So, I'm curious. How many of you are girls, and how many of you are blokes?

I like being able to swear in the chat. I also like being able to work on adult commissions without worrying about being shut down.

But the site itself was very bodged, and it really shows. It's five days into the month, and apparently half of their monthly bandwidth allowance has been used up. There's a 15 viewer limit on rooms, and now they're sending people into streams to tell you to shove off if you've been streaming for too long.


Great idea in theory. Not doing so well in practise, it seems.

This is an idea I've toyed with for a while, and sort of want to put it together finally. Plain and simple, it's a colouring book that can be purchased either in bound, book format, or downloaded via the internet.

I have a few marketing research questions for y'all, though. If I were to finally go through with this:

1. Would you be likely to purchase such an item?
2. How much would you be willing to spend on such an item?
3. What sorts of images would you like to see?
4. Which characters would you most like to see?

While I may include some already-existing artwork in this, most of it would be new content, so this is sort of your chance to tailor this collection.

I'm going to be starting a new project soon, and one of the characters in it is a crow.

Just got home from falling in love all over again with the first love of my life. I don't typically do full write-ups of shows and stuff that I go to, mainly because I can never keep the details straight.

But I will say a few things:

The Self-Pleasuring Panda was love.
The Chuck Norris Rural Policeman Handle was so much love.
That was the WORST bat I have EVER seen.
And Conan O'Brien really does have no arse. He should never wear leather trousers again.


Also, I was at first mildly disappointed that Max wasn't there, but the rest of the show made up for his absence.

And after 17 years of being on network television, it was VERY strange to hear Conan and Andy swear.


I'm also oddly pleased that Conan and Andy aren't doing a damn thing to hide their bitterness and resentment. They make it very clear that it's because of those feelings that they're doing the tour.

I can't wait until the song gets put on the interweb. Also, supposedly they're making a documentary about this tour. I'm so buying the DVD.

How does one put their name in the proverbial hat to be able to draw the monthly banner?

I've been wondering this for years. Even the Wiki doesn't know.

In other news, I got the new laptop all set up this morning, with SAI and my tablet, and all my settings. And by "new," I mean my best mate bought a new one, so she gave us her old one. It needs a new battery, and a serious RAM upgrade (For a year, now, she wondered why she's been having issues with it. Well, she's running Windows 7 on 1 GB or RAM, so maybe that's a start).


So, things I'm saving up for:

Wow. I expected to get at least a few more.

I'm home alone. I'm bored, and sick of being inside, so I do what anybody would do in this case: go to the pub. However, my local isn't quite so local at all, and between unseasonably cold weather and 30 MPH winds, I decided to find some place rather a bit more close. There's a place just up the road that's all the rage it seems like, so I went there.

I really should not have. To start, I went alone, so I had to sit at the bar. This wasn't a problem, since I prefer to sit there. Only apparently, the Crown and Anchor has a really wanky liquor license, and can only serve beer and wine at the bar; spirits are served to tables only. Since I've not found a single beer, wine, cider, ale, lager, or stout that I like (I'm totally a mixed-drink person), I just had a soda.

Then, we get to the matter of the food. They do actually do food, but I went with something simple and familiar: a steak and kidney pie with mash and brown gravy, and some peas on the side. It took a half hour to even get my food. When I finally did, the peas were from a can and cold, the mash was STRINGY (figure that one out, cause I can't), the gravy was just brown water, and the pie had the consistency of that dog food that makes its own gravy.

So Sean Patrick's is a bit out of the way. I've been going there for years, and have NEVER had a problem there. The only thing the Crown and Anchor has that Sean Patrick's hasn't is a darts board, and they show the football matches. But so what? I've got a darts board in my sitting room, where I can also watch the football matches.



And a bonus rant: the batteries in my keyboard are knackered apparently, so I typed up this whole thing with the on-screen keyboard. And now I'm going to the shop for new batteries, because I can't find any of the right size. D:

Never mind! I found a remote control that's not being used, and it had the right batteries! :D

There's really no doubt that this is a buyer's market. There are so many artists out there providing essentially the exact same service, and only so many people willing to buy.

To those who buy commissions: Would you consider purchasing more art if I changed my prices? If I did change my prices, what would to be willing to pay?

Now, I don't actually have a job. Any money I make from my art is the only money I make. So, let's be serious, people. >:|

I don't really get it, either. I got bored enough to wander into a few chatrooms on deviantART, and the first question I was asked in every one of them was what species I am.

Depending on my mood, I typically answer this question with either human or gnat. Apparently using "human" in one of the rooms I wandered into was highly offensive for reasons I still can't figure out.


Seriously, am I so rare in this fandom as to not have a "fursona" (and I rutting hate that word, for the record)?
