Anyway, over the recent months more than a few of y'all have contacted me to ask me if I'm still active here on FA, and the answer is "yes but no"

Yes, I'm still here and haven't just abandoned the site or my profiles. But no, I haven't been posting a lot - or even signing in a lot! I have like 2000+ journals to nuke when I logged in to post this!

So I'm still here, I'm still arting, I'm just posting the bulk of my work off-site.

I took a long break from commission work between going radio silent on this account and reopening for orders over on tumblr; I've been working out a lot of my health issues and trying very hard to get sober - now I'm happy to say I've been sober for over four months!

I don't do a lot of furry work mostly because commissioners don't ask for it on tumblr and because I've never really felt very good at it - humans and humanoids are what I do best, I think.

Hey guys! While I was taking a nap earlier this evening, my hotmail account password was reset and a spambot took over my account. They'd be flat colored, with colored, somewhat sketchy lineart! I've loved doing them; they're wonderful practice at figures and fabric, so I figured it'd be cool to offer a few on commission. I prefer humanoids, as usual, but anthro characters are always welcome.

Prices would fall between $25-$35 depending on character/outfit complexity, and you'd have to provide your own outfit references.

If anyone would be interested, let me know via comment! If there's enough interest, I'll open three slots or so in the next couple of days!

Hey guys! I've been in a really nostalgic mood lately and as such, I've been drawing pokemon a lot!

I know the series is quite popular on FA, so I'm putting out feelers for Pokemon commission interest!

The current idea is a trainer character - your fursona or OC, whathaveyou - and one or two of their favorite pokemon partners!

I'm working on a massive pokemon project over on my personal account, but what I have in mind for commissions would probably be more similar to my superhero splash commissions - no defined lineart but full color.

I'd like to do these because I want to practice feral characters and monsters, and interaction with humanoid characters. :3

Don't know what the prices would be like yet, but this is just to gauge interest! :3 Or if you had other ideas regarding pokemon in future commissions, please share them!

ONWARD, AOSHIMAAAA

Last night, a kind individual informed me that my art had been reposted to e621 once again. After I did the usual and filed a takedown request through the site, the administrator promptly got back to me this evening.

Several months ago, I received a kind note from one of their administrators, Tony311, asking if their site could host my images. I'd said yes, but it slipped my mind until the admin kindly reminded me in his note tonight. I think I may not have realized at the time that it was an administrator who'd initially contacted me for permission - I think I thought he was just a commissioner asking about one image in particular, or I'd just honestly forgotten the note entirely.

Either way, I've come to my final conclusion.

I now allow my art to be hosted on e621.net, provided the images are the low-res, watermarked pictures I post myself. Many of the commenters on e621 complain about my watermarks and where they're placed, but after being impersonated on the site in 2009, I will not be posting any unwatermarked artwork online.

I figure that my artwork will be reposted no matter what I do, and it's easier to say yes now that e621 has a kind and understanding staff that looks kindly on the original artists and treats them with respect.
