Along with Werewolves, Gryphons and of course...Dragons! But angels too!
Anyway,

Today I had a portfolio interview for Animation and in summary, they were fairly impressed. They stated that my sketchbooks have more energy to them and are really impressive. We even chatted for a while about animation overall on films like Fantasia and Don Bluth.
I was also given an overview of the projects involved in the course and they sound pretty interesting.
All in all, I certainly hope it turns out more enjoyable than the course I'm in at the moment since its so...ugh.

But yeah! Thats where I've been over the last while. Filling in my sketchbook and getting my portfolio together for Animation next year.
They'll tell me in the next week whether I've gotten a place or not. Lets keep my fingers crossed!

Also, I kind of realised that maybe I could upload some stuff in correlation with drawings in my sketchbook.
As in I could scan it in a digitally alter it or colour it. I learned a few things in Graphic Design and it was fairly handy
so I think I could do it here too!

And sorry for the lack of updates! I hope everyone's new year has been going well for them so far!

One thing that I have noticed over the years, in regards to my work,
is that its quite hard for me to actually sit down and take my time with my work.

I really have little patience and overstepping the frustration while
still being willing to learn more is harder than I think.

Its also quite exhausting too
and I think the major problem I face with making work
is that if I don't make an amazing piece there and then,
it won't be for another long time before I make something again.

WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING OUT ON ALL THESE YEARS.

Y'know, despite my claims my work wouldn't be worth uploading,
it got me wondering..

Would my work actually look great here? Will I enjoy the whole idea of uploading itself?
The more I look at dA, the more I notice how dull it is. All of my friends are gone
and I like the people here. There is a pleasant atmosphere here.

Sooo that begs the question of what I should upload..or in another term,
what should I make..?

Nothing is more infuriating when you notice
your old work in your gallery is so old that
it NEEDS TO BE UPDATED BADLY

But then there is the reality that smacks you in the face
telling you that you have important exams coming up >:C

wastelands of what is called deviantART
and have decided to try out this place.

I don't know a whole lot about the community here

Got a new scanner for Xmas so start expecting art to flow in :D

my scanner turns to shit and refuses to cooperate with the damm computer..
