't know how this account accumulate 30k views, but I give my thanks for the support.
It's been a blast, for sure. Sadly, it's time for this cat to move on...
Happy Thanksgiving
General | Posted 10 years agoVery proud of making a nicely roasted 15 lbs bird, came out heavenly.
- 15 lbs Butterball turkey.
--- brine for 30 hrs, included allspice, whole peppercorn, candied ginger and dark brown sugar.
--- baked 30 mins at 500 F°, then gave it a tin foil hat, then slow roasted for 2.25 hrs at 350 F°.
- 2 cans crispy'n'sweet corn.
--- Rustic seasoned it himself, at that point it was more like fire-roasted style.
- 2 cans cut green beans.
--- blanched with salt, pepper, and butter, then drained before serving.
- 2 cans cut carrots.
--- used dark brown sugar to make a soft caramel for it.
- 2 boxes Kraft turkey stuffing.
- 1 container of dinner rolls.
--- very lightly baked, before serving.
- 1 can jellied cranberry sauce.
--- chilled, before serving.
- 2 packets of baby red mashed potatoes.
- 1 apple-crumb pie, made from scratch.
--- Din used fresh, diced apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar for it.
- 1 carton of Friendly's vanilla bean ice cream.
- 1 tub of cool whip.
That's pretty much the spread. Turkey came out fantastic, so did Din's pie, Rustic's corn and carrots.
So. Much. Food. So. Much. Clean-up. ~_~

General | Posted 10 years ago...Stressing Out...
General | Posted 10 years agoWhen you have stress hitting you at what seems every aspect of your life, you can't feel but some measure of discomfort.
Friends. Family. Job. This community. Roommates. Just seems like everything is trying to weigh me down.
I haven't been able to get a good night's sleep in over a week now ... my body is becoming more noticeably sore and worn-out.
To be completely honest, I don't know how much more I can take of this.
Bah. What am I saying, not like anybody gives a damn what I say.
Sorry, just felt like blowing-up at myself, here. v_v.

Furpocalypse 2015 Summary
General | Posted 10 years ago
Successful. A blast. Frustrating. Somewhat disappointing.
Those are the best four best descriptors for this Freakshow. Why the last two you ask? I'll give a brief run-down, later.
At Closing Ceremonies, we stood at 1,400+ attendees this year. We raised over $5,000 for the War Dogs Foundation.
Fire-alarms were non-present, thank goodness. General attitude, overall, seemed positive from con-goers. Judging from what I've questioned some random furs, people enjoyed their festivities. These are only the good aspects, however. Unfortunately, there were some complications that arose before and during convention operation. Unable to divulge specific information, but some of the more nastier difficulties occurred behind closed doors, sort of speak. What's really frustrating about that, is some of those heartaches could have been prevented. We had trouble with our software, which caused congestion in Registration, albeit much worse for Checkout for Dealers Room. Also heard there was other mishaps originating from hotel staff, as well as our own. Granted, there are worse things that could have happened.
Simply put, there are many aspects we need to learn and improve upon. We strive and sweat hard to provide con-goers the best possible experience at Furpocalypse, despite the occasional bumps in the road. We care about your safety, above all else, and try to provide a quality source of entertainment. It's hard work, believe me, but it makes big difference.
That's going to be all for now, poom needs to unwind. X3
Seriously though, hope everybody had a fantastic time, and hope you return with us next year!
I have a Telegram, you guys. :3

I'm very much liking how streamline this media program is.

Microsoft/Skype, Getting Really Tired of Your S***
General | Posted 10 years ago
Between the random bugginess, launch mishaps, and even not taking my own password... might be time to switch.
I've been using Skype for awhile now, way before Microderp bought them. Since the transition, more and more
problems have been created than addressed, the Ads are in very distasteful locations, and the constant U.I. changes
are becoming increasingly difficult to deal with. Seriously, why is it that everything Microsoft touches, turns to shit?
Ugh ... I just ... I can't. I can see why Twitter and Telegram have gotten so popular, they actually care about their media.
Very soon, I'm breaking away from Skype, because this relationship has turned into a rotten apple.
