woke up to an email from a friend asking where my tumblr (@zedogica) went. sure enough, logged in to see "Your account has been terminated." no email explaining why, nothing. that was the biggest following i have ever had anywhere, and it just disappearing literally overnight and not being told why is devastating. i'm frankly disgusted by the level of control that these faceless, soulless corporations have over public discourse, and especially over artists' lives. i didn't ask to have to rely on fucking corpos for my livelihood. no one has, it's coercive. i'm tired. i'm so so so tired.

i'm gonna try to keep working on my comic, but if i'm being honest i don't know if i am mentally in a place to do anything like that. i'll wait for support to get back to me, but i doubt theyll do anything.

sorry about the extended delay, i got sick, and wasn't able to draw nearly as much as i wanted to over the last little bit. page 22 IS done, and i'll be posting it in a few hours.

i just finished moving my computer back into my apartment, and will start working on the comic again tomorrow!

i guess it just needed a couple days to dry out. i'll be on the lookout for any future problems with it, but for now it's working.

my apartment recently flooded, and my drawing tablet was broken. i have renter's insurance, so i'll probably be able to make a claim on it, but in the meantime i can't update the comic.

comic #1 is going to be removed from "canon" from now on. it'll still be publicly available, but won't be part of the main comic.

was at MFF for the last few days, decided to let it be a short break from making the comic. but now, i'm ready to get going again.

when i started making normal guys, i wasn't taking it seriously at all. the first comic was literally the first time i'd thought of or even *drawn* either of them. as a result, the first few have issues, and don't really fall in line with what i want the comic to be. so, i'm excited to announce that i'll be doing a "mulligan", redrawing (and rewriting!) the first few comics, which will be uploaded through updating the source files here on FA. the originals will still be available on my website (https://zedogica.neocities.org/normalguys/comic/), as well as on tumblr (https://www.tumblr.com/normalguyscomic) and itch.io (https://zedo.itch.io/normal-guys).

comics #16 and #17 are both nearly done, but will not be worked on until after the mulligan is finished. i appreciate your patience during this unconventional action, and will alert anyone watching me through journals as the new versions are completed and uploaded!

the last couple weeks have just been packing, moving, unpacking, driving and walking a lot, and not much else. but, i'm glad to say now that i've finished enough unpacking at the new place to set up my computer, and i've started drawing the comic again! the new one is six panels, so it'll still be a little bit before it's done. panel 4 is almost done though!
