I'm gonna start cleaning my Skype and others IM's soon. Haven't done much of that in a while, so I think it's waaaaaay overdue for a clear up guys :3

For people that have me on there, they'll know I'm not really on it much unless it's the afternoon between classes or on my breaks while at work. Lucky if it's for an hour or so. Most of the time I avoid Skype cus I don't know what to say yknow what I mean?

If your fortunate to not be on my Skype by the day is gone, please don't take it personal cus you won't be the only one xD dont worry, it's not you it's me lol. It'll be people that haven't got in contact with me regardless with me being online. I use my phone for Skype, so I don't get notifications when someone comes online, so if I don't see you, that'll be why.

But I know what usually happens when this goes down. People will be like "sorry I didn't talk to you much *insert excuse here*" they'll talk for about a week, then go back to silence. I've had that happen way to much where it just gets annoying.

There should be people that know I'll never delete them no matter how much we don't talk. You know who you are guys, hehe.

So, if you see you've been deleted, this is the journal for you. Don't give me drama over it please that won't go down well with me as people know.

A little intro into the world of FFXIV, not to extreme, just a basic look at the game.

I'd thought i would give a little update on things (for all you that care xD)

As most of you will know (well, only the ones that are friends with me and ingeir) He had to be rushed to A&E last month cus of this massive pain he had in his groin. We found out (after about 7 hours waiting for the docs) that its some sort of blader infection he got. He's pretty much back to normal as of now. He still has to wait on the date for his Ultrasound. Just to make sure all the meds did their job!

For myself, hehe. I've been a little busy with getting things ready for going back to Uni next monday (12th) I was meant to start this monday, but yet again, the damn date changed haha. Its changed like..... 3 times in the past month or so! So lets hope this date is final (bloody better be) I'm fed up of getting ready only to hear it'll be another week. I'll be starting my Masters in Behavioral Psychology with a minor in Child Care (dont ask why im doing the minor) So for the next 2-3 years my new best friend is gonna be the Library xD gonna take a tent in there and just make that my house, hahaha! Sadly this'll mean im gonna be busy (more busy than now) I'll try to make some time to chat I.E sleeping in front of my lappy while on Skype!

Final thing i promise! AS of tomorrow it'll be mine and  ingeir_palar's 2 Year Anniversary! Bloody hell!? Cant believe its been that long. Only feels like it was yesterday i asked him out! Guess time flies when your having fun. Not much planned for it this year, i didnt even get a commission planned for it :O I know right? bad me! We'll probsably just go out tomorrow night to the beach for a meal then walk along the beach at night. Sounds like a good plan to me!

We got everything done with our videos (both of our introduction videos are finished and uploading to YouTube as i type this)

They took a lot longer than we first thought in all honesty ^^;

We're just needing help on giving our YouTube channel a name. We've been thinking about "Zerat&Ingeir" "Dragon's Office" but these all just seem so generic to us.

So if you have any ideas on what we could call it, we would appreciate your input and ideas on this.

So regarding last journal I made, me and Ingeir seas looking for some feedback on the game capture devices we had listed.

The people that commented helped out a great deal. I was doing a lot more research about the 3 listed in the journal.

So in the next few days we're gonna test it out and see how it works on our laptops. Once we know it works perfectly without any problems. I'll get up a list of the things you can expect us to film us playing. Hopefully even a dedicated YouTube channel filled with banter and fun xD

Hey there. Thanks for taking the time to read over this little ordeal of mine

In the next couple of months (just before uni starts up for me) me and  ingeir_palar wanted to do our own game recording on either the PS3 or the Xbox360. Yknow? Just like people like Pewdiepie and all the other Youtubers! Thing is though, I've done a lot of research into the equipment we'll be needing for it. I've got the small things though: Stand alone Mic and a decent HD webcam for visual recording. The last thing to get is the actual recording device.

I've been looking around for about a month now. Trying to find the best one, or even the closest one. I've kinda narrowed the search down to three;

Elgato game capture HD, high definition game recorder
Hauppauge HD PRV 2 gaming edition capture device
Roxio game capture HD Pro

Those are the ones that look pretty good to me. In price and performance.

My question to all you tech furs. Have you ever had any first-hand experience with video game recording? And if so, what can you suggest? Or is there an easier way to record gaming without the hassle of one of these devices?

Any help will be greatly appreciated from both me and Ingeir :-D
