Huh, SL Contemplation: To Second life or not to second life?
General | Posted 12 years agoSooooooo, back in the days of crappy internet and single core CPU computers. SL was hot stuff, it still is even, incredibly system demanding, social opportunities, home scripting possibilities, and 3D modelling options, all in a user created world. The concept is good actually, there's even a furry fan base there with framework that goes back into the mid 2000's. It's where I met a lot of my furry friends, and talk a lot with em, but lately, it's not what it used to be. At least to me.
Call this drama or what you will, and don't get me wrong, it's fun playing with a doll base version of my fursona, dress up, to hair styles, all that. A chance to play your sona. But I've been at it since 2008, and I don't RP there anymore, never learned to script, need to learn to 3D model for unique content, and lately my friends stay quiet on there and don't bug me for anything. Now you see it, because I log in to be social, and no one is up for it, I see no reason to stay. I also calculated that I was spending up to 30 hours each week on there. Crazy.
I think this is just me being burnt out on it, or growing up, or something, but for whatever reason I'm not getting much out of the metaverse. So as of now, I'm on SecondLife hiatus. If you see me logged in, it's just to be strictly social.

Artist wanted! Adult and normal pics.
General | Posted 12 years agoSo I want to do some art commissioning! But with whom do I ask to portray my character, do any of my friends want to go halvies on a 2+character piece?
Any takers, artists of various styles welcome of course.
I really do have to ask because everywhere I look, "commissions closed". So with that I offer the opportunity for 2 maybe 3 artists to showcase their work. Comment here or PM me, either way, cheers.

The art raffle, do it for science, do it for art n' stuff
General | Posted 13 years agoSo I follow a ton of artists, almost if not ever enter the raffles that float around so frequently, so why not enter for once. :p
This one artist I've followed for a while, JasenTamiia has been doing some pretty cool kink based art for years now and now that the time is right, enter in this shiz! Do it, do it for science
JasenTamiia is the artist in question, some neat unique digital art. The recent work is actually lightly based on the Portal game, although robots freak me out a little, it's fun to watch a bio-organism go to full on mechanical being.
Entering for the art raffle, do some linking, maybe some tipping if your generous, but at least have a look at his work :3
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11043642/ <- is page one of the Kinky Science Incentive
Robots, they're out to test your body n stuff, they're all too logical. :b

Bronies bro, bronies D: & an update
General | Posted 13 years agoYou know, I know the whole pony phenomenon is quite popular internationally now. And Some of my things that I like are taboo, so who am I to judge, but just know, that when anyone talks brony to me, offers pony porn, any of it, the whole lot of it......my ind is not thinking about you, or your words and I'm most likely going to think of something exactly the opposite, like a tire fire, or a super hero comedy George Bush jr., or maybe just change the conversation, I don't want your dang dirty hooves! XD

-I'm switching rides, even though it's a hand-me-down from family, it's a lot better than my 01 ford taurus $hit box. I'm getting a 01 Jeep Grand Cherokke 4.7L :D

Techno mancer tool #1 AKA New computer :D
General | Posted 13 years agoSo having long been overdue for this post, in the modern world of, well whatever is cutting edge, I've done it. I've got a competitive computer under my control. Nice little doomsday machine too.
The wonderwaffle:
Asus G55 RS71 15 inch laptop
CPU: Intel i7 q3610
GPU: Nvidia GTX 660 M
RAM: personal upgrade away from 8 GB ddr3 to 32 gigs of corsair ddr3 1600
Storage: 500 GB spinning hard drive removed /replaced with OCZ vertex 3 240gb
NIC: Intel ultimate N 6300, 3rd antenna
standard dvd burner
Win7 ultimate
Perks: 2 cooling fans instead of one, artic silver 5 heat compound on the CPU and GPU, back-lit keyboard, USB 3.0, thunderbolt jack
Frankly it beats the snot from my old 15 inch dell that only had a Intel Duo core, 4 gb of ram and a nvidia gt 7800. It's like someone duct-taped a cheetah to a honey badger. But the fans never get audible, barely gets hot, never has dropped below 30 FPS on any games in any setting so far (don't ask because I no longer have money for your games >.>), and frankly is just a monster, 8 to 9 second start up time, most things load within the 3 to 4 second mark or quicker. It's like giving meth+crack(is whack)+23 energy drinks to a 5 year old fast. Not that you should give a 5 year old any drugs, I don't do that or encourage it, they're hyper enough as it is. But it's a bomb. Downside, for a laptop a tad heavy, but overall good 2 hour gaming and 4 hour just doing stuff battery life. Also, just because it's got some decent parts, gaming is primarily done through the cpu and gpu so a SLI or crossfire machine will eat this alive, but for application running, this can keep up.
On top of that, I pony'd up and got rid of my dsl and got fiber optic. So 1.4mbps down and 640kbps up to a maximum 150kbps down and 65kbps up.
Regularly it runs 60 down and 65 up, often the upload is faster than the download :D
For the inner nerd that's a lot of gaming, for the perv that's a lot of porn. Just porn, so much porn..........THERE"S TOO MUCH PORN FOR ONE PERSON TO COVER D:
Lol jk, I'm enjoying the blitz of technology that I now wield.
Gamers hit me, come on hit meh.

Trip of da lifetime! Alaska and then some!
General | Posted 13 years agoOkay so much needed update.
Yea I had cancer, and you know what.....beat it.....that's a journey right there. But did that and still rocking, Exercise every day, I'm putting some mileage on my bike. That and my legs are talking to me letting me know that they're still young.
Okay so the real trip, I went to Alaska on a family vacation. Haven't done that for about a decade. Flew into Anchorage, rented a car, stayed there for a night, drove to Denali, stayed there for a night, did a tour through Denali National Park. Stayed there again for the night, did a small aircraft flight tour around Mt. McKinley AKA Denali, which stands for "The High One" I've never seen anything so jaw dropping. :o Went to fairbanks, stayed there. And then drove back. And a 6 hour glacial boat tour (3 story boat with 4 out door decks.
AND I SAW OTTERS! About 200+ otters at that.
So what do you do when you have a older brother that you know is strait, has a girl friend. And you find out that he's done it with guys, and has a furaffinity account, and has a Zeta. XD I don't know but when we were in Fairbanks, we went drinking together and I found out all that. Epic Win.
So all in all, an amazing trip, and I'm just too lazy or have been too lazy to upload the thousands of pictures I took.
I also stayed in Seattle with my mate for a week after. My family went home and I stayed in Seattle. Well I'm home now, and sleeping happily in my own bed.
D: I have to unpack
OH!!!!~~~~!!!!!..... :) I'm back in college. Community, because you know why? If you've gone to a 4 year, chances are your parents are in debt for the rest of their lives and you are too. So you know what, f*ck that, I only pay 2k for a semester including books. Choke on that banks! It starts in September.

The 1 year, I'm getting what's mine!
General | Posted 14 years agoI'm sure those who've been through college and have failed causing 1 extra semester say first "F*ck!" really loud, then they sort of feel like the world left em behind for a semester.
Well yea, I'm a year behind so 2 semesters, yay. Regaurdless about a year ago, sorta out of the blue found out I had a uber rare, not fun, highly agressive cancer. And I said "F*uck!" really loud, a lot. Annnnnnnyways, I came, I saw, I kicked it's ugly little malignant face into the dirt, beat a stage 4 cancer, and will be concluding treatment entirely in, well, this month :D, a lot of :D :D :D :d fffffffff. Whatever.
Anyways in the famous words of Cartman "Screw you guys I'm going home." Well not home, I'm going to the wild er, I guess wild state of Alaska, getting some R&R this summer, probably going to spend some time in Seattle after that, come home, and oh yea, going to be jumping ships from a 5 year old Dell that's gone through a record 5 hard drives, 1 motherboard, 1 power supply cable, 1 battery, 1 NIC, and about 50+ hours dealing with dell's international and barely English (sorry English is my only language obscure middle eastern dell phone technician), for an otherwise substantially better laptop. Lets say Falcon Northwest, or Alienware, or Asus's top tier 15. inch gaming laptop the G53SX series. So I'm getting mine this year, are you getting yours?
Cause it's MINE FOO!

Uh durrrrr?
General | Posted 14 years agoYou know what, I'm tired, I'm beaten by days of being stuck in an apartment, and I slacked.
I so didn't do all the drawing I thought, but heh, I still have time.
So yea, my favorites list has been dead for a while, and nothing but kinky stuff, anyways. Since I've been gone, my appetite for art has changed dramatically, I still enjoy what I used to, but from a sketching perspective, I have much more respect and just trying to develop my form and facial proportions >.> hands ok cool, legs yea, pose un, background I can if I want, but facial structure, I fall fat on the unfinished face.
I know artists say don't give in and all, but first hurdle to overcome.but I'll do what I need to do and keep chugging.

Blam bitc%es, back from the dead
General | Posted 14 years agoI'm not dead yet, infact just a lurker these days. my old post is old now. But my perspective is that of Steve Jobs 05' Stanford speech on death. You must face death, or to understand it, in order to know what you really want to persue in life. Nough lame talk.
Update is, I'm alive, done chemotherapy, cancer is about 90% to 95% gone, rest we take out with some radiation. Woot I get to sit in a human microwave. So for those who know my situation, enjoy the update and know I am well, for the rest, take a lesson, every petty thing you've fumed over, if you where to die in a week, would it really matter, and then.....what would matter?
My answer, make peace, find love, do something rediculous and slightly crazy without ignoring your intuition, and eat a meal that you enjoy, then eat something healthy later on (or vice versa), cause you never know when that food will taste bad to you, so enjoy it.
The wolf is not dead, nature could not kill me, mid 90's unsafe SUV's couldn't kill me, chemotherapy couldn't kill me, my own body having some sort of cellular civil war of cancer couldn't kill me, I'M BACK BITCHES!
Btw, future commission coming from a friend, he's in limbo dealing with stuff, but I'll eventually have a character sheet, whooOOOoo.
Also, I'm not home, stuck in Baltimore, so fun, free time, g4tv, and I'm starting to draw, well sketch, maybe I'll get something decent enough to post.

I have cacner
General | Posted 15 years agoYea the title is about as sudden as I found out. So much for the bulge in my abdomen being gas or a back up. I'm fighting to no end and whatnot, I have too many friends, things to do, people to rock out with. But apparently adrenal cancer is a bit rare or whatever, so a surgery, some treatment, and some luck things get better. Odd that I never knew, oh well.
