Professor Summer vs Zeus! ~ NFL Pick Em Showdown ~ Week 7
General | Posted 5 years agoWith a couple of foolish picks made last week, I finally lose my first game in 5 weeks. Let's get back to even this week, shall we?
CURRENT SCORE
Summer: 2
Zeus: 1
PICK 1
~Buffalo Bills cover against the New York Jets (-10.0)
The Bills are just one game ahead my Phins right now. They just had some tough losses against the AFC Elite. I believe they will continue to punish an Adam Gase led Jets team to aid them on their quest to get Trevor Lawrence. A perfect bounceback game for the Bills. They should cover this spread easily if they play smart football. Biggest spread of the week, sure, but I don't care!
RESULT: Bills 18 Jets 10 (WRONG)
The Jets are starting to care about their failed season? Good thing the Bills felt that playoff births are more important than ruining the Jets chances at getting the number one pick. Very disappointed with the Bills inability to get in the end zone ALL DAY.
PICK 2
~Green Bay Packers cover against the Houston Texans (-3.5)
This seems like a gimme pick of the week to me. The Packers are looking to bounce back after TOMpa Bay destroyed them. The Texans have proven to be a mediocre defense at best. Packers feast on bad teams, so while the Texans DID take the Titans down to the wire, I will attribute that to the fact that it was a division game.
RESULT: Packers 35 Texans 20 (WIN)
Easy pick. The Texans are tanking hard now, which is BETTER for my Phins with their picks for 2021 draft.
PICK 3
~Atlanta Falcons cover against the Detroit Lions (-2.5)
The Falcons are playing better at long last. With a new, interim coach at the helm, I expect they will continue to play hard for him. I don't believe the Lions will be able to keep pace in a shootout type of a game, especially on the road.
RESULT: FAIL-cons 22 Lions 23
FUCKING FALCONS! THREE TIMES IN ONE SEASON!? AAAAAAAAAAAAH! They'll never have my respect again, much like the Browns.
Overall: The skunk and I tie this week. I had a golden opportunity to tie the series back at 2, but squandered it in two games I felt so good in. Ah well, always next week.
Unofficial gut reaction picks below. NO SPREAD CONSIDERED! (Current Record 45-25). Bolded picks are ones that came true. Italicized is wrong picks.
Chargers over Jaguars ( I really wanted to pick this game. But that 7.5 spread scares me. If it was just 6.5 instead, I'd have taken them. The Jaguars are really bad, and I expect another excellent game over the Jaguars. At the same time, the Chargers are notorious for playing to the level of their weaker competition)
Bengals over Browns (This is strictly a revenge pick for disappointment last week. The Browns SHOULD win, but I think they keep Joe Burrow around too long and he can win the game in the end)
Titans over Steelers (PONE'S GAME OF THE WEEK) (The Titans can take control of the AFC if they can knock this potent threat. I believe they can in a squeaker, last drive type of scenario)
Saints over Panthers (Panthers have been up and down all year. I think the Saints still have their number)
Cowboys over Washington (Last week proved that the nameless team is the worst in the putrid division. Baring a meltdown from the offense again, the Cowboys should win and keep ahead of the Eagles)
Buccaneers over Raiders (While I LOVE to think the Bucs can lay another egg on the road, their defense will bail them out. The Raiders clam up against good defenses and that will be the reason they lose)
Chiefs over Broncos (Will be closer than we all think, but Broncos are too banged up to ride on an upset win last week to beat the Champs)
Patriots over 49ners (Bill Belichick never loses 3 in a row. I was tempted to pick them, but I'm calling the Pats out again. I hope they prove me right and sink to 2 below .500. FUCK THE PATS)
Cardinals over Seahawks (UPSET OF THE WEEK) (This will be the first game the Hawks lose all year. Division games are always tough in this division. Cards pull out a squeaker win)
Bears over Rams (Basically, it all comes down to defense. I think the Rams won't be ready to counter the Bears front 7. They shall lose ground in the playoff race and be on the way back to .500 when they visit my Phins next week. >:) )

Professor Summer vs Zeus! ~ NFL Pick Em Showdown ~ Week 6
General | Posted 5 years agoHad a better showing last week, but so did Summer! We both went 2-1 and for the third week in a row, we have tied. This is turning into quite the golf level of match play with all these ties. Hopefully this is the week I can pull ahead of the busty skunkette.
CURRENT SCORE
Summer: 1
Zeus: 1
PICK 1
~Tennessee Titans cover against the Houston Texans (-3.5)
The Titans looked stronger than ever, beating a top AFC team on their home turf. I think the allure and magic of a new head coaching change for the Texans will dissipate this week. The Texans defense is still very mediocre, and will give up a bunch of big plays to a play action heavy offense. If the Titans continue to commit little mistakes and penalties, this game will be over by the 4th quarter.
RESULT: Titans 42 Texans 36 (OT - WIN)
Very stressful game, but the better team clearly won. The Titans are certainly in the hunt not only for the division crown, but also getting the 1 seed in the AFC this year. It's a 5 way race now between the Bills, Chiefs, Ravens, Titans, and Steelers.
PICK 2 (UPSET OF THE WEEK)
~Cleveland Browns outright beat the Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5)
This may be a crazy pick, but I'm counting that this is an important division game to simply grant the Steelers the easy win. I think the Steelers will be finally tested for the first time. The Browns are streaking right now. If they can continue to run the ball well and make enough plays on defense to pressure Big Ben, the Browns can certainly win in a shootout against the Steelers.
RESULT: Steelers 38 Browns 7 (LOSS)
The last time I will trust the Browns to win a big game like this. They are not contending for the division crown, clearly. They'll be fighting for the wild card spots, which they certainly have the talent to do.
PICK 3
~Los Angeles Rams cover against the San Francisco 49ners (-3.0)
Poor 49ners. Their are suffering from a massive Super Bowl hangover unlike anything I've witnessed before. This team is demoralized and hurt. The Rams are going to make sure they repeat what my Phins this last week. This game will probably stay close initially, but I see the Rams pulling away in the second half. For goodness sake, the 49ners are starting to not believe in Jimmy G anymore!
RESULT: 49ners 24 Rams 16 (LOSS)
Going to eat my words hard. The 49ners decided to still care about this season and beat up a division foe! Jimmy G likely saved his future with a bounce back win like this. I feel better about my Phins giving the Rams a good game in a couple weeks.
Overall: For the first time in 5 weeks, I lose to Summer. I have to take more caution when it comes to division games and previous history. I think I'll bounce back next week!
Unofficial gut reaction picks below. NO SPREAD CONSIDERED! (Current Record 38-20). Bolded picks are ones that came true. Italicized is wrong picks.
Lions over Jaguars (Time for Sacksonville to tank for Trevor)
Dolphins over Jets (If the Phins lose this game, I'm going to lose it. There is NO excuse to have a set back this week. This Jets team is destined for one lucky win at best)
Colts over Bengals (Bounceback game for the Colts. The Bengals should seriously consider benching Joe Burrow before he gets more killed out there)
Vikings over Falcons (No team is going 0-16, but this isn't the week for the Falcons to get a win. It's going to be a long season for them)
Patriots over Broncos (Freebie win for Bellicheat. New QB's never do well against him. Should be a blowout)
(SO GLAD TO BE WRONG HERE!)
Giants over Washington (I think the G-men finally get it done this week! They're not going 0-16 either)
Ravens over Eagles (The wheels will continue to fall off the bus in Philly. Ravens are too deep)
Bears over Panthers (Bears D will win this game. Panthers win streak will snap tonight)
Packers over Bucs (Tom Brady will continue to age by the game. They are a playoff team, but they won't beat these contenders. I think they lose a heartbreaker here)
Bills over Chiefs (I think the Bills can bounce back and shock the defending champs on their home turf)
Cowboys over Cardinals (Don't count out Andy Dalton. They are playing for a fallen QB. Probably one of the last of their winnable games outside their dreadful division)

Professor Summer vs Zeus! ~ NFL Pick Em Showdown ~ Week 5
General | Posted 5 years agoLast week, I went 1-1-1. The Bucs let me down in securing the covering win. But hey, the Skunk herself didn't do as well last week too. We're still tied up in the overall season after 4 weeks of action. Let's see what the remaining 13 weeks bring us.
CURRENT SCORE

PICK 1
~Minnesota Vikings beat the spread against the Seattle Seahawks (+7.0)
The Vikings got a huge boost in confidence by beating the Texans last week. I think, still in desperation mode, they will make this game closer than what Vegas thinks. Russel Wilson has been playing out his mind, but he's beatable. Just ask the Dolphins last week how he did.
RESULT: Vikings 26 Seahawks 27 (WIN)
While the Seahawks are indeed a legit super bowl contender, I don't think they have the ability to blowout teams with their streaky nature during games. Glad I was proven right. I do feel bad the Vikings waited until Week 4 to start being competitive. It might be too late now for them to turn their season around.
PICK 2
~Washington Football team beats the spread against the LA Rams (+7.0)
The REDACTED team may be quite pitiful on offense, but the can still keep games close. I'm just banking on another west coast team struggling on the east coast at 1 PM, much like what the Chargers did last week. I think the Rams are a bit overrated, and will struggle against an actually solid front 7.
RESULT: Washington 10 Rams 30 (LOSS)
Annnnnnnnd, the bad teams are proving why they are bad. This offense is hurt and quite awful to watch. Even their defense is banged up. I just hope their coach can battle his sickness and turn this franchise around. REDACTED isn't going anywhere this year.
PICK 3 (UPSET OF THE WEEK)
~Miami Dolphins outright beat the 49ners! (+9.0)
This spread is far too large for a beaten and injured team like the 49ners. My Phins gave Russel Wilson all he could handled for 3.5 quarters. If Fitzmagic can be a relatively clean game this Sunday, I can see the Phins keeping this close again. Even if he stinks it up for a half, perhaps Flores can put in Tua in the second half to salvage the spread.
RESULT: Phins 43 49ners 17
THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!! The Phins are finally gelling and getting healthier. Their next 6 games are all winnable, so if they win at least 5 of them, they have a legit shot at a wild card birth when going through that touch final 4 game stretch. PHINS UP BABY!!!!!

CURRENT SCORE

PICK 1
~Buffalo Bills cover against the Las Vegas Raiders (-3.0)
The Raiders really disappointed me last week with a horrendous rush defense, exposed against those dreaded Pats. I think it'll be deja vu this week. I think the Bills have toughened up from a near loss last week, and they should certainly take care of business against an overrated team. This may be high scoring, since the Bills D has been lackluster so far this season, only feasting on the Jets before two bad weeks in a row. We'll see what happens!
RESULT: Bills 30 Raiders 23 (WIN)
Good thing I was able to call out the Raiders for what they were. Bills should definitely take an early 2 game lead in the AFC East with a likely Pats defeat on Monday.
PICK 2
~TOMpa Bay Bucs cover against the Chargers (-7.0)
Rolling the dice with a high spread this week, but I'm banking on the whole trend of west coast games being sluggish on the road when on the east coast. The Bucs are trending upwards, while the Chargers looked bad against a talent depleted Panthers team last week. The Bucs defense is definitely underrated. This should be over by the 4th quarter I hope!
RESULT: Bucs 38 Chargers 31 (TIE! THUS ITS WRONG)
The Chargers came out to play today. They made this matchup far more entertaining than I thought it would be. Bucs are winning the games they are supposed to, while Hebert is clearly going through some growing pains. He's definitely going to be a QB to watch.
PICK 3
~Jacksonville Jaguars BEAT the spread, and defeat the Cincinnati Bengals (-2.5)
I think the Bengals are still to young and underdeveloped to blow out a team like the Jaguars. The Jags aren't tanking yet, so a win here keeps pace with the division leader for now. Minshew is still on a mission to be the franchise QB for this team. James Robinson is quite underrated as well, so I think he'll have a nice day against the Bengals. This game is definitely a toss up, and I hope the Jags bounce back!
RESULT: Jags 25 Bengals 33 (WRONG)
Last time I'm picking the Jags all season long. If I were them, it's probably time to start gunning for a top 5 pick. If Minshew can't outperform Burrow, you need to replace him in the draft. We'll see how they develop the rest of the season.

General | Posted 5 years agoFrom getting EVERY pick wrong in week 1, to having a clean sheet in week 2, what a way to get back into the ball game! Let's see if I can make this success last for my second week in a row. Let's get to picks!
CURRENT SCORE

PICK 1
~Tennessee Titans cover against the Minnesota Vikings (-2.5)
This is the tale of two teams trending in opposite directions. The Vikings offense is among the worst in the league this year, while the Titans have been pretty well balanced overall. Ryan Tannehill is a better QB than people give him credit for. Give me the more experienced coach and roster, please! This game should be well decided by the 4th quarter in my opinion.
RESULT: Titans 31 Vikings 30 (LOSS)
Welp. The Titans continue to win nailbiters. I should have known better than to discount the desperation of a formerly 0-2 team. Ah well, we'll have more defined matchups soon enough!
PICK 2
~TOMpa Bay Bucs cover against the Denver Broncos (-5.5)
Denver is simply way too injured to put up a fight against a relatively healthy and talented team. I see this Bucs team getting better as the season goes on. While playing at Mile High Stadium is rough for visiting teams, I think the Bucs will get ahead to a large enough start to not worry about this team putting up a threat to ruin the score in garbage time. As much as I hate Tom Brady still, it's hard to pick against him when the team is facing the bottom third of the league.
RESULT: Bucs 28 Broncos 10 (WIN)
This really should have been my lock of the week. The Broncos are just way too hurt to be competitive in this league this year. They'll have a top 5 pick in the draft for 2021. Tampa is certainly getting into form now!
PICK 3 (LOCK OF THE WEEK)
~Arizona Cardinals cover against the Detroit Lions (-5.5)
Arizona's offense is looking red hot after the first two weeks. The Detroit Lions have such a bad defense by giving up over 27 points in the first two games. Give me the hot team any day. I think Matt Patricia's time in Detriot will end before the season is over. Plus, I am all in on the Kyler Murray hype. I loved watching him play at Oklahoma, and know he will be a future stud in the year as long as he stays healthy.
RESULT: Cardinals 23 Lions 26 (LOSS)
And now my trust in the Cardinals are dead. They'll be a fringe playoff team I believe. Kyler Murray needs to have games like this to learn and get better from. This win just delays the inevitable for the Lions though.
Unofficial gut reaction picks below. NO SPREAD CONSIDERED! (Current Record 17-8). Bolded picks are ones that came true. Italicized is wrong picks.
Dolphins over Jaguars (Fitzmagic showed up again! Good to see my Phins get their first one. I picked this game on paper before kickoff yesterday, so I'm counting it as my unofficial pick)
Bears over Falcons (No team will psychologically recover from a collapse like that in a week. The Falcons will go into tank mode after going 0-3.)
Bills over Rams (The Bills are for real. And I don't trust west coast teams doing well on the east coast unless they are playing bad teams)
Browns over Washington (Until Washington shows they have an offense, I'm picking the Browns to light them up. A loss here is purely on Baker in my opinion)
Raiders over Pats (UPSET OF THE WEEK) (Because fuck the Pats. I think the Raiders will use the high from their big win to propel them in a close win in Foxboro)
49ners over Giants (Too much backup talent on the 49ners to prevent them from losing to a team that lost their entire offensive identity)
Bengals over Eagles (The Eagles may be the better coached team, but I full believe Joe Burrow is good enough to win in a shootout with the Eagles)
Texans over Steelers (The Texans are in desperation mode. After facing a brutal opening two games, it doesn't get any easier. Steelers tend to fall flat in a game like this at some point in the season. Why not this week?)
Colts over Jets (Come on, it's the Jets. They are going to have their head coach fired once Miami sweeps them this year)
Chargers over Panthers (No McCaffree, no offense. The Chargers will win easily this week against a depleted Panthers team)
Seahawks over Cowboys (The Cowgirls deserve to be 0-3. They are the definition of underwhelming and talent wasters. What a joke they are.)
Packers over Saints (Saints got exposed last week. I think the Packers are playing too good on both sides of the ball to let their momentum go to waste)
Ravens over Chiefs (Early preview of a likely AFC title game. This will be just like the Seahawks/Pats game last week. Whoever has the ball last will win)

Professor Summer vs Zeus! ~ NFL Pick Em Showdown ~ Week 2
General | Posted 5 years agoSo, last week I came stumbling out of the gates. All three of my confident picks whiffed. Who knew the so called "garbage" teams would rise up and take down overrated squads? But now that I have a better idea of what to expect this week, let's shift our attention forward getting back on track this week, evening up the score!
CURRENT SCORE
Summer: 1
Zeus: 0
PICK 1
~Green Bay Packers beat and cover against Detroit Lions (-6.5)
Yes, this is another high spread I'm going with this week, but I am more confident about it than I was with Colts and Eagles last week. The Lions gave up 20+ points to a mediocre Bears offense last week. Aaron Rodgers dropped 40+ on a decent Vikings defense last week. The Packers are playing at home, with the buzz and consistency of having their team together from last year's deep playoff run. I think the Packers are clearly the better team here, and will not let the Lions build up points in garbage time to ruin the spread.
RESULT: Packers 42 Lions 21 Thank goodness the Lions did not capitalize on a hot start to this game. The better teams always manage to find way to overcome adversity. The Packers are definitely the real deal so far. They should be able to win the NFC North again this year.
PICK 2 (LOCK OF THE WEEK)
~Los Angeles Rams outright beat the Philadelphia Eagles (+1)
I am shocked the Eagles are favored after that week 1 disaster to the Washington Football Team. The Rams should be feeling really good to make an example of the Eagles in their home stadium. While it is true the trip across the country is usually hell for west coast teams, I just think the Rams will pull out the win late and really start turning some heads for Philly fans. The Cowboys should be singing their praises that their division continues to be hot garbage this year.
RESULT: Rams 37 Eagles 19. This game was over by halftime. The Eagles are a complete mess of a team right now. They will be lucky to win the division this year at this rate, let alone finish above .500. The Rams are definitely looking more like the Super Bowl team of a couple years ago. NFC West truly looks unstoppable.
PICK 3 (PONE'S GAME OF THE WEEK)
~Seattle Seahawks beat and cover the spread against the New England Patriots (-3.5)
Again, this is probably dumb of me, but I'm calling out Bellicheat yet again this week. This is a game I circled on the Patriots calendar to lose. The Seattle defense can contain Cam Newton and force him to throw. Once he does, Newton will struggle for sure. I don't think the depleted New England defense will hang with the high caliber offense of the Seahawks. Everyone still gets up to deliver their best against the fading dynasty. And I fully expect the Seahawks to punish the Patriots for visiting their home stadium, even without the 12th man. It may get close late, but I don't see this coming down to a field goal. It'll likely be a last minute Patriots drive to cut the lead down to like 27-21, before they won't score again.
RESULT: Pats 30 Hawks 35. THIS GAME WAS WAY TOO CLOSE DAMMIT! So glad the Pats lose in this fashion. Hopefully it rattles them to start more losing throughout the year. Probably the last game I'll pick them unless it's to win against the hapless Jets.
Unofficial gut reaction picks below. NO SPREAD CONSIDERED! (Current Record 8-5). Bolded picks are ones that came true. Italicized is wrong picks.
Titans over Jaguars (Closer than what people think and spread suggests, but the Titans will pull away late with their experience and team chemistry)
Bills over Dolphins (I refuse to believe in the Dolphins offense until Tua is ready to start. Should be a close game regardless)
Cowboys over Falcons (Easy bounceback game for the Cowboys. They looked bad last week, they'll turn it up this week against a putrid defense)
Vikings over Colts (You cannot trust Rivers to win games late)
49ners over Jets (Full convinced the Jets will be competing for the number 1 pick this year)
Steelers over Broncos (Big Ben is back and will continue to lead the Steelers back to relevance)
Bucs over Panthers (Tom Brady took a lot of heat and will not disappoint in front of his home fans. They'll bounce back)
Cardinals over Washington (Two young teams. One is further along than the other. Cardinals will squeak this out)
Chiefs over Chargers (Chargers barely survived a rookie QB debut. They'll get rolled by the number 1 squad in the league)
Ravens over Texans (AFC's number two team should be too much for a team lacking enough power on either side of the ball to dominate)
Saints over Raiders (High scoring game for sure, but I trust the Saints more even on the road.)
UPSET OF THE WEEK
Giants over Bears (Sorry Bears. Your organization is in a bad place right now. You should have lost last week. This will be a bad loss at home for you guys)

Professor Summer vs Zeus! ~ NFL Pick Em Showdown ~ Week 1
General | Posted 5 years agoHello everyone! Welcome to football season, my absolute favorite time of the year. Thank the Football Gods that Corona-Chan hasn't ruined this moment for a country that certainly needs something positive going for it lately.
But anyway, I recently decided to make a very fun bet with a good friend, Summer.
summer The winner will have quite a lewd surprise waiting at the end of it all, naturally.~
All season long, I am going to be picking 3 NFL games a week. It works like this.
- We'll be tallying head to head wins. If I get more picks right than Summer does, I win a point that week. If we tie, then no one gets a point for that week and we start fresh the following week.
PICK 1 (LOCK of the week!)
~Indianapolis Colts (-8.0) defeat Jacksonville Jaguars and cover!
This one is a no brainer. Lack of off season training, along with the complete destruction of the "Sacksonville" defense, and an unproven QB leading the way for the Jags. It's hard to expect anything from the Jaguars all season, even when playing at home in the Florida heat. I trust Phillip Rivers to take hold of this young and talented team, making an example of this tanking franchise. It's the biggest spread of Week 1, but because it IS Week 1, I think blowouts are more likely to happen. Minshew Mania better not screw me over with garbage time points.
RESULT: Jags 27 Colts 20 - LOSS
So not only were the Colts absolutely over-hyped, but I also severely underestimated Minshew's ability to be a starting QB. Then again, it could just be that the better team was too damn rusty for week 1. I don't expect the Jags to do well at all this year regardless, but who knows? Crazier things have happened with teams supposed to tank. Look at my Phins last year!
PICK 2
~Philadelphia Eagles (-5.5) defeat Washington Football Team and cover!
While the Washington D is certainly picking up steam after a decent offseason and draft pick acquisitions, there is far more talent to be worried about with the Eagles. I just don't see Washington putting up more than 10-13 points all game. Carson Wentz is due for a bounce back year, and dismantling a division foe seems like a great way to start that off. I also have zero faith in the worst run franchise in North American sports, even if a guy as likable as Ron Rivera is at the helm.
RESULT: Washington 27 Eagles 17 - LOSS
This one stung even more. After a dominant first half, the Eagles went to sleep and their battered roster showed their weakness far too early. The Eagles had everything in their favor honestly, with a Super Bowl winning head coach and quality QB. I think it's time to seriously question both of those things. This was a flat out embarrassing loss for the Eagles. But, at the same time, I am happy Ron Rivera is slowly changing that terrible culture in DC. I will gladly pick this team to lose against other teams outside the division though.
PICK 3 (UPSET special of the week!)
~Miami Dolphins (+6.5) defeat New England Patriots outright or beat the spread in a loss.
And because I'm feeling rather confident, why not? The Patriots will have to deal with a QB that's VERY different that the GOAT, while the Dolphins have gotten better on both sides of the ball. Fitzmagic beat them last year and he can certainly do it again against this depleted Pats Defense. It might be really stupid to doubt Bellicheat's ability to coach up no names into stars, but the Dolphins know how to handle the Patriots. They stop the run and force Cam to throw like Brady did, they'll end up punting more often as the Dolphins secondary is actually pretty good this year. Even if the Patriots win, I can't see them doing so except on a go ahead TD or FG in the 4th quarter.
RESULT: Pats 21 Phins 11
Simply put, the Dolphins offense was outright vanilla and awful. Any momentum they were trying to build was sapped by 3 terribly timed interceptions by Fitztragic, and the injury to Devante Parker in the 2nd half. I still am hopeful this team will perform better as the year goes along, but goes to show how great Bellicheat still is of a coach. He can truly make his units click together. They played a rather clean game while Miami's youth and lack of cohesion with their new players did too many mistakes. I am not convinced by the Pats though. They won't win the division this year! I look forward to revenge when they visit Miami, hopefully with Tua playing this time.
Alright, the picks are in! Looking forward for a competition of fun against my sexy, skunk rival all season long. <3
Unofficial gut reaction picks below. NO SPREAD CONSIDERED! (Current Record 8-5). Bolded picks are ones that came true. Italicized is wrong picks.
Chiefs > Texans (Mahomes wasn't going to let the Texans ruin their title defense week 1.)
Bills > Jets (Bills are the clear frontrunners for the division crown, hands down)
Vikings > Packers (Guess the experts were WRONG on last year being a fluke for the Packers)
Ravens > Browns (Browns are worse than I thought. Then again, new coach. Hopefully they get better)
Raiders > Panthers (Way closer than I thought it'd be)
Lions > Bears (This was going to be a correct pick if the receiver didn't drop the TD pass at the end. What rotten luck)
Seahawks > Falcons (Going to be another long year for Atlanta
49ners > Cardinals (Cardinals are for real this year. They may very well contend for the division crown
Saints > Bucs ( How many people are hoping off the super bowl train for Tampa Bay this week? TB12 definitely looks old now)
Cowboys > Rams (THEY CHOKED! Never trust the Cowboys! UGH)
Steelers > Giants (The Steelers are back, baby!)
Titans > Broncos (Nailbiter, but the more cohesive, better coached team pulled out in the end. Happy for the Titans. Broncos should be fine overall)
Upset of the Week
Bengals over Chargers (Good outing for Joe Burrow, but not enough to handle a simply more talented team)
