hello everyone!
i finally finished school, so i'm ready to take commissions again.
but this new year came with a few price raises. i know those aren't always fun, but i feel like i've improved enough to justify it (and it isn't that much of a raise, either!). but i've set some limitations to the commissions as well, specifically to comics.

all of you know i do comics, and that my prices are fairly cheap (if you compare it to others, or to the picture's prices, too!). that's because i consider some sor of "bulk price" to them, but the truth is that comics are a lot of work! maybe too much, even! so i've set a minimum of 3 pages per comic. doing 6 panels for the price of a normal pic was just too much work! (and anyone who has done a comic can agree with me on this xD).

also, i'm starting to use a slot system. this is something i had on my head for a LONG time, but never went through with it because i felt super guilty when turning people away, specially because i love working with you, guys! but last year i found myself stressing too much over it, trying to get work done as fast as i could, which is never good for someone dealing with anxiety like myself XP so from now on i'll stick to a limited number of slots. not because i don't want to work with you guys or anything! but so i can be more relaxed.

2016 was a really stressful year for me, so i want to start this one on the right way!

As some of you know, i had planned to open comms again this saturday, but my last final got moved to next wednesday, so i won't be able to open my comms until after that... and with the new years celebrations going on, i don't think i'll be opening them in the following days. i think that january 1st or 2nd is more probably to happen :P

that means i won't be here as much, either, i'll be doing tons of reading and stuff.
i still have some drawings to upload, though! i hope you'll like them :3

usually i don't draw veins on my characters, but that's because i've met a lot of people who are turned off and grossed out by them! i really don't mind, but they do make the characters look more powerful!
should i start to add them on my pics?

on wednesday, december 14th, it will be 2 years since i decided to pick up the pen and start drawing! :D

i usually don't upload art that others have made for me, but for my birthday i got art from friends!
i wasn't really expecting it, because i don't usually tell anybody about it, but it was a nice gesture from them, that made me change my mind about other's art. so today i'll be uploading some of the art i've got! ^^

Sorry guys, but i'll close my comms for longer than i expected. the thing is that i was counting on me finishing the semester this week, since if we get good grades we're allowed to skip the final... but i got this teacher who said that he wouldn't allow anyone to skip it, in the last test he gave a grade so anyone would skip it (for example, we need, in a scale from 1 to 7, a 6 to be allowed to skip it, he would make sure everybody was below 6... me with a 5.9!). as result of this, instead of me starting vacations this week, i have to study for this really hard final, on december 23th.

that is one reason. the other one is that i REALLY want to focus on my own projects. whenever i have commissions open, of course, they're my priority, since someone paid me to work, that's the least thing i can do, right? so i keep pushing aside my own ideas, like "the big life 4" comic and the "pet mansion" visual novel. i really want to finish the big life 4 before 2017 gets here, it's a very important project for me, and i need time to focus on it.

Another, more personal reason, is to practice. i feel like my art is beggining to stagnate, so i'll try to experiment with stuff, and learn, of course! to really push myself i need to close my comms. i can't try new things while working for others! (i mean, if it doesn't turn out good, the client would be offended, and he would have all right to be like that!)

That said, i WILL work on some comms, but only because i had already started them, agreed to do them, or already got paid. but won't take anything new on the list. i hope you guys understand, and i'll still upload some stuff! hopefully the big life 4 comic, and some training pics ;)
oh, and of course, i'll upload something for my 2 years drawing anniversary :P
