UPDATE DUMB WRIST

I'm currently recovering from Radial shortening and cyst removal surgery (Happy B-day to me right? lol)
It was discovered my radius (thumb side arm bone) was 8 mm longer than my ulna (pinky side arm bone)
The typical deviation is 2-3 mm. This was causing bone bleeding and crowding in my wrist bones and thus drawing and writing pain.
SO, I had surgery where they shortened my radius by about 4 mm. They also took out my ganglion cyst; It was benign, just in the way. Recovery back to normal drawing should be about 1.5-2 months.
It hurts a lot right now but I m SO ready to be able to draw without pain. And being able to draw more often means I will be more likely to practice and improve!
TL;DR
I had surgery to fix my wrist, be back to drawing most likely late October.

Lately I have had some SERIOUS art block. (Lately you say? more like the past forever and a half!)
I previously was busy with school and I am really wanting to get back to arting I am just finding a lot of blocks in my way especially being rusty, for all you artists out there, how do you get past art block and being rusty at art in general? What are all your tricks and secret passcodes! I want to get to level 5!

Plush Commissions
Posted 11 years agoAfter being yelled at by multiple people telling me to stop underselling myself and realizing I am taking a bit of a loss on my plushies I have decided to raise my prices.
I apologize for any inconvenience if anyone was planning to commission me with my old prices in the future.
I realized that my old prices, considering the time and effort put into these plushes, gave me around $1.50 an hour in profit.
My new prices are based on what other people are charging for their plushes and the quality difference (if any) between mine and other ones that are offered.
I am also working on revamping my pattern a bit and modifying it so that they look even more awesome!
AND in the future (if I can find the right colors) I am looking into using metallic shiny thread for the color of the eyes! (YAY SHINY)
I will be posting my new prices and the new specs of the ponies I make as soon as I am finished with my pattern modifications.
Thanks all for being understanding and even being interested in my plushes!

P.S. Making the head better is proving to be WAY more difficult than I thought
P.P.S. UGH Pattern making can be super frustrating lol

I am putting out scratch card business cards to fit the casino atmosphere!! There are winners for free sketches and everyone who watches me between now (3-27-14) and 4-11-14 will be given a number and entered into a raffle for a free flat color.

1. These are free sketches so please be patient, I will get them done as fast as I can but I am in college so I do need to focus on school.
2. I will need a ref from you and just a few things your character likes/ the way they act in general, this information helps me come up with a pose to draw.

Alright Rainfurrest Special Cards Time!!!!

Just a few rules real quick.
1. You don't have to be watching me but I would REALLY appreciate it
2. One code per person, I want more people to have the chance at art I don't want one person getting a bunch.
3. They will be first come first serve meaning the first notes I get will be the ones I work on first, I will post a list here so people can check to see what place in the line they are.
4. Don't be a Butt! These are free arts! I will be doing them in my free time in between school and work and anything else I might have to do. It might take a bit but I WILL get them all done.
5. Brag about them!!! I'm really working on getting my art out there and noticed so tell your friends how awesome you think it is! Feel free to post them to your FA as long as you link back to the original and give me credit.
Anyway I hope everyone who got a card was smart enough to turn it over and I hope you enjoy!!!

Posted 12 years agoSo I just got home from Rainfurrest! it was A BLAST! Met some new awesome furs in my town to hang with so I'm super excited!!
