A fellow fur died doing his job as a paramedic..(Not Ottawa)
General | Posted 13 years agoI would first want to say that sadly i never knew Lemonadecoyote yet the proximity to one of my close friends got me real hard..I am just like that...
He was a paramedic and died trying to save lives....The last person he tweeted was one of my greatest friends and somehow someway it just hit me hard...Thinking of how fast your life can snap and takes the loves ones you shearish....My taught goes to his famely and to my friend that was planing to visit him on a nice road trip to the us....
Right now all i can listen to is Mad-World Gary Jules and holding my brown bunny and just sadening on how mutch screams of pain is going thue his famely and close friends......
And to a certain yellow horse paramedic out there in Ottawa.....Be safe okay?

So.......
Hmmm.... I guest alot have happens sins last we talk haven't it?
The first thing i could say is that my fater is now back in perfect shape from his heart attack. Another thing i can say is i wont get my house in September from my sister as someone needed the house more then me. And so came the fact that i have about a 5 digest amount of money that is fully mine and i have no dets, no car and own nothing to no one money wise.
So here i am whit all this money and wonder: I am 25 year old, i have this and been having this feeling of getting away for years and so it hit me.
Europe 2 months (Or even more) trip
At first it was just Paris and that it, this city that i love and dream and could easely call my mental home.But then a companion came in and all of a sudden i said to myself, why only paris.And so a 2 months and maybe even more, trip via all Europe is now plan.
All will be via hostel and whit a Global train pass that alows me acces to 24 countries for a total of 12 traveling days anytime during 2 months and its a prety sweet deal.So yeah, il desepear at around may of 2014 and maybe il even stay there as il have a work/visit pass for people between 18 to 30 =3
So yeah there is a small chance that i might get employed full time as a social worker in new zealon to! =)
But yeah all is up for grabs now as my BA in social work open me more doors then i taught =) And about that BA it will be done December of this year =)
Any people know europens fur ? =)
Basiquely me and my companion are NOT seeking shelter whatsoever O.O We will basiquely have enough money to last TWICE all are expenses over there as we will relly to 0 people to get this done. Why i ask is to basiquely get perhaps in contact to know nice things to do in there country like Germany, France, England, Iceland, Italy etc etc etc and maybe meet them but are parcourt except Paris for the first week will be the flowing.
*Wakes up in the morning...Hmm...lets go to Rome for no yiffing reason and go to Berlin the next day =D

All of you should realize that if you aint do what you wish to accomplish now that is 60 years youl be very dead and sorry to say but there is nothing after. Nothing, i say to freaking live NOW!!!!! Il get a house regardless when il be back because of the studies i did. I say if you aint have a house yet or car or dets think REAL HARD at what you would like to do before you get cripel on house payments car payments and will not be allow to take more then lets say 3 or even 4 weeks in a straight go. After you realise what it is i say that if you can manage to do it whit LOTS of effort then DO IT NOW!!!!So a 2 months and maybe even longer trip all via Europe will be my thing as i skipped alot of cons in my yought and regret it as i could have easely made them in a snap, but a full out Euro Trip of this length is not something that alot of people will be able to tell they did on there death beds.
Trust me people, close your eyes and when youl open them back youl be old and immobile in a bed and crying over all you haven't done, or do your dreams and die whit potentially a smile or your face. Live now or regret a loooonnnggggg time O.o

General | Posted 13 years agoSo the very good news is that my semester is over and i feel like il pass all my clases no problem =D!
And that also i only need two more classes and my coop and i am DONE! Whit university =)
Ick is is that for those who know me there was a weight on are family for a wild that my mother would have to maybe have to be operated to her stomach. It passed from yes we operate to no we operate and today the final judgement from the docter came in.
Its yes =(
Why i am sad is that it is not and easy operation and that there are some risk. Not of death but of serious healf complications...
Thankfully my famely are VERY close to one another and even my fater that is divorced from my mom for several years is supporting me my sister and my mom in all of this witch makes me thanks the heavens again to having a united family that cares for each other. Just to give you a clear example they simply shrugged when i came out and told me to have fun and be safe.
So yeah i am definitely a worried coon =(
Operation date should be set by 8 of January.

General | Posted 13 years agoSo i had this whoole week end set off months agao...Coworker got burnout had one week to get it all out...
-Got saturday and sunday and so will be able to make it for when it starts (9am) will arive at 8:30 am there.
The ick is....They dint get me friday iff.
Now to some that would mean (Hey no problem youl make it right?)
But here is when a coon gets really...really..really mad at himself
-FIRST! A ride was set up for me for friday at 4ish PM.
RIGHT THERE!!!!! This basiquely trwos it off the window and so is and insult to the ride and thoose that planned that ride as i dint manage to get time off....
SECOND: I had people WAITHING FOR ME on friday night right there is another insult as it was my JOB and RESPONSABILITY to at least be there to thank them and at least socialise whit them on that night. This wont happend as as soon as il be off the bus il be straight to where i am required to be.
I am right now extremely pist...and especialy towards myself.... All the friends i talk to so far say, well its not your fault. IT FEALS MY FAULT >_____<!!!!! i never in my intire life felt more GUILTY about not being at a place on said time....
Dont get me wrong il be dead happy when il be there and doing what is expected of me but still... Il still feal the burden that i just fuck up....

Filming is hapening ariund this location Talbot St, Brampton, ON and i am wondering if anyone i know that lives in toronto lives around there and would not mind having a coon on the 23 and 24 of november ^^,,,
i know its short notice as i juts got the full go for the project ^^,,,
so if any of you would like to help a coon or have him over and that we at least know eatchother a bit that would be lovely =D
I am a SUPER CLEAN coon and very social but il mostly be sleeping filming a day and then its back to ottawa for me ^^,,,,,,

General | Posted 13 years agoSo i called my fater this morning like all the time before i go visit him twice like everyday and god the news that he is having his leave from hospital.
TODAY!!!
Yeap =3 He already walks so nice distances in the hospital and so mutch more then i taught he could =D
Here is a small list of recovery milage that he will have to follow.
1-no work until one month
2-No full out heavy sport until 3 weeks
3-no drinving until 10 days
And
4-In about a year he should be in even better shape then before sins his arteries are now unplug so he will make the olimpics 83
Just kiding on the olympic part xD
So yeah good news in all =D

Fater had and heart attack (Update)
General | Posted 13 years agoOkay, i been waiting that i was all calm and such and i think that now is good.
First of all, my fater is alive.
Here what happend
-On tuesday night my fater whent to play badminton like everyday exept this time i was not there as i was in vacation in toronto for 20 days. To give you and idea of my fater healf, he does badminton 3 times a day and does a run almost EVERYDAY and eat rather healfy compare to most people i know.
So at around 8 PM he started to feal real bad and got the usual sindromes of a heart attack, hand gething thingely nausia spinning head. He then said to his friends that he was having problem whit his heart and said that he was going to the hospital. He tried to get off the bench he was sithing on and then blackout.
Heart attack
He fell to the floor and here is the interesthing part. My fater have a friend that about a month ago this friend was at a cotage and sawn a cyclie fall down (Heart attack) but sadly he dint manage to save him even whit RCR.
When he sawn my dad fall he said to himself (I wont let this one slip this time) My fater heart stoped and was reanimated by this man.
In the ambulance my fater heart stop 2 times and reanimated twice and one more time on the operathing table.
(What was wrong)
He had:
- 1 heart artery fully blocked another at 90% and another one at 30% and again my dad is considered a model for is age and docter think its genetic and i am gething tested soon to see if i will need metal spings in my heart arteries like they put in my fater arteries.
THIS WAS NO SMALL HEART ATTACK
-The docter and nurse where clear, this was one of the WORST HARDEST heart attack you can get. My fater was not able to make it thrue that but his actual healf might have saved his life period.
WHAT HAPPEND ON MY SIDE
Well got a call in toronto canaceled my whole trip and went straight back to ottawa the next day. A MASIVE thanks to
happyfoxnick and 
Mr_Dad
to have been there for me and to have give me the ride to toronto.
I sawn my dad yesterday he was tired and all wired but he is doing a miraculus recovery from what the nurse said and could be out of the hospital by friday. (Amazing i know)
There is tons more to say but i think il end there.

O crap O.o.....Quebec election
General | Posted 13 years agoSo the prime minister of Quebec is going to start to the election tomorow witch means election day will be on september 4.
Again..This is QUEBEC election.
Why this is a HOLLY CRAP MOMENT
Well if you dont live in quebec this should not mather that mutch but it might.
Quebec right now is in a HUGE SOCIAL CRYSIS. If you aint know what i am talking about it is normal as provincial news aint intend to get out of provinces exept when someone gets cut to peices :S
Basiquely we have the lowest schooling feas in canada and the governement (Provincial) to double that amount brigning it up from 2400$ a year to 4800$ witch still is the lowets feas in canada.
The problem is that the value of afordeble schooling is raging up and student and people want to freeze it to the 2400$ mark.

Why? I do my schooling in toronto ottawa and i am not directly concern but i have a vot e so i must think about it.
In other words. All hell will breack down as the population is divide in two in that debate. Some are STRONGLY againts and some STRONGLY for the raise of the tusion fees.

UPDATE FCD WARNING WEATHER!!!!!!

This may be a close one just like last year.
Right now the weather predicts that there will be a lot of sun whit a bit of clouds.
BUT!!!!! There is a small chance but still present that there will be ISOLATED STORMS.

What does that mean.
1-Starthing from midnight il be looking at the live weather maps that shows exactly where there shall be storms.
2-If by any bad luck there is a storm that will happens between 1:30 and about 3PM the event will be CANCELED do to RAIN. As fursuits can be HEAVELY damage. There is no B plans if it rains so everyone must make sure that they have a B plans of there own.
3-It is sad that the event is so much weather sensitive but i cannot be held liable of thousand of dollars of damage to very expensive fursuits. I hope you will understand if il have to cancel the event but i sure hope that we shall be lucky again this year =D

For maybe two years now, and more recently 2weeks ago, i have the feeling of being <<Late>> in life.
Here is some context.
-I just turned 25 about 19 days ago.
-I am a graduated from a very renown coledge of Ottawa in social working field and will graduated from university in social working aswell in a year and a half.
-I live at my mothers house
-I been having a carreer job in my field (Social work) for soon to be 4 years now as i got that job right after i graduated from coledge.
-I have 0$ of student det and own 0$ to any credit compagnie or famely or friends of any sort and i have a saving of about 4 digits.(Do to the fact that i took the financial desition to stay at my mothers place to not get into det)
Now.....
I feal that i am late in life.....Recently i learned that one of my good friend that is 23 is gething a house whit his boyfriend after being in a apartement for i think 2 years.
And here i am at age 25 and i never owned a apartement and nither a house.
The good news is that after finishing university il be able to manage to get a very small house/Condo that il be able to own all to myself and pay by myself.
But this brings me to about 27 years of life....26 if i am very lucky...
(MY QUESTIONS ARE)
1-Do you bealeve that there is such a thing as (Being late) in life?
2-Do you think that by reading my situation that i am late in life?
3-Do you think that there is any social meter that says that at age (x) you must have a car at age (x) you must have a house and before age (x) you must have a shild?
I could finish this journal by saying that there is one thing that i aint feal late and surely never will and that is for having shildrens.
People that know me know that i want shildrens and for thoose that dint knew already i am gay. And il make this fast and simple. If a single mother or father has enought love to raise a shild by its own then a loving famely of two mothers or faters can. I will fight so that the teachers and shools will know how to integrate this reality in there school and that years before il be able to hold my first shild in my hand and cry like a baby that i became a fater and that i will have undyng love and protection for this shild even daught it might not be my blood, to me it is who raise you that are your real parents.
(WHAT I MEAN IS)
Only become a fater when all your life is set. Have a job.Have savings, have a house. Love yourself. Love your life. And only then think of gething a shild (Adopt or conceive one)
If you happend to become a fater and you dint expect it daught then that il all alright as life surprise us sometimes. It is not because all your life is set that you will be a better fater then the one that dint expected it and it is the same for the other way around.
And i would like to resend my admiration for a certain ball of fur that i see at FE everyyear whit his daugther and just seing him raising her so wonderfully and how he present furs and people to her. Your my modle man(You know who you are)
Until then il keep having this dream where i see what i think is my son being in a ballet show and i am cheering at the end being so proud he is my son and my daugther that ask me if she can become a trucker when she will get older and that il know il do all my best that she will be able to gain her dream.
If there is one thing that i miss in life it is to have other friends that wishes to become parents and to have this talk whit them and whit other men that love mens and to talk about the hard time that there will be in front of us to be able to become parents. There are alot of shildrens out there that has no more famelies o to so many sad reason and i know that i can be a good and loving
And carring fater.

UPDATE!!! (WARNING!) Furry Canada Day

We are only a week away from Canada Day and here are some litle updates =)
WEATHER
As of now there seam to be a risk of rain on Canada Day so remember...IF IT RAINS THE EVENT WILL BE CANCEL.
For reason that rain can destroy fursuits and cause thoulsan of damage to them. So make sure to check for updates and if you know anyone that will go to the event and is not watching this FA make sure to point then to this =p
WHAT HAPPENDS AFTER THE MEET AND BEFORE THE FIREWORKS
I got alot of notes concerning what will happend after the meet. The original call is that it is everyone for themselfs as there is no lunch organise or anithing as the event when it was created 5 years ago only consisted of one fursuit and two friends and sins got way bigger.
People may have plans of there own and if you get invited then go ahead but do respect the fact that friends might just want to eat whit there close friends and there close friends only.
Now what may interest you is that after the end of the meet there will be a tarp that will be set on where we shall watch the fireworks on quebec side.
BUT BEWARE
This is in no way a place that you could leave your things and leave and that can be ensure that your things will be kept safe. The tarp is made so you dont get yourself wet on the grass and is a comodity. If you leave your things unetended they might get STOLEN.
DRUGS AND ALCOHOL
If you are doing any type of drugs on the tarp you will be ask to LEAVE as we do not want to be afiliated whit any type of iligal consomations. Alcohol, there are plenty of places to drink during Canada day but to what i know alcohol is iligal do drink in public so just dont do it as being arested by a cop is in no way nice. Drinking and eathing anithing else on the tarp is alright aslong as you dont make a mess and respect the other furs and fursuithers that will be there and if you spill or drop anithing just be kind and clean it up folks =p
A LITLE HELP NEEDED
The one thing that has not yet been secure is who would carry the giant blue tarp that we will use. i managed to get it in a lugage that can be carry on weals easely. What il end up doing is relly on any helping hands to carry it a bit during the meet so that everyone will be able to enjoy it automatiquely this year =)

MUST READ IF YOU WILL ATEMP!!!!
Alright as it seams that there will be yet again a good bunch of new faces this year i think it is important to warn you that.
FURRY CANADA DAY IS WEATHER DEPENDENT!!!
So what does that means?
This basiquely means that if its start to rain on the day of Canada Day more presisely near the time of the walk then that the event WILL BE CANCELED IF IT RAINS.
Now why is that? The answer is quite simple, alot of the people that will be there have Fursuits some on them costing several hundreds if not thoulsan of dollars or and have great value to there owners eyes. Some of them even have paint brush witch washed away do to rain and then ruin and DESTROYS the fursuit.
It is a risk and it would really be greteble that it rains but for the last 5 years we have been lucky and now uses real type weather maps from the weather channel website to call the go or no go of the event.
As of the long time prediction on the weather channell we have to this day A FULL GO for FCD whit a nice sunshine but this is a 11 day prediction that can change.
In the last days (2/3) before the event il post frequent weather updates and the final roll call should be done one or two hours BEFORE THE EVENT.
So make sure to check the folowing website for ottawa web site frequently.

A WORD FOR THE FURSUITHERS!!!!!!!
If this is your first Canada Day and you have a fursuit you should read the folowing WARNINGS about Canada Day.
Canada day is the IRON MAN of fursuithing, harder then cons and harder then a full summer day for the following reasons.
-At cons people dontbreally rush for your fursuit as everyone has one at Canada Day you will have about 150 000 PEOPLES that will all rush to get pictures whit you witch will create a buble and people WONT LET YOU MOVE!! Witch will make you stay still and gain several degres of heat in a litle time.
-Make sure that you ither have a wather bag or botle or a friend that can give you water. ALOT of water!!! As you will need it.
-HEAT!!!! FCD happends during one of the most HOTEST days of summer. Wind can help but is never garanty. You must know your limits and must take the posibility that the event may become to warm for you on the day itself and be ready to take your head off for colling down.

Alright as it seams that there will be yet again a good bunch of new faces this year i think it is important to warn you that.
FURRY CANADA DAY IS WEATHER DEPENDENT!!!
So what does that means?
This basiquely means that if its start to rain on the day of Canada Day more presisely near the time of the walk then that the event WILL BE CANCELED IF IT RAINS.
Now why is that? The answer is quite simple, alot of the people that will be there have Fursuits some on them costing several hundreds if not thoulsan of dollars or and have great value to there owners eyes. Some of them even have paint brush witch washed away do to rain and then ruin and DESTROYS the fursuit.
It is a risk and it would really be greteble that it rains but for the last 5 years we have been lucky and now uses real type weather maps from the weather channel website to call the go or no go of the event.
As of the long time prediction on the weather channell we have to this day A FULL GO for FCD whit a nice sunshine but this is a 11 day prediction that can change.
In the last days (2/3) before the event il post frequent weather updates and the final roll call should be done one or two hours BEFORE THE EVENT.

A WORD FOR THE FURSUITHERS!!!!!!!
If this is your first Canada Day and you have a fursuit you should read the folowing WARNINGS about Canada Day.
Canada day is the IRON MAN of fursuithing, harder then cons and harder then a full summer day for the following reasons.
-At cons people dontbreally rush for your fursuit as everyone has one at Canada Day you will have about 150 000 PEOPLES that will all rush to get pictures whit you witch will create a buble and people WONT LET YOU MOVE!! Witch will make you stay still and gain several degres of heat in a litle time.
-Make sure that you ither have a wather bag or botle or a friend that can give you water. ALOT of water!!! As you will need it.
-HEAT!!!! FCD happends during one of the most HOTEST days of summer. Wind can help but is never garanty. You must know your limits and must take the posibility that the event may become to warm for you on the day itself and be ready to take your head off for colling down.
