Hello everyone.

It has been a while. I want to start things off by saying thank you to all my friends and others who have supported me and my work. I joined the fandom back in 2016 where I found the community and began doing furry art. With each year I got a bit better and I decided to try my hand at commissions for the first time. It was rocky at first but it was very nice to see an interest in what I do both from friends and from others. My first real batch of commission took a long while due to me having trouble with finding a work, college, and life balance for doing so. I got those commissions done so I decided to open for more in around 2022-2023 especially with my moving into an apartment at the tail end of 2023. With college finished and me starting full time work in 2022 I thought I could handle doing both work and art on the side for additional income. However I now know that this was a mistake.

Art was something I loved doing all my life and finding the furry community proved to be an excellent place for me. However I did not anticipate the additional stress about the obligations of commission work. This took a negative toll on my art to where I’ve barely done art the past 2-3 years. I’ve lost the pleasure in art and it feels bad drawing for myself now instead of commissions. Even with knowing I need to do commissions it never feels good to put pen to tablet. I find myself hesitating, self doubting and even out right avoiding doing art. This is the realization I have come to and I have no one to blame but myself.

This being said however, I do not plan to give up on art as it is something I’ve always loved. Right now the best action I can take is to focus on art for myself and drawing practicing and doodling as I please. No longer worrying about deadlines or holding myself to an art schedule for commissions which I cant even bring myself to do. This however will not happen with the commissions looming over and the feeling of how much I’ve let you all down. No one should have to wait 2-3 years for art without so much as a work in progress.

This brings me to my decision. Commissions will now be on hold indefinitely and I will no longer be taking them going forward. If I do open again it will be when I feel better about art and I will probably open for very few slots. This will not happen any time soon. So, for those waiting on art from me I give you a few options:

If you are okay waiting indefinitely for your commission while I re-center then let me know. I will inform you when I am about to get started.

If you would a refund, like please contact me and I will put you on a list of who I need to refund and by how much. Refunds will be done as soon as I’m able.

Hey guys!! great to be back!

For almost the entirety of last year i was swamped with working 40 hours of retail in a schedule that made it very hard for me to do art. After a final straw this year of my bitch manager moving me from the department i liked to a department i hated (up front). i decided to look for a new job and i have found one! the new hours leave me a lot more time to do art but regrettably it doesn't pay as much. Though I'm very glad i took the job because the terrible treatment at my other job was wearing on my heavily. I've already begun getting back into the art habit and I'm very excited to get back into it!

I've begun the plans to move out of my parents house finally! however to do so i need to raise quite a lot of money before September. i will be having a roommate and it will make cost much easier. To help raise funds i plan to make some adopts and do some on the side commissions from my regular queue. This will be done while also working on the current queue. Finally!!!! Im finally done taking classes! i have just completed the final class of my degree ;w; im so fucking happy. NOT THINKING ABOUT DEBT SHUSH, ill cross that bridge when i come to it.

Now that school is forever off my plate (unless something in the future prompts me to return) i can finally focus on art again! and i couldnt be more hyped. The combo of work and school has been taking a mental physical and mental toll on me for the past 6 months. and now that im finally done... nothing will be standing in my way from getting into a regular art habit! Thank goodness I’m pretty much done with these two soul sucking classes. As such that leaves me only one class in the next 8 weeks of the semester then I’m done!!

School has started up once again! however this time it looks like the classes are not using the website i thought they would use. The website allows for audio dictation and helps a lot for me to get through readings. last spring i used this to complete assignments and do art simultaneously. Because this will not be the case this semester i have to find a better way of balancing art school and work. On the upside come the 2nd 8 weeks of the semester ill only be taking a single class instead of two which I'm doing right now. This should allow for more time for me to do art. In the mean time ill continue doing my best to get art done but know that my progress on commissions has been slowed due to School and work. Thank you all for being so patient and ill get the commissions i owe done as soon as I'm able. I was in an art slump through most of august and I feel myself slowly getting out of it so this is good news!

the past month or so has been very hectic with work. thus far we have had 2 people quit 1 who is moving and another who put in there two weeks. We are now very short handed in my department at work so ive been working a lot of extra hours to help and make money. another issue that popped up was with getting a loan for my final semester in college. this made me have to put down 350$ to start a payment plan while i wait for things to process so I don't get dropped.

Due to all the craziness I've not been drawing all that much and when i have I've been working on better techniques to make doing commissions and art faster. Thank you to all those who have commissioned me and thank you for your patients. once school starts my work schedule should be a bit lighter and if its the same as last semester i should be able to do art while i listen to chapters of a book for the classes. So expect much more done from me soon!

Because of the college issue I've been hurting on funds. ill be releasing both ychs and Smaugust adopts to help bring in additional revenue. this of course makes my queue longer and more work for me to do on top of what i already have to do. however I'm in a need for money to help my savings get back up.

That being said for those who are expecting gift art from me i must inform that i still intend to do them. i need to prioritize my commissions as i enter this final semester.

I draw lots of nsfw content, so I’ve decided to avoid the minor problem all together and make my commissions only for those 18+ NO EXCEPTIONS.
All commissions are through Paypal only. and must be sent through paying for goods and services. if money for a commission is sent through friends and family, I will send it back and request you resend it the correct way.
Ref sheet of character be it through a proper ref sheet or through multiple pictures of the character in question is required. However if the commission is for a ref sheet of a first fursona then a description as well as refs of multiple characteristics from various arts is acceptable.
To commission me you must own the character you desire to commission except if it is a gift for a friend. However, if it is nsfw, the recipient must know they are going to be drawn in an nsfw concept. If I know the recipient and know they are ok with nsfw gift art. Then no confirmation is necessary and of course lewd surprises ensue.
All wips and info pertaining to the commission are done best through telegram. Discord is acceptable however not as good of for sending and receiving files as telegram.
I have the right to accept and refuse any commission for any reason.
Once payment for a commission is received you will be promptly added to the queue.
Wait times vary depending on the number of those in front of you as well as what’s going on in my life. I am in college (though almost done) and I work about 30 hours a week. Upon the completion of a commission, I will send the finished picture and ask for your input. Once lines are complete I will send the completed lines wip waiting for affirmation. NOTE once lines are completed and coloring began. Editing the lines later is extremely difficult. So once its confirmed, I will likely not be going back unless its an easy or essential fix.
Color and shading: flat colors for all characters and background will be completed and will be done through multiple work in progress. Once flat color and shading is complete, and everything is in order, the final confirmation will be sent waiting for final edits.
Upon the completion of a commission, I will send the finished picture and ask for your input. Once confirmed I will move on to converting all subsequent pictures into their full, web, and if applicable, sticker resolution forms. You may post it to fa and anywhere you desire if you credit me for the work. CREDITING ME IS A MUST.

I am in the final stretch of my recovery from my tonsilectomy! This means im now happy to resume my art and commissoin work. Ive got a few updates coming.

Hello all! Just wanted to let you all know that the surgery for my tonsils adnoids and uvula removed went very well on the 16th. I’ve been recovering the past 5 days and hopefully I’ll hit that stride of improvement!

Once I’m feeling decently better it’s onto commissions I go! Commissions are still open and since I’m off work for a good bit anything help immencely

Remember that Surgery for my Tonsils and such i mentioned? Yeah thats happening next week! I know in the long run will help immensely due to it making breathing and sleeping much easier. But holy fuck im not looking forward to the recovery, especially at the beginning. However Ill be off work for 3 weeks with pay and able to get alot of art done. In the 3 weeks i plan to get through my current queue and start on the next one. I saw an ENT (ears nose and throat) doctor and I need to get my tonsils abnoids and uvula removed. All are too big and inhibit my breathing. After some thinking ive decided to change my name from ZanderZinex. It felt like a good name at the time but now it just feels more tonguetie ish and is kinda hard to say. So ive decided on something new. From now on my name will Be Zander Rhinot

One of the best friends i have wanted me to help bring his Rhinotian beetle species to life as an open species. I had already thought up the name when i mentioned the name change to him. Thats when he asked me to help bring his species to life therefore making us co-owners of the species. i have yet to start working on it but its on my to do list.

Ive gotten back into art with a full swing. Ive knocked out 2 commissoins and just in the past week and am set to finishing the others as well. Once i do i will open up again with new prices and better art than i had when i opened back in 2018.

I have a new job now. i used to be a lowely bagger who couldnt get a raise. But now i have switched departments and am working in produce now. i work in the evening now instead of in the morning.

As you guys know I have started animating. I saw some really fun videos about people talking about their life and adding in fun jokes and such. I was like omg I wanna do this too. it looks like fun to do. so I got started and am working on my first video to post on youtube. But ill admit its hard not to get discouraged just starting off. I was curious how many of you would be supportive of such a thing. I am still having fun making stuff like this but yeah.

im very behind on commissions and gift art. I have been very busy with work and school and have only had one day a week where i dont have to go anywhere. its been hard to get into that mood to draw. i have the list of all the art i owe and thank you all for being so patient with me. once summer is here ill have 3 days off in a row giving me plenty of time to do art and also relax.
