General | Posted 16 years agoHey there everyone! Opening up another round of commissions since I'm on break from school for another week and a half. =D
This time it'll be sketches, inks, and icons.

The prices for the commissions are as follows:
- $10 for a sketch commission with one (1) character
- $15 for a inked commission with one (1) character
- $17 for an icon commission for MSN/FA/Etc.
- +$5 for every character after first.
- +$5 - 10 for background depending on complexity (we'll discuss that bit via notes.)
Note: My only method of payment at this point is through PayPal. You will receive my PayPal address when you send me the note detailing your commission.
The way my work flow goes is as follows:
1.Receive initial payment (Half of the commission price)
2.Initial Sketch
3.You review the sketch for possible changes that need to be changed
4.I update the sketch with the requested changes
5.Repeat 3 and 4 as necessary
6.Receive final payment (Final half of the commission price)
7.Ink Picture (If inked commission or icon)
8. Send the WIP/Final pic for you to ok (Ink/Icon commissions only)
9.Color (Icon commissions only)
10. Send the final pic for you to ok (Icon commissions only)
My Guidelines for commissions are the same as before with a few tweaks:
-I will not draw anything of an adult or lewd nature.
-I will also not draw anything with extreme violence in it. That means gore for the most part. I can do blood, but we start seeing organs and lopped off limbs it's crossed the line and won't be accepted.
-I absolutely will not draw cubs. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
-I will not draw any drugs or drug related items.
-I WILL draw practically anything else.
-I WILL do tasteful nudity on a case by case basis. (If you need examples look at The Venus De Milo or The David by Michelangelo. If I think your idea is going to far though I'll suggest rethinking the idea.)
If everything seems agreeable then feel free to post in this journal stating you would like a commission. Once I've confirmed a slot for you please proceed to send me a note with as much detail and reference material as you see fit to provide to convey what you want in your commission.

General | Posted 16 years agoHey everyone sorry I just kinda up and disappeared for a long while I've just been so busy with this school quarter that I've had no time really to browse FA or upload art and such. Thankfully now I've finished my last final and I'm free for the next two weeks. *cracks knuckles* Time for me to get cracking (no pun intended) on art I need to do. Expect commissions to be opening up sometime between Sunday and Tuesday. =)
Also if you all are curious as to what I've been up to in school I plan on posting two images of probably the largest project I had in the next few hours. =3 I'm very proud of them since I worked my ass off to get these done by today. XD

Wacom Tablet Problems x_x
General | Posted 17 years agoSo I've been using my tablet for close to two years happily with absolutely no problems until just an hour ago.
I hooked my tablet up to my laptop like I always do to finish homework and possibly finish one of my final two commissions. Buuuuut.... I find out only the mouse is working. The pen moves the cursor on screen but I can't click on anything. As I stated, only the mouse works perfectly at the moment, I've searched the internet and tried a few fixes including reinstalling the latest drivers for my tablets all to no avail. So I'm turning to any artists who happen to be watching me and maybe know how to fix this. Help please?
Any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.

All I have to say about FC is this... it fucking rocks! I've been having the time of my life. =D
Only downside I've experienced so far was my nerves wreaking havoc on my body and making me experience flu like symptoms when in reality it was just nerves. XD I've been hopped up on Day-quil and Peptobismol for the first half of then con. lol
After I got over my nerves and just relaxed and went with the flow I've been amazing and really enjoying myself. I've bought so many things including some
Blotch prints, a badge from 
cooner as well as his new portfolio among other stuff at the con. =3
I'm sad to have to leave tomorrow =< I'll really miss this place and all the awesome people I met and hung out with. (On a side note K9 is an amazing person who is extremely fun to hang out with.

In other news commissions are chugging along smoothly. I have 3 inks in the process of being completed and I'll hopefully get them out by Wednesday night for review before I leave for FC on Thursday afternoon.
To all those who have me on their MSN messenger lists you might have noticed that I have not been on as much as I normally have been this past weekend. That's mostly because I'm eliminating as much homework as I possibly can before I leave so that I won't be trying to catch up when I get back. I expect this trend will continue at least into tomorrow night, possibly Tuesday afternoon.

Since these are inked character commissions please no backgrounds. I've never really inked my backgrounds anyway so it wouldn't make much sense to request what wouldn't normally be inked.
If you are in agreement with those guidelines go ahead and send me a note with a complete description of what you want, including all character reference images and all references in general for the pic should you think they are necessary beyond the character references. (For example: Pose references if the pose you want if noticeably hard to describe)
Once I receive your note I'll review it and let you know if it meets the criteria and we'll discuss payment from there. Once I receive payment I'll begin the sketch portion which I will present to you when it is finished for review to make sure everything is as you described in the commission description. After any and all revisions are made I will then proceed to ink the commission which will be emailed to you upon it's completion.

Even though I'm probably gonna have to bake my own cake tomorrow >.> Oh well I enjoy baking so no biggie.

On a less happy note I'm most likely going to be forced to open up commissions earlier than I had hoped due to finding out my laptop's hinges are completely shot which means if I try to shut the laptop my monitor is liable to practically snap which is not wanted at all lol. General | Posted 18 years agoSo I went to the midnight release party at my local Gamestop for Smash Brothers. =P Signed up for the tournament and everything. Although I probably came within minutes of getting frost bite. (Store was to small to accommodate all the people that showed up for the tournament so me and my little brother were stuck out in the cold with more than half the participants freezing our asses off. XD ) We finally got in when our bracket began and needless to say it was hilarious. I got stuck using bowser while my brother got stuck using pit in our fights. We had to face off against some friends we made in line which was even more ironic. (We lost if you were wondering. =P I missed the last hit on the smash ball by an inch and then my opponent wailed on me XD And my brother got the dragoon but time ran out just as his opponent died so it didn't count it ><)
But yeah got Brawl and it is awesome. The only thing I had a little complaint about was that the online seemed a little laggy to me. I tested it with a friend online and we were both experiencing some pretty bad lag. May just be our connection but that was the only downside I found. =P
So if anyone would like to brawl ask me and I'll send you my brawl friends code. =P

I got infected with a worm when I stupidly clicked on the same link from a friend. In fact I got infected by 2 of them...
So if you get a link similar to that from me, no matter how curious you are do NOT click it. It hides on your computer and then spreads itself to everyone on your contacts list.
Only way I know to fix it is to simply run your Anti-virus and fix the problems as they come up, don't wait until the end of the scan. I found that out the hard way X_x it activated a second time during my first scan.

General | Posted 18 years agoI just saw Cloverfield yesterday at noon. :D I went with my little brother and his friend since I knew they wanted to see it and I felt like being extra nice. Anyway we get there and sit in the theater for around a half an hour just bullshitting and goofing off while watching the trivia on the screen. then finally the movie started after what must have been 20 previews...
Seriously though I loved the movie. It was by far better than I expected. I personally think it lived up to and pretty much surpassed all the hype. The monster was the scariest thing I had seen in a while. XP It could definitely, as my friend perfectly put it, make godzilla shit itself. I was on the edge of my seat almost the entire movie wondering where the next thing would pop out of nowhere. XD I only had one gripe though... the party at the beginning is way to long... I even went to the bathroom during it and took my sweet time walking back to my seat and it was still going. Other than that everything was awesome. I wasn't bothered at all by the shaking of the camera and the ending that I've heard a lot of people on the net complaining about was pure genius in my mind. Yet I did get a little queasy after they come out of the subway, I won't say why cause that would ruin it. ;P

I'm gonna need to take time away from art and everything and just be alone for a bit. If it does happen I'll let you all know that I will be gone in another journal. Here's hoping he pulls a 180 and starts getting better... I don't want to lose him... T_T
I hope everyone's new year starts with a bang and that 2008 is even better than 2007.
Anyways I thought I should say, my birthday is on Friday for those wishing to say happy birthday or do a birthday picture. It's not required in the least but if you want to you are more than welcome. :D (yay 19! XP)
In other news though.... umm... I may not be here for a little bit in the future. It's a big maybe at the moment but my mom just got a call from my grandmother.... my grandfather's nurse estimates he has MAYBE 10 days left... so if that turns out to be true... A quick reminder and some random facts.
General | Posted 18 years agoOkay first off I just wanted to let people know when my birthday is in case you wanted to give me something. It's January 4th so that's two weeks from tomorrow. Also don't feel obligated to give me something because it's my birthday. I'm just as fine with receiving nothing. ;)
Okay, onto the random facts now. Since I got tagged by seanbt. :P

1- I hate vegetables for the most part. I only like Potatoes and broccoli to tell the truth. XP

limeykit got me addicted to the band Boston yesterday. O_O Such awesome music.
4- I'm out of school until January 14th now for Christmas break so I'll hopefully get more art out in that time.
5- I'm actually doing this at work because my FTP uploads died on me and my boss is out of the office. (I need to ask him for permission to restart the router so that someone's important files don't accidentally not make it through)
6- Class was fun today, we played Xbox 360 and Wii for the entire 3 hours. XD
7- My car doors froze shut last Thursday and since then my door lock doesn't work. O_o
(I once again tag nobody since I can't think right now DX)

General | Posted 18 years agoSo yeah today has been really weird...
First my flashdrive with all my sketches disappears from my backpack before I left for class this morning. Either it's laying in the computer room or some gremlins stole it out of my backpack during the night.... -_-
Then I get to school and we're supposed to give a persuasive speech today and I'm up at the podium calming myself so I wasn't overly stressed when a faculty member comes in the room and apologizes for the interruption and informs us that... there had been a bomb threat called in from a Home Depot in Fridley... O_O Needless to say we all looked at each other and basically grabbed everything and booked it out of the school so I got out of class an hour early.
Finally I'm driving in to the parking lot in front of my job and... it starts to snow... and that may not seem weird for Minnesota, but there was no clouds whatsoever in the sky and there's these good sized snowflakes lazily falling from the sky. o_O
All in all... my day has been really weird so far... and it's not even noon yet! XP
(sorry if the grammar is crap, but I'm typing this at work while my boss ran out to pick up some lunch.)

3. I've lived in Minnesota all my life and I still am not used to the below zero temperatures. XD
4. I was one of maybe three out of six hundred plus people in my graduating class with a beard and mustache.
5. I HATE people who threaten my friends. >: (
6. I have seriously never broken a bone in my body.
7. I live in the land of 10,000 lakes and I don't have any idea how to swim. (I sink like a rock XD)
8. I get scared out of my mind when I go to say something to a really good artist on this site... don't know why... I think I'm just afraid I'm gonna look like a damn fan boy or a douche bag... one of the two... >_>
