Compensation Plan for Overdue Rewards of Patreon

First of all, an genuine apology for all the Patreon members affected by my disappearance in the past 9 months.
During this period, I had left the membership open and received numerous payments, without actually giving any promised reward.

I'm also deeply sorry that I can't provide any detail or excuse for my absence.
Not requesting any immediate forgiveness, I will take every reasonable blame on me.

Still, I believe that giving the actual compensation to the affected members as soon as possible
would be a more solid way to resolve this incident and express my sincerity;
thus, I will explain the walkthrough and details of the compensation plan in the following paragraphs.

If you're one of the affected members,
Please thoroughly read the following messages to understand your benefits and rights regarding the compensation plan.

1. Pause Billing

Billing on Patreon should be paused at this point.
From here on, I'll primarily work on the compensation plan & other overdue task in the near future;
thus, the Patreon service will be practically & Indefinitely unavailable during this period.

Yet, Patreon will still charge people if they attempt to join, so please don't join membership for now.
There will be no compensation for any new members joining after Nov 26, 2025.

2. Notification

Notification of the compensation plan(called "plan" for short) should already have been sent via Patreon dm
to all the affected members(called "members" for short).
Then, members can use the invite link within to join this Discord group.

Please use your Patreon-linked Discord account to join this server if available.
I'll manually assign Reptilia role to you once I verify your account.

If the DC account used to join this server is not linked to your Patreon account,
Please DM me on Patreon and let me know the username of the Discord account you use.

3. Introduction of Proposals

There are two versions of plan:
"Reward Compensation", and "Direct Refunds".

A. Reward Compensation
I'll make up the lack of rewards in old fashion, with no additional charge but more content for each month.
Pros:
-Free & additional art reward
-Have exclusive access to my Patreon which will be unavailable to non-members for a while
Cons:
-Take more time to provide

B. Direct Refunds
As title said, I'll use refund function on Patreon. Although It's not guaranteed whether it can work properly on every members.
Pros:
-Intuitive compensation on client side
Cons:
-Risk of getting transaction fee
-No additional payback
-Patreon Art unavailable in near future

4. Members Decision

Please be aware,
Only one of the plan above will apply and it will apply to all the members.

Once over 2/3 of the members join this server, read, understand and agree with the plan,
a poll will be held for a week to determine which version to use later on.

The winning version require following conditions:
-Having more votes then the other
-the other option having less votes than 1/3 of the number of members

The total number of members is 63; thus the poll will be started after the server reach 43 verified members,
and the second condition will be false if the votes against are less than 22.

5. Reward Plan

The following only apply if the plan A pass.

The members will be grouped based on which month they had been charged in,
and the reward of each month will still be exclusive to the corresponding group, for a month.

Polls and rewards work basically the same as before,
except all being held in this Group instead of the original one,
to avoiding problems with previous reward contents & Patreon bot.

Also, the one month interval between each reward cycle will be ignored,
the next nomination & poll will be held as soon as the previous reward is completed.
Still, each reward won't take more than a month to be finished.

For additional reward, members can nominate one more character/theme during nomination stage,
and an additional special poll will be held for these nominees.
The winning option from this special poll will receive one pic reward.
The constraint rules between these two polls do not affect each other, and will be determined separately.

A new constraint rules will be implemented.
While the old rule directly ban the previously winning nominee,
the constraints rules only force the consecutive winning option give up a position to the next one.

6. Others & Special

The members of March will only receive the pre-determined overdue reward and the special poll reward,
since the original poll reward has already been decided.
Still, I'm very sorry for the long wait.
