Phasing out SAM.
Posted a year ago(This is a write-up primarily directed at those who want to use the Devourment+SAM+HIMBO body.
or if you want to just see me ramble, you do you :) )
Let's talk for a moment.
I LOVE the SAM morphs, especially the muscle-based Samson slider. I'm sure I need not give you a reason as to why I'd like to use such sliders on a bunch of Skyrim NPCs, including my own player character. Paired with something like SkyFurry, having a bunch of hyper-manly beastmen with extremely dynamic physiques roaming around in the wild whose guts can be filled with prey of all shapes and sizes is truly a prime gaming experience that always made for a fun way to waste some time whenever I had any to spare!
(Author's Note: There was a statement here featuring a mini-rant about SAM. After taking into consideration I honestly don't care as much as the statement initially let on, I decided to just nuke this section. Bye-bye!)
Enter HIMBO. You may as well read the page for yourself in you want a glimpse into all the features it has, but the most important part is that it's more up-to-date and modern than SAM. Even better: HIMBO seems to work just fine with a Devourment+SkyFurry NG setup, especially if you use the officially curated version of the body that is on the Devourment page itself.
All of this is to say that, moving forward, that "Devourment+SAM+HIMBO" journal will be effectively depreciated. No point in deleting it in the event you want to use it for yourself anyway (this, too, is a decision you are free to make) but don't expect too much help from me about getting it to work. The HIMBO + Devourment body is just so much more compatible with things on the whole, to the point where you might even see some 'exotic' races in the future that always fell flat due to SAM's obnoxious, rigid setup requirements (THE SEAMS. THE SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAMS).
I'm sure characters are going to look a bit different as a result of this change, some getting hit harder than others.
...or maybe not? Again, HIMBO is so feature/slider-rich that it's probably just a matter of me needing to properly mess around with it and finding an alternative setup for slider combinations to use. I'll tell you what, though: the butt-based sliders are much smoother-looking, meaning that male butts will properly look curvy in screenshots/videos that use them. I know of a certain purple serpent from my gallery that will benefit from this change heavily, in that regard!
One last thing to note: this change is more of a 'behind-the-scenes' one. I've been making an A.E setup on a different computer, and while I'm closing in on finalizing the more foundational things, I still have a few unfinished screenshots that I'd prefer to post while still using my current S.E setup. There likely won't be many more posts that use this old setup, but some of them are too far along for me to feel like it'll be worth redoing through an A.E setup, especially since I haven't even set up posing stuff for A.E yet.
There's technically a lot more to say about the entire ordeal, but I'll cover everything else accordingly in their appropriate places, such as another journal that describes the Devourment + HIMBO process, and direct changes to mods featured in the Google doc. Just wanted to get ahead and write this up now since it likely won't take much longer before I feel ready to implement these changes.
Perhaps one last thing I'll tease: with enough luck, screenshots/videos from the A.E setup will look better than ever, and I'm not talking about solely with regard to the bodies...
"Stay tuned"!

This one stings, but I'll be okay.
Posted 2 years agoWhile I still feel myself fighting back tears, and probably will cry again at some point, I'm going to try my best to edit this journal in the interest of appearing a bit more coherrent. Push comes to shove, I'll probably gradually make edits over time as I think about other things I'd want to say, but I just wanted to express my condolences and grief over his passing, so...not much else to really add or change otherwise.
For those of you who don't know,
bladude53 has passed away.
I can't really say much about the guy as I don't really know him personally, but our interaction on the serpent king upload told me that he was a snake fan, and frankly, that's all you have to be to get on my good side. I deeply lament not being able to keep my promise of posting another upload of the character for someone like him to see, but guess I can still make it up to you guys in the future -- probably sooner rather than later, under these circumstances.
Personally, I think his rock-snake is one of the most badass character designs I've ever seen in my life, and is probably a good indicator of the kinds of monsters I like the most. My only regret is that I couldn't have told him something like this directly -- despite how much I try to respond to people's comments, I can be a bit on the shy side, so compliments like this often go unsaid more often than I should probably let them.
Condolences to the friends closer to him than I was, and all of his loved ones -- I bet he was as great of a guy in real life as he was in this community.
The only thing I can think to really do in memoriam for the time being is leave the serpent king as my featured upload for however long I feel I'd like to keep it there. That spot was initially reserved for whatever upload I was most proud of (and to be fair, that upload is certainly one of my favorites) but I think I would rather use it in this manner for now. Not much of a sendoff in my eyes, but I suppose it's the best I can think to do.
Very few things can drive me to actual tears, to the point where it probably only happens literally once a year or even less, but looks like I'll be breaking that streak today.
That's all. I'll probably won't be completely over this over the next few days - probably even longer - but nothing left to do other than try to move on, I guess. Had an upload planned - both for the main account and alt account - but think I'll need a little bit more time before I feel ready to post anything.
Thanks for reading this, and know this: whether you're an artist yourself, or just a fellow who happens to share my interest, I value each and every one of you more than I can ever hope to convey in sheer words. I'm sure I've said this many times now during my time here, but that feeling only grows stronger with time.

FF14 Content Migration
Posted 3 years agoTo streamline the reasoning as much as possible: I've created an alt account for the Final Fantasy 14 stuff so that people interested in only one of the games I post uploads for need only watch a singular, specific account for the content they'd prefer to see. As that account will feature muscle and musclegut stuff more than anything else, this account will likely feature far more vore and fat characters to compensate; but as per usual, just playing everything by ear so who knows how things will go from here?
To that end, the alt-account will probably be more active than this one, as I'm just a lot more interested in FF14 over Skyrim at the moment, but still plan to upload stuff here too on a preferred monthly basis. I'll also put it this way: at least whenever I'm waiting in a more lengthy queue in FF14, I can brainstorm a gpose idea during that moment of downtime in the form of a snapshot draft at the very minimum -- can't exactly do that in Skyrim, obviously, which requires far more time on my end that I don't really have most days.
Thanks for hanging around either way though! I doubt this will ever become a full-blown passion project that I can devote myself to completely and consistently, but still grateful to have even a single watcher or favorite on anything I've upload so far <3.

The Mod List, Doc-ified
Posted 3 years agoUpdate 10/20/25: Bit overdue, but finally added Community Shaders and CS Light to the list, meanwhile anything relying on ENB has effectively been removed. With the former serving as an open-source alternative to ENB, and the latter a mod that complements it well, this is a change that I'm beyond glad to make to both the list and my setup as ENB has a number of underlying problems, with the developer(s) being the biggest one of all.
By merit of being open-source in a still-thriving modding community, I can only see great things in store for C.S's future!
After delays, bouts of procrastination, amongst other things that pushed back the release of this thing, I can finally present the intended replacement for how I intend to handle my mod list from here on out. Granted, I probably won't add much to the list these days, as most of the kinds of mods I add to my game now are things that usually won't be represented through screenshots and GIFs.
Not much else to say though that hasn't already been said in the first journal intended to show off the list, so feel free to check out the link below for the new format. Just keep in mind that it's more of a "personal" mod list, rather than a "professionally recommended" one, with commentary to boot, so if you don't want to do a lot of reading, beware! Granted, there's nothing stopping you from just clicking the hyperlinks and going on your way, and that's more than fine at that, but I will likely change many things about the document for further convenience. At the very least, I'm just glad to finally have it up for people to view if they so desire.
Recommendations are also welcome! Be it in terms of mods to download myself, or ways I can make the document look better - although I already have a few plans in mind for sure - this list is ultimately here for you, the reader, after all!
