Today marks my one (1) year Anniversary of joining FA.

It took me a while to realize I was actually a part of this fandom and I didn't stumble upon FA until a year ago. It's funny how things work sometimes. I stumbled (or rather Tumbled, lol) across Tumblr while doing an online search for some art, and fondly enough, the same thing happened here with FA.

I hope to continue to bring more of my creativity and person... Whoops! ...fursonality, lol, to this community. I'd like to continue to pursue my hidden art talent by practicing drawing some more and maybe even display my musical talents and abilities as well. And, finally, I hope to help you very talented and gifted artists, you know who you are , with some more commission requests in the future.

Thanks to the 265 or so of you who have put up with me this past year! I am grateful to have met so many wonderful and interesting people, such as yourselves!

There's an old adage that states, "Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back."

I'm not quite sure how that works w/ Pandas, but this inquiring Panda mind would like to know some things and maybe some of you can shed some light on the subject with some feedback.

I would like to know, from those of you out there that currently are or have previously done so...

What initially peaked your interest in wearing a fursuit?
What do you like/dislike about it?
Are there any fursuiters you would recoommend/suggest?

Also...

How many of you have been to Fur Cons?

What are they all about?

What activities does one participate in at these Cons?

What would you say is the ratio between fursuits/non-fursuits?


My main reason for asking is because AnthroCon is being held July 9-12, 2015 in Pittsburgh, PA and I'm curious to know if anyone's ever been there before and whether it's worth checking out. I've been to Pittsburgh before and this is the closest and largest Fur Con that is closest in proximity to me (being only 3-4 hours driving distance away).

So, another year has come and gone. Another year older. Another year wiser. Don't really feel as old I actually am, today. "You're only as old/young as you feel," as the adage goes. Hopefully, this Panda will experience more Zen this year. I'm thankful for all the friends and followers I've met here along the way. With concerns of having to compete w/ Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, DreamWorks Animation has decided to push back the Kung Fu Panda 3 release date from December 23, 2015 to March 18, 2016.

Say it ain't so!

Thanks to all who helped  sumo-griz and  mangoicy with commissions and helping them reach their goal! Now the 2 are finally able to meet for the first time today! BF & GF <3

I had the privilege of being Panda Chauffeur to Mr.  sumo-griz. It was a pleasure meeting him for the first time, as I drove him to the airport as part of his journey to finally meet his love. :D

Would anyone here be interested in watching live stream movies? It's something I'd like to plan out and do as a regular weekly or bi-weekly thing and just have fun watching movies online w/ friends, furs, and anyone else who is interested. We can chat, RP, make commentary during the movie, and just have a good time watching movies and shows.
