Busy busy BUSY!!

That's what my life is at the moment. I've been drawing very little personal work due to being busy with school stuff, commissions and other hobbies so haven't really had time for all the things I'd like to do. Such a rare occasion for me personally. 😅

We had a week long vacation this week but...urgh. Didn't do much since I went to visit my parents and were stuck there for 6 days (omg the BOREDOM) and overall been kinda tired. I have to say I'm glad school continues next week so I'll get back to my usual schedule.

Also excited about attending Tampere Kuplii by 3 weeks with our school crew - this will be my first con I'll be on dealer's den, not just a visitor! We are selling all kinds of stuff there: mainly zines, figures and other self-made merch. 🤩


So yeah. Just thought I'd write something as a tiny sign of me being alive.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYONE!

It's finally Christmas holiday until January 8th! I'm visiting my parents 'till New Year and getting really bored as I don't have much to do here. Drawing has been difficult since I'm not motivated enough to make anything better than some sketches on paper maybe and our computer is so shitty there's no way you could make anything with it other than write something as I'm doing right now.

Guess I need a little break, huh? Afterall, I've been making art a lot since my school began. I've more ideas what to draw than my energy can keep up. 😅

This year has been quite something! Despite all the bad stuff happening in the world, my own life has been better than it's been in ages. I was finally able to move on in many ways - move out, start studying something I'm truly interested in, go to places more often (thanks to my financial situation after selling my apartment) and just...LIVE. I also made new acquaintances, even friends and really wish to meet you guys IRL at some point. I've been quite happy!

Sure there's been downsides along the way too, nothing's ever perfect. My break up from last year has been shadowing my mind quite a lot and I've been very angry at myself about a lot of things I can't fix but trying my hardest to let go. It's a very lonely place to be when you're fighting your own demons and eventually become one yourself. But I take it as a sign of change - hopefully for the better.

Luckily I've my passion project and characters that keep me somewhat sane (and my closest friends too). I know how disappointing it might be for my followers when you suddenly start drawing way different subjects, but unfortunately I must say I've been feeling very distant from furry fandom lately. I still enjoy drawing furry & animal art but I feel like I need something different at this point. I know human art is not very popular here on FA but overall there's been less and less interaction with art it's really sad to see (actually this 'problem' is not only limited to FA, it's everywhere).

But hopefully some people get to enjoy my new art even if it's not anthros or ferals but humanoid OCs - I'm really thriving as I get to see my own skills improve when drawing something I'm not used to! I hardly could see any progress when I only drew animal characters. Also thanks to my school I've learned something new and useful and it makes me want to achieve things I've always dreamed of. It's gonna take a lot of work but I hope I can make it!

Hello! Just thought I'd make a little journal about my personal life atm as it affects my activity in art circles and my comic project.


So, I was accepted in a folk high school and started studying in Comics & Illustration line (+ Visual Arts as our groups were merged together) at the end of August. Thus I moved into a new city and a new apartment which has taken time to adapt since I lived in my old hometown for 16 years (about time I got out of there!! I was finally able to sell my old aparment, wooo!) and all of this happened VERY FAST.

School's been fun and our class is nice but after these 3 weeks I've realized how very little I've been able to concentrate to my own projects, even if I have the time. But yeah, when you're studying time is limited and we already have quite a few things to do so I'm more or less tired after every day and spend my free time doing....something else than drawing. :'D


BUT - I'm still planning my comic project and I'll try to make more storyboard for it. 3rd chapter is in the making, slowly but surely. And of course more furry art is coming whenever I've inspiration to make some!

So, uh, just wanted to notice that my comic project and all other works will be delayed a little for a few weeks. The reason is my labour market training I started this Monday and it's going to continue until the end of March.

After these 3 days I've been very tired already as this is new to me and there's a lot to take in. 💦

Just wanted to make a personal journal again - I hit level 34! Body’s getting older and stiffer but my mind literally hasn’t changed much since I was 26 or something, lol. But yeah, age is just a number, right? (at least I’m a bit wiser now so that’s nice about being in your thirties).

I had a great party beforehand last weekend with my close friends so today (my actual birthday) I’ve just been spending some me-time alone, eating christmas pastries with coffee, snacking some chocolate and watching movies. 🙂

My next comic project is in development but storyboarding has it’s problems and it’s very time consuming. I’d really need some brainstorming help from my friends. 😅

I’m also suffering from seasonal depression/fatigue so it’s been a struggle to get anything done when you’re interested in nothing, feel tired all the time and starting tasks feel difficult. Also it’s getting cold here - winter is coming! My apartment feels like a hecking refridgerator. 🥶

Yeah, hi again! I'm just babbling my own personal thoughts here because I've been thinking about posting all of my new art on this account only since I've found my second account to be a bit useless (has less followers, faves, watches, comments) and it feels like extra work to keep up. Not to mention do people even find it properly? Is it hard to associate the art on another account belonging to a certain artist?


A little history behind my 2nd account for adult art: Before FA had an option to make folders for your art, it was difficult to separate SFW and NSFW content (unless you use the tool in the upper right corner to hide all NSFW content which I personally never remember to use). This was a nuisance for me personally because I wanted to keep my gallery somewhat clean and organized so I decided to move all my NSFW art to their own secondary account and remove it from my main gallery which I wanted to keep as SFW back then. Of course it also caused a loss of many MANY comments & favorites which wasn't a nice thing but what could you do. 🤷‍♂️

Things have obviously changed since then and I've changed - I don't find NSFW art to be a problem anymore and I honestly don't give a fuck if someone doesn't like it if they see it on my account - you can always either turn around or use the option to hide it. My art is for those who share the same interests, whether it's SFW or NSFW. There's everything for everyone and you don't have to like everything - just don't be a dick about it.

I had "a phase", if you will, when I didn't want to draw or even SEE any porn. I was disturbed, I was not well. It's all different nowadays.


I actually have a question for my followers too if you want to partake into my ramblings: What do you think of second accounts for porn/fetish art? Is it a good thing or do you find it a little confusing/impractical? Would it be better to just post whatever you make on one account so it'd be easier to find and link to the artist?

And no, there's no "right" or "wrong" answer to this. I'm just curious what people think and prefer. :)

Yeah, hello! I'm very bored at the moment and in somekind of 'Sunday coma' so I thought I'd write something about my current life status in case someone doesn't follow me on Twitter (not that I tweet much of my personal life there either but...eh).

You probably have already noticed (or not) I haven't been very active posting pictures here and whenever I have it's lately been a lot of human/humanoid art of my own original characters or fanart for others as it was Art Fight last month. I've gotten a huge inspiration and motivation to practice drawing humans since the beginning of April after watching some anime and seeing a lot of interesting OC art from people I hang out with on a finnish Discord chat for artists.

It's really funny because I couldn't have ever imagined getting this enthusiastic about something I've always disliked drawing before and I never found human art interesting when I was younger. It's not even that long ago when I still was talking to my close friend something like "I don't really care about roleplaying humans, that's so boring" and "drawing humans is so fucking HARD". The last one is still true though but I'm now willing to learn!

And now look at me - I actually have a humanoid comic project going on which consumes a big slice of my time and interest, so it's one of the reasons I've been kinda busy and not drawing furry stuff as much. The other reasons being my mental health & other personal aspects that haven't been great for some time and probably not getting any better anytime soon considering the odds AND the last reason - I started learning Japanese! 175 day streak on Duolingo, woop!

So yes, expect more human art from me in the near future - if you don't like it, you may unfollow me. Of course I'm still making some furry stuff also but as it's not my main interest anymore it might vary. And yes, I'm still learning and it might not be the best looking art but boy, am I ever having FUN with it! Haven't been this inspired in a long time. :)
