So, I keep seeing these bulk "YCH" sales, where an artist has one pose and just fills in two different people. Same exact pose, same expressions, same background. And people buy the hell out of them, so an artist makes a lot of money from essentially drawing one thing. Just color swap, maybe tweak to have boobs or a penis, and there you go!
I don't know why, but things like this BOTHER me. I will not say that it is lazy, because humans try to find the easiest way to get things done, and this certainly seems to be effective. However, I WILL say that I will not get anything like that done. I am a stickler, so if I get art done, I like for it to be an original. Something from my mind, or even a YCH that only has one purchase slot.
So... Artists, don't take this as me putting you down, cause you are only human, and if it works, it works. I am just saying that things like that are not my personal cup of tea. Some people like it, because it means they get their art faster, but... I am a patient guy. Just ask the artist who STILL owes me art after... Six years now... I think? Wait... Five.. It's been five years.

So, TLDR: I don't like "color/gender swap" YCH deals, but am not going to coplmain about it because it works for other people. I like my stuff to be original, and understand that it allows art to get done faster and makes people happy as well.
Not my cup of tea, but not bad, even if I don't fully understand it.

So, my boyfriend's dog passed away yesterday morning 4/29/2017. It happened sometime between 4am and 7am.
It was rather sudden that everything happened... On the 23rd,  demondragon noticed that the dog seemed to have a busted lip, though he was kinda clumsy sometimes, so it came as no surprise and we did not think much of it. On the 25th, his lower lip was swollen and red, looking infected, so a vet visit was immediately scheduled.
We took him in on the 27th, and it was identified as a mouth tumor, something that the vet said is very aggressive. It could be treated, but she would have to remove a large piece of his jaw to do it, just to make sure that it was gone. However, given his age, she said that it was likely that it would come back, and could even spread throughput his body, and he'd be in constant pain then, so... The options were take the jaw and risk worse condition, or put him down... We decided to take a moment to think it over, and so, he was given an antibiotic shot and a steroid that were supposed to make him feel better. However...

On the 28th, we went to check on him and see how he was doing, and he was just laying behind his house, unable to move his legs. He didn't bark as he usually did nor did he wag his tail, but just whined and laid there. He was drinking, and after some water, he perked up and would move his legs and even insist on being petted.
That evening, we went to see if he had perhaps moved or become more active, only to find that he had not. He was not even lifting his head to properly drink, and every breath was a low whine, so we got him a smaller bowl to drink from, and I stayed for about an hour or so, refilling it and petting him. He seemed to be doing a bit better. Between three and four in the morning, I went out to check on him again, and he was still just laying there, whining, and clearly uncomfortable. I just had a feeling that he would not make it to Monday, but I hoped that he would, and he'd get better.
However, that night, I did not sleep, and at seven in the 19th, I went out to give him more water and saw that he had moved, but was still laying down, so I was kinda excited. He was up! He was moving! He was going to get better, So I went over and called his name. But he did not move. So I went closer and saw that he was just looking ahead, and it didn't dawn on me until I stopped to see that he was not even breathing.

So... With no sleep, I got a shovel and started digging in the back yard. It took about four hours, but the hole was deep enough and  demondragon's sister's boyfriend came to help toward the end, but... There were so many roots to hack through, but he has a good view where he was buried, and me...? My back hurts, arms, shoulders... But it was worth it. He had a good, long life from we THINK about 2000-ish to 2017.
He was pretty close to seventeen years old, and he was definitely a good dog.

About that!
I applied for unemployment and it was denied, as expected, so I appealed it.
It got redundant fast. They sent me a letter to let me know that I would be receiving a letter to let me know that they were going to call on 5/9/2017, only I have to call them to let them know that they can call me. Now, my previous supervisor presented evidence to confirm that I had violated company policy so that I CANNOT apply for unemployment, but what she provided, I think, won my case. See, where I was working, there was "after call", time taken between calls before an agent sets himself or herself back into the queue to take another call. that is supposed to be checked weekly. However, while all the supervisors were checking weekly, mine was checking daily, meaning that agents were written up daily.

THAT is a key thing, however, because one of the forms is a signed sheet stating that After Call would be checked weekly, and agents would be held accountable WEEKLY. So if that happened, I would not have been written up three times in a seven day span and fired. So, had the COMPANY not broken COMPANY POLICY, I would still have a job. So in trying to screw me over, she actually provided what I needed to show that I was essentially wrongfully terminated, and that my supervisor was just a bitch who wanted me gone, because the paper that points out that After Call will be checked weekly was signed by every agent to show that we were aware of it. HOWEVER, there was NO signed paper to sign for employees to agree to DAILY checks. *nod* I feel successful at this point. Unemployed, but successful.

Anyway; I am sure that I have said way too much, so here's the TLDR.

Dog was sick, thought it was a busted lip, took him to the vet and found that it was a mouth tumor. Two days after vet visit, he passed so now my body hurts because I dug his grave from 7am to almost noon with no sleep in almost two days.

And then pointed out that I am still unemployed, but my previous supervisor supplied evidence that points out how the company broke company policy and that is why I was fired.

I think I should take a hint from the universe. Things just keep going down for me, and at a rather rapid pace. XD

How does one fine harassment charges?

So, a few changes happening outside of the furry realm on this end.
1) Worried for my mom. Her kidneys aren't working, so, if I am a match and a transplant is needed, then I'll be donating. PS: I REALLY hope I am a match.
2) I am changing my legal first and middle name. I have not decided on a middle name yet, though it will definitely be Hawaiian. Just trying to think of something that works well and has meaning.
Now you may ask why, and the answer, in short, is easy.
Father decided he didn't wanna play the role of father, I decided that after twenty years, I was fine without him. Found that he picked my middle name, and the English translation was not for his name, but my great grandfather's on his side of the family, so decided it's gotta go.
In short: No part of him will be associated with me at all, and so, that is the reason for that.
Those two things aside... I think that's about it.

Three times this has happened to me. I pay for something, and never get it. I mean... Why? It's infuriating! I feel cheated and just... UGH! I am not naming names, because two of them, I don't think have done it to others, and I have not heard anything about them from anyone else, one I did, but..
Should I stop going to artists and sellers who want money first, then the product? Is that the only way to keep this from happening? I mean.. I'm at a loss.
So, what brings this about: YEARS ago, I commissioned an artist who had one excuse after another as to why my art could not be done. After a while, I wrote it off as a loss. had a similar incident with another who kept putting my art on the back burner until he was tired of hearing me ask for it, and I was tired of asking, so I said 'fuck it' and left it. I'm over those two.
What's getting to me at this point is an artist who had been selling some items. I paid and waited... And nothing. So I nudged a bit, and was told "I'll send them Tuesday", and... Nothing.
That became 'tomorrow' a few weeks later. And... Nothing. The person has SEEMED sincere in their apologies and offered to send a few other things with said items as an apology, but... NOW when I try to message, I get no response, and am about to the point where I A) ask for a refund, because I am not getting what I paid for after five months. Not nearly as long as I have waited before, but it's too long, I think. Alternative B) I just say fuck it and write it off as a loss. I don't WANT to, because I want to believe that said seller is going to send it at some point and hold true to their word, but... It seems that so far they won't, and that infuriates me, because I am TRYING to give the benefit of the doubt, and feel as though I would be a dick for taking to either of the mentioned ideas.
So, allow me to pose a question. You send someone $30 for something, and they fail to deliver after five months. What do you do? And before you ask, I'm not naming names. Not even in notes, even if you happen to guess who said individual is. I want to find some sort of resolution/closure to my issue, not cause more for the person.

I am a grammar Nazi. I am not going to deny it. I can't STAND incorrect spelling.
This does not mean that I'll make you look like an ass for spelling a word incorrectly, though I DO tend to use that same word in my reply, so that the proper spelling can be seen. Here's the kicker: When texting, I often delete texts because my inner grammar Nazi just can't.
I have found that sometimes I cant even reply to notes or messages in general because of the way it is composed.
Example: I had a guy text me "hru"... What? What is that? I don't know what that is. So he replies "How ru?"
I deleted the message. I couldn't. I just couldn't. So... Conversation goes on, and the words just got worse and worse, so I couldn't make ANY sense of what was being said.
So I stopped talking.
This is no joke.
The thing is, I often times judge a person based on how they type to communicate. This is not to say that I think they're idiots because they don't spell words, but more that I spell my words in full. Why can they not do the same? I do try though. I really, really do... But it is hard sometimes.
Now: I will admit that I am getting better at it, so I can still talk to people I like when they cut words to letters. It's hard, but I do. And what made me this way? My seventh grade English teacher. See; there were laws of the classroom, and the biggest two were 1) Ain't ain't a word. It's a combination of am, is, and not. So you are essentially saying "I am is not gonna do that". But you am is gonna do twenty pushups per time you say ain't.
2) Everything is spelled and punctuated, unless it is a number over one hundred.
So, that is what I do. I literally spell out every word in my head as I speak it. I punctuate everything in my head, to make sure that it is correct. It is no different when typing. I can't cut letters out. I can't use shorter terms... When people do that at me, I just... W-what? I... I can't even... I cannot even do it...

So, what I'm getting at is this: If you message me, and we're chatting, and I suddenly fall silent, It's not that I don't like you, or am ignoring you. Take a step back, look at your spelling, and then... If all is well, I might be thinking up a response.
If you were using one letter words, like "hru" I am PROBABLY trying to talk myself into getting over it enough to reply. If not, then I may take a break and message again later with a clean slate, so to speak.

I have a LOT of pokemon cards. I mean A LOOOOT. I was considering selling some, perhaps as singles, or in groups.

If you are not familiar, this is a bear from Disgaea, and they have a mouth on their chest and back, which, though strange, I kinda like, so... The idea is in mind, just need to find the time and money to execute it...

I like holiday music. Dare I say; I love it. But I have strict rules.
1) NO mashups. They can be good but I like my holidays basic. "Santa Clause Is Coming To Town", "Rudolph"... Not "Frosty The Snowman: Ft Ludacris".
2) Only the classics. No remix, or covers... Some, I admit, are good, but... I like the classics.

It is that easy, but last night in McDonalds... LAST NIGHT... In McDonalds...
They were playing the holiday channel, and it was nice, until the song that would never end. It was like "Ultra Deluxe Holiday Mashup Featuring Ludacris, the All Boys Acapella Choir, Cher, Bobby Flay, part 2, now with MORE feeling, Sorry I Kicked The Cat Last summer, but Frosty The Snowman Asked me to, AAAah, Macarena" Part 1!
It would not end, and I was VERY unhappy within the first five minutes! It started a one song, then went to Silent night in the background, then Frosty popped in, and Rudolph was all like "Hey guys, what's going on?" And Noel, played, then they were Jingling their Bells all the way to their little Winter Wonderland, where Santa may or may not have been Coming To Town.
I had no idea what was going on, the SONG had no idea what was going on, and then it stopped.
I cheered.
But it started AGAIN! And I wept. I wept for the poor Christmas songs who had been taken hostage within that THING that people wanted to call a Great holiday song". They were burning, on fire, and there was no set theme to it at all. It was jazz, and techno, and little boys, and I THINK there may have been opera and orchestral, I DON'T KNOW! I lost track by the time it got to "I'm Dreaming of A Rudolph the Red Nosed Nutcracker Christmas Tree"!
For what felt like DAYS, I was held hostage, eating my fries and nuggets in that singsong HELL. One horrifying song after the other, each mutated more than the last. All I wanted was to eat my McFatty food!
Then... THEN... It ended. I was elated! I could eat my food without that atrocity clawing at my ears...
Then came the jazzy version of "Winter Wonderland", to which I said "Oh, HELL NAW!" and left.

I kinda wanna get pictures done of my characters as RPG classes, and I already have a lot f them down, and one done, so... Because I can, I'll post a list of what I have and why Note: I am open to ideas, cause I am weird like that or something...

Zhao - Warrior. Zhao can be a bit headstrong and stubborn. He does not like to lose and sometimes lets his emotions get the better of him, causing him to rush into battle, often unprepared. Despite this, however, he is skilled in combat.

Kealoha - Arcane warrior. Kealoha is not one to fight from a distance, but up close, and he has some minor spellcasting abilities for healing, or weapon enchantment... He likes to win and will do most anything to win, and to win fairly... Unless the enemy is playing dirty. Then the game is on.

Tunder - Berserker mage. Tunder has a temper, and it shows a lot. The angrier he is, the cooler the air around him, so.. Imagine a berserker wielding a hammer or a great sword... And it is forever enchanted with ice, because that is what he does! He's no 'proper' mage like a spellblade, but he's not a mindless berserker. He walks a fine line between the two.

Trenton - Defender. He's more focused on defending others than he is on fighting or anything other. He'll use his own body as a shield before he will let harm come to his allies. He's done it once, and he will do it again. He puts the lives of his allies before his own.

Toben - Martial artist (monk). He's shy and timid when he's sober, and tends not to be confrontational. He hates weapons, or rather, he does not like to use them, since he does not like to inflict any more pain than necessary. When he's drunk, however... He's non-violent unless provoked, and then... DRUNKEN FIST!

Tagg - Bard. He is the more timid twin, sweet and shy, often letting his brother, Tagg lead. However, where Tagg is more prone to combat, Tamm is not quite as skilled, but he is good with music, and that is why he and Tagg work so well together. Soothing music makes a great distraction for a thief to slip in and steal a few coins.

Tamm - Thief. He's no klepto, but he is prone to 'finding' items that may be of use and getting out of tight spots... Sometimes into them. He can be quiet and sneaky, and when it comes to a fight, he'll attack with quick, then retreat to the shadows.

Leon - Scholar. He can tell all about many things, and if he does not know it, he will study it and learn it. Leon's area of expertise is the English language, but you can bet he'll study and branch out to provide more intel and better support.

Luz -Moondancer. He channels the essence of lightning through himself, but is not solely focused on "magical" abilities, but can just as well shoryuken you in the face. Simplified: "LIGHTNING FIST TO THE FACE!"

Ray - Healer/medic. His father was abusive and hit him a lot as a child, and for a while, he was okay with it. However, he lashed out and hispitalized the man and immediately saw what he did not want to become, and so, he swore he would never willingly harm another. Healing, however...

Rally - Engineer (small). He's no greasemonkey, but he is great with fine mechanics. Self-warming automail, synthetic limbs, High capacity generators... If it is something made of small parts, he can build it... Larger components for vehicles and the sort... Not so handy.

Talon - Engineer (big). He's a bit of a greasemonkey, able to work on large machines and haul parts around. His home is a workshop with scrap piles around with parts that he'll use for something... Eventually. Unfortunately, though he can make mech suits and cars, he's not much good when it comes to smaller parts.

So, the idea now is to have them drawn as said classes. Slowly but surely, it will happen.

So, I got Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon.
The other game were easy, and typically 1-2 hits and an enemy died... Apparently they threw in Pokemon level Dark Souls, because WHAT THE HELL! The second quest I took put me against a level 50 pokemon (not saying for spoilers or something). He joined, and I took him along on a quest, and he STILL almost died, IN THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME!
So... Big boy pants are on... This is gonna be a fun challenge.
Then when I beat this, comes the great list of games on my 3DS to beat...
