My Tablet...
Posted 12 years agoI... I think its on its last legs....
Its acting up horribly and I don't know why. Half the time my computer says it won't recognize the device, the light flashes once and goes off. I can unplug and replug it in MANY MANY times and it'll work eventually, but this last time it kept flashing off, resetting the pen pressure/completely not recognizing the pen pressure, for no reason, though it would randomly start working again shortly.
If anyone still has a decent condition Wacom Bamboo (or any other) tablet laying around they'd be willing to sell for a decent price, I might be interested...
I don't want to give it up, it was my graduation present. My first tablet, the one I learned on, and I even just got a new pen for it this past year because I lose the original in a move T3T

Posted 12 years agoI've had this idea for a character in my head for a couple days now:
A not so slightly overweight lemon and white Basset Hound girly. On a play on 'pinning back Bassets' ears so they don't get in the way', she almost always has her ears pulled back in a 'ponytail'. She's pleasant enough of a person, but she can be a real blunt bitch when people start talking about her weight.
I'm really loving her, and attempting to draw her... I suck at arms and legs so much >.< Not sure what I want her name to be. I'm thinking something French as a throwback to the breed origins, and she might have a slight French accent as well, one that really comes out as she gets angry until it turns into fullblown French lol. Oriel is high on the list, but I'm open to suggestions :D
Can't wait to get her done and post her up :3

Posted 12 years agoMy mate called an ambulance last night because I was having severe abdominal pain and after chatting with a nurse friend we thought it might be appendicitis and we don't have a car... we spent like 8 hours at the hospital last night and 3 of those were waiting around to be seen so I couldn't even lay down and rest which was ALL I wanted to do so I was super fucking annoyed by the time they finally called me back and was already feeling better and then they did a pelvic exam and I'm pretty sure he didn't use any lube on the speculum and it HURT D< AND THEN since we don't have a car they had to call us a cab but the dude wrote down the wrong address so the cabbie left and we had to get a new thing with the right address and wait around for the cabbie to come back and he was like a GIANT ASSHOLE and we didn't get home til 5:30 in the morning ._. Turns out I have some sort of viral infection they can't do anything about and that should go away on its own in a couple days or something. So I'm not doing too wonderfully currently, but at least I didn't have appendicitis and need surgery.

I can't wait to see this place grow and develop further and couldn't help but spread the word. A word or warning, they've been fixing some issues over the past few days and though I think everything is stable now, the games they have are offline currently and are still being tweaked, but hopefully they'll be back up soon~

My mate and I are eloping for now and plan to have a nice wedding with the family at a later date, when we can afford it. We want to get married in both our home states as well, so it works out well this way :3

They have a decently realistic genetics code that drew me in from the start and I'm very intrigued by it. So of course I'm trying to breed for perfect genes; 24HH genomes which gives them no faults for defects in eyes, hips, elbows, and ears, and the lala genome which allows the dog to birth maximum litter sizes.

People like to draw cow anthros with 4 boobies... but really don't cows have ONE boob with 4 nipples?
And then what about cats and dogs? They have 8 nipples... so if you're drawing a cow with 4 boobs shouldn't dogs and cats have 8 boobs?
Just a thought....
Not that I want to see dogs and cats with 8 boobs, or cows with only one boob but with 4 nipples... I prefer them to have 2 boobs, like a human, thank you very much! Just bringing up the point for people that try to keep animal anthros truer to their animal side than their human side... sometimes we humanize them for the best >.>;

We are in the midst of planning my 1200+ mile move EVEN AS I TYPE this, lol
So excited, can't wait to get out of here, to finally see him, to be able to touch him and hug him and kiss him... and of course other things... lululul ANYWAI... X3

I'd really like to know if I did something really horrible in a past life, or multiple past lives, because I just can't get a fucking break.
I'm going to be 21 in November, I've never done drugs, never been drunk, never slept around, I do my best to be open, nonjudgmental, fair, I've been playing mother to my brother's kids for like the past year and a half and because of it got kicked out of college because I couldn't handle both and now I can't get a job because I need to stay home with the kids and can't pay off my student loans so now my credit score is probably going to be shit. My prospects for getting a job are incredibly limited as I've never had a job before and can't drive, so my application will look like crap to employers in a really competitive job market(?).
Even before graduating from high school my 'friends' seemed to be abandoning me, I was always a last resort. They would all hang out with each other but if no one else was available they would on occasion call me. If I called them? They were always busy with other people, or a couple of times they just plain blew me off. I sat at home waiting for them to come over as they said they would (when THEY FUCKING PLANNED IT) and they didn't even call to say they weren't coming over or why. I used to think I had quite a few friends, now... I have two that actually talk to me regularly and actually want to do things with me, but they're both a bit far away and like me can't drive. Two others talk to me occasionally and once in a blue moon hang out. And the other two are purely online relationships (one who I include as a best friend because he has been there for me a LOT, and the other my boyfriend) because they are WAY too far away for us to be able to do anything together in person.
My brother has been in jail the past nine months and now that he's out not a whole lot has changed. A week and a half after he gets out of jail what happens? My boyfriend is diagnosed with a heart infection that requires a $60,000 surgery that his insurance won't cover or he has at most three years to live. And I can't even be there with him or help take care of him after he gets said surgery hopefully this september because he lives over 1200 miles away and as I said before I can't drive nor do I have a job so I have no way to get to him.
I must have been a fucking horrible person in my past lives.

Posted 14 years agoOkay so I’ve been sucked into Feralheart the past couple weeks and have been doing… absolutely nothing productive. Was talking with a… ‘friend’ two nights ago and am now brimming with inspiration for art. So I’ve started on a personal piece that is just not leaving me alone and after I finish that I’ll be making a ref sheet for a new character and then finally at long last completing my current trade and request. I’m weaning myself away from Feralheart, I’m still going to go on just not… every waking hour >.< It’s certainly good for a quick RP fix I’ll tell you that, and the map maker… I can spend hours making maps… XD
