So i opened the news today and learned that the last figthing Canadian force are finaly in the sky and on there way.

I never did understand this war or the deaths count on ither sides ither Canadians or talibans. They always where deaths to me =\

At least for now i can finely go on my knees and sight a realeaf knowing that none of the people i knew died there.

They got hurt, physicly and psycologicli. But at least they are still alive. I asume that my only request that i did everyear on memorial day to never have to come here to remember a friend that died in war got granted at least for now...




To all of my military friends out there. I might not understand why you are doing this and may questions the motives of the mision but you are friends that i care about neverless.

Just try to be safe and out of harms ways.

Hello there everyone =D!!!!

This is only a small report on FCD as we are slowly cleaning up everything here at the HQ but things seems to have gone well =D

-The weather was nice although a little to hot but we had nice blue skies with some small clouds here and there which made it Perfect =D

-The walk this year was even faster than last year! One hour shorter. Although it was smaller it was never the less fun and seemed to have lasted a good amount of time from the initial feedback that we got.

-We saw lots of crazies but luckily none of them were from our group, and the health and security of everyone in the event ended up just fine =D

-The firerworks went awesome too! We had a good spot this year clear of any trees. Also, the tarp ended up being very usefull! Although it could had arived sooner which will be something that we will work on for next year at FCD 2012 =D!!!!!!!

First i would like to thanks all of my roomates of this year witch will never be again as many as we where ^^,,, 7 O.o

It was my second AC this year and Dam was it good =D

I managed to do all the litle things i wished to do such as:

-Hang out whit friends

-Dance at the raves in suit =3

-Meet breifly some amazing cool furs and friends such as  FirestormSix,  Skroy,  howiepup,  Deoge and so many more =D

-Was also lucky to had the chance to have a very improv conversation whit Uncle Kage as i went to book in on wensday night he was right behind me xD I said to him :The nightmare begins does it ; ): He replied to me saying :You have no idea xD: As he face pawn himself xD



Ac to me is always a con that i am mostly alone all the time. Not because i have no one to hang whit that xD O god ^^,,,, So many new stalkers that i dint knew who they where ^^,,,,,, Its because i like it that way =3 Beside couple couple of Nice dinner whit Sam and my traditional AC Dinner arival on wensday and the first breackfast on thursday =3


I mostly like to do it that way as i can allow myself complete freedom whit what i want to do at all times and also alows me to observe the con in general. To watch (But not stalk) a bunch of furs in a common area just minding my busines and look how everyone interacts.


I am a social worker for gods sakes ^^,,,, Mass public interactions is one of the things that facinates me the most =D


For example, how furs interact in and out of the convention center and how their behavior change as they go furter and furter away from the convention center.


You guys and girls are such and amazing bunch to just watch and listen to =3 For me i just scream and run in circle and making no cence ^^,,,,,

Soyeah =D Lots have happend but il keap to myself the 20 page AC report for my own personal fun ; )

I am right now sithing outside and its 11:30pm and i am relaxing on a confterble chair on my mothers balcony. The night is absolutely dark and there is a nice and slow cooling breeze in the air...

This hapiness that this moment provide is unique aswell as my birthday, yet, a birthday for me remind me of another mather.

24 lived, and so fiew to go... Whit luck, maybe 56 years to go?



It is sad that when you realise and fully grasp your imortalety and the fact that you only live once that you start living life as mutch as you can and then....you realise that you are here for such such a litle time.

I am at 24 years old, here now, wishing that i could live so many more years, so many more lives, just to learn so many things, so many people...




Indeed this feal so injust, yet again would living forever be the solution? Would we live so fully?

And 80 years whit luck is not that bad when you think that some dies at 12...


I hope in my special way, that the most of you are grasping the fragility of life.


2 weeks ago i took a breackfast whit a 29 year old man that made me smile ofthen.

Hours later i found him dead in a bathub. And anivresum kild him in a fraction of a second.

This year was closse call when it came to making it for AC on the work apect of it ^^,,,

As the place i work always work on minimum staff <One social worker per shift> I had to find myself people who where willing o aacep to take my shift.

Untill this very morning i had no luck! Even using the 8 other peoples that we have on call o.o..





BUT NOW!!!! I am a VERY HAPPY COON that will go get his bus ticket for AC tomorow =D

And for thoose who wonders

AC INFO:

-And should arive aroung 5 pm ish on WENSDAY and will leave MONDAY around 1 to 3 pm =3

For the fourth year in a row, Furry Canada Day returns again!


When: 1st July 2011
Where: Start at Supreme Court at 2PM until the end of fireworks at 10:05PM
Why: Be proud! Be furry! Be Canadian! Be yourself!


Furry Canada Day is our annual way of celebrating Canada's birthday with a furry twist.

For the past three years, we've gathered in downtown Ottawa to help make Canada Day a little more special for everyone.

Your mission is simple, should you chose to accept it: walk from the Supreme Court to
the National Art Gallery, followed by a meal, and finally regroup for fireworks.
What's different from 2010:


Last year, we had designated some wonderful volunteers to help the event run smoothly.


This time around, we won't be picking anyone specifically, but everyone is welcome to
help out.


T-Shirts:

This years, we'll be selling t-shirts! The shirts red, with a twhite paw on the right side of the body. They will be sold for about $24. If you want one, let us know right away!

We're only making enough to cover orders, so we won't have any extras.




Psst... We've have a secret:

For those who plan on coming, we'll be giving out a limited number of Canadian flags
decorated with paws for free. There will be a very limited number, so its first come first
serve.



Do you have a suit?

For those of you that are either fursuiter or a spotter, you know how much of a hassle itis to get suited up then commute to the event location. That's why, this year, we're settingup an apartment for use as a staging area for suiters. If you need a place close to
downtown to suit up or unsuit, its perfect. The fursuit HQ is located a 3 minute walk
from the Hurdman bus station, or a 20 minute walk from downtown.


!!!!!!!!!!IMPORTANT!!!!!!: The Fursuit HQ is for fursuiters and spotters ONLY since we're expecting a large number of suiters. We will need all the space we can get. Unless you make otherarrangements, the Fursuit HQ is not for overnight use.

We'll be stocking up on water bottles and healthy snacks, so you can stay on your feet longer.



Food Guide

We want to make your experience at this annual meet better and better every year.

Oneof the biggest complaints we received last year was that the supper wasn't organized very well. This time around, we're going to try and make it a bit easier to get some grub between the walk and the fireworks.

As we will get closer to Canada Day, we'll be printing a guide on where to eat and kill
time before the fireworks. If you have any suggestions, let us know!
Wait, we had how many people?

The third annual Canada Day furry meet was a great success last year with over 75 furs showing up in total, with 57 at one time.



This year we're hoping to:

• Get more then 7 fursuiters on the hill***
• Beat 75 cumulative furs
• Beat 57 furs at the same time***

Why you want to be a part of the team:

-First off, you'll have the Canada Day crew official thanks. You will be what keeps the
memory going for many, many months to come.
-Secondly, you will be fed. (Free Food!)
-Who do we want?

We'll be selecting four people to join the elite ranks of the Furry Canada Day Camera
Crew. If you want to be a part of the team, you'll need your own camera (video or still), a willingness to take lots of pictures and some super-awesome photography skills! (The last requirement is optional. We're desperate. We'll take anyone with a camera. Really.)

Even though spots on the official team are limited, we still encourage everyone to take lots of pictures and to drop by the Photo Collection area after the walk.




Events at Canada Day

There are two main events planned for this year, the walk and the fireworks.

The Walk, starting at 2:00 PM:

1. We will walk from the Supreme Court to Parliament Hill and then there shall be
pictures, laughs and hanging out. The official group picture will be taken on Parliament
Hill.

2. Afterwards the walk will bring us to the National Art Gallery, about 5 minutes
walking distance from Parliament Hill where we'll take a break, and where we'll
be collecting everyone's photos.

3. Break for food, drink and unsuiting.
The Fireworks, starting around 9:00 PM:

4. After eating, meet up on the Quebec side of the river, at the Museum of Civilization.
There will be a nice big tarp set up for us before everyone arrives, but
you're welcome to bring folding chairs or other seating since space fills up quick.

First i would like to apologies to everyone for the masive confusion that hapened today as i take FULL responsibilities for any confusion and agravasion.

The meet was indeed today as when i wroted do to <<sun>> i ment the actual Sun thatwas shynning. I reallise how i wrote it was confusing and the meet did happend and had a turnout of 3 suiters whit and extremely short notice but after 30 minuts as we where walking to get the 2 other suiter its started raining and so the meet ended ^^,,,,,,

Fir the future i ensure you that details shall be more precise and therewill now be extremely presice weater warning as we have a fur that has acces to a very acurate weater radar and that will be able to give us presice data.

Again i am deeply really really really REALLY sorry for any trouble that all this confusion have may cause and will give personal apologies to anyone that desirer them =/

Like i said in a earlier post, here is and update on the weather

So far it isannouce that there is a 87% chance of STRONG RAINFALL TOMOROW.

So that means that is by tomorow 8 am (8 in the morning) that the weather aint seam to be gething beater the fursuit meet WILL BE CANCELED as warned on the previus post.

There is still a chance for it to happend if the weater gets better but MAKE SURE to watch and updated post on this post about it.

Sorry for anyone that would have got really exited to come but rain, especialy heavy rain, really aint match well whit fursuit and hair brushing O.o.... It basiquely destroys them ^^,,,,

Well since its that time of the year again =D

Ottawa FURSUIT SEASON 2011!!! (Summer part =3)

So! This year first fursuit meet will be held at the usual location which is war memorial!!! For those who don’t know where it is, its quite near parliament hill and Rideau and can easily be found via google search =3



The time??? 1PM! Or 13:00 for 24 hours clock =3

DATE??? April 23 (Saturday)

Fursuit??? Its called a fursuit meet for a reason xD



READ THIS PART!!!!!!! So far there is rain announced for Saturday but hopefully that will change before then. If it rains on Saturday, the meet WILL BE CANCELED! We recommend that you check this post often as the day of the meet gets closer and the day itself as I will update it with the weather update =)

For those who never been at a furry meet, just know that you are ALL WELCOME!!!!!! And NO you don’t need a fursuit to come at a furry meet xD A LOT of us don’t have suit =3 For me, I’ll be the giant running raccoon and don’t be shy to come chat whit me =D!!!
