Posted 13 years agoTo those who think I'm a douche because I don't respond to notes, I would like to take the time to explains that I am sorry.
I do read respond to notes, but sometimes I don't for 3 reasons:
1.) I'm kind of busy due to me having a job. I barely have the time to respond due to that.
2.) I admit this is a fault of my own. I have an anxiety problem, and sometimes I am afraid to respond due to the possiblity of me being chewed out and some people hating me.
3.) I am actually more active on DA than FA, but I'll try to pay more attention this site so I can get some things sorted out on both.
Again, I apologize to those who think I am a douche and an asshole. It is not fair to you guys to put up with that. I will try to respond to notes and comments more often next time.

However, there is one thing I need to talk about.
I'm am going to concentrate more on my DA account due to me being a bit more active there. I'm not gonna be that active on FA for a while (probably upload a pic here and there), except for adoptables and some auctions. I do have some pics that I am going to upload here because they are not allowed on DA per the rules, but I might post pics already on DA here as well (except for the Pony pix)
So from here, I once again wish you all a Happy New Year!

Tekken: Blood Vengeance (SLIGHT SPOILERS)
Posted 14 years agoHow long has it been since I did a journal here? A pretty damn long time XD
Okay so I came from the screening of Blood Vengeance with my brother, and I'm going to give you all my 2 cents with little spoilers.
The story is that Xiaoyu was forced by G-Corp to investigate Shin Kamiya, whom G and the Zaibatsu are both after. Alisa is there searching for Shin, and while they initially start off as rivals, they become friends.
Other characters are there, and while a majority of them do get the chance to shine, there are others who are just tacked on there for the sake of screen time and their roles are filled with no explanation. For example Ganryu is apparently the gym teacher at the MPT HS and Lee is a teacher at Shin's school. Both do not fight, and throughout the film it is not explained why Ganryu was a gym instructor or why Lee was even a teacher in the first place. Also Lee doesn't get involved in the G/Mishima conflict in the film; he just serves as a plot device and some other characters also don't seem to recognize him which makes his presence all the more disappointing.
The film had potential for great action scenes, but with the exception of the beginning, the fights between Xiaoyu and Alisa, and the final fights, most of them build up then it suddenly switch back to Xiaoyu's and Alisa's developing friendship and their investigation. I feel the film focuses too much on these 2 characters (and Panda) instead of characters who really deserve it (Such as Jin and Kazuya). When the action and fight scenes do come up, they are really epic and worth seeing, though they get a little cliched at times.
Now onto the voice acting. It is mostly decent, like Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi and the Williams sisters for example, though I really don't like Xiaoyu's voice: she sounds too old, the girl sounds fake in some of her acting, and at times makes Xiaoyu sound somewhat obnoxious in comparison to her more cute personality (IMO they should've got Laura Bailey to voice her). And Lee, I can tell it was probably Doug Erholtz who did him because he sounds so like Hazama from BlazBlue. Another thing is that the actors mispronounce some of the names, like Bosconovitch (Boss-kO-nO-vitch).
Another peeve I have is how much this film contradicts the established game's story and create some plot holes: notably Alisa's fate at the end and the final battle which makes Jin's sacrifice with Azazel in Tekken 6 seem so anticlimatic in comparison.
Overall, I think this is a decent film for some diehard Tekken fans and it has good action scenes, but when it comes to those who are well familiar with the stories and the characters as well as those who barely know the thing about the series, it has potential to be much better than it is.

I'm Sick of this shit...
Posted 15 years agoOkay, so here's the lowdown. I never thought about breaking silence about my personal problems until now, but this has gone on too long.
Long story short, I'm back "home" during the holidays since my college (USF) shut its doors, but I'm tempted to book another flight and get back to Florida, this time for good.
Massachusetts is getting too fucked up. Stuff at our home is starting to disappear. The culprit: my fucking drugged-ass little brother is STEALING stuff and selling it to pawn shops for fucking cigarettes. You think that's bad, here's the fucking kicker: recently, he sold the family's FUCKING AVATAR BLURAY DISK FOR $6!! And he proudly announced that he bought $2 lottery tickets. PATHETIC
You think this is desperation cuz he has no job? Think again. This shit has been going on for almost half a fucking decade, and frankly, as the title says, I'm getting sick of this shit. Because of all this shit, I've locked my fucking bedroom door just to make sure my stuff doesn't disappear and being sold off to some rundown store. And the worse part, all my parents do it give him a slap on the goddamn wrist, telling him not to do it again. For God's sake, they're getting old (my dad's pushing 60), they don't have anywhere near the energy we had as children, and he's freakin' exploiting that!
I'm sick of Mass, I'm sick of Springfield, I'm sick of dealing with the snooty-ass morons that have no common sense and treat others like shit just to boost their imaginary egos, I'm sick of the "gangstas" that pull out a 9 just over a slight disagreement, and most of all, I'm sick of the kleptos snatching up everything I own.
I shouldn't have to lock my ass up in my own room just to keep myself safe. Lucky, when I go back to Florida, I'm gonna find a job, maintain it, and stay there for good.
I had e-fucking-nough of this.

SAI or Gimp?
Posted 15 years agoSo I just recently gave SAI a shot, and I can say its an epic program.
Though I've used Gimp and Inkscape for a while.
SAI's curve tool definitely helps if your tablet doesn't work (like mine T_T). The only thing it doesn't have is an gradient tool
So which program, in your guys' opinion, is better?
