So... I recently got Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the 3 ds.
This game has had my soul since I started playing, and is actually the first Monster Hunter I have played. I tried it on the Wii once, but couldn't find herbs, then got killed by bugs and quit. Not in this one though.
I am at the end of the first part.
That aside, I just wanna say that the Barioth is freakin' adorable. I saw it and vowed never to kill it. And I have yet to. All capture.

How was YOUR Christmas?

So, I decided to do it...
I'm nuking all submissions (not gallery submissions, but other artist posts and such), and am cutting my numbers down... As it is, I've gone from 1.6 million... To about 200k... And still going.

In other news, my toe is still swollen and infected. Went to a nurse practitioner, and she ran the first culture EVER done on said infection.
Found out that I have a staph infection, which may also be responsible for my fatigue over this passed week, and the spreading rash on my neck.
It seems to be antibiotic resistant, so... Cipro. Antibiotic 4.
1. Keflex (now listed as a medication I am allergic to).
2. Bactrim
3. Amoxicillin
4. Cipro.
Hopefully this treatment works. On top of what has been done, they are tryingnto get me to a podiatrist who can PROPERLY treat my toes and prevent any further ingrown issues. My fingers are crossed.

I have noticed that I have had issues with the managers at both of my past jobs.
When I was working for SiriusXM, I made one of the supervisors wanna cry because I was not happy with the conclusion to a problem that we had. I'd argue if I thought they were wrong, and was one of the only employees who was not "yes sir" "no sir".
When at the gas station in NY, when I disagreed with the manager there, she'd be well aware. Like when she tried making me work on my niece's birthday, but had been notified a month in advance to make it. SHE worked that day and.. I didn't go to my niece's birthday because it was rescheduled.
AND I pulled a 12 hour shift the day after, just to stick it to her.

I wonder what will happen at my next job...

On a side note; I think I'm gonna nuke all 1.5 million submissions... Once I get caught up. I had about a week or so that I got lazy with my browsing and fell behind, so... Getting up to date is gonna be hard as hell...

I gave my father an ultimatum.
I'd rather have the memory of a voice on the phone rather than the memory of a man who ignored my every attempt to contact him. So, I made it quite clear; I want my texts and calls answered if the number is the same. If it's NOT, I requested a message with the NEW number so that I can update my phone.
If I get no answer and no new number, I take that as a sign that he does not want to be part of my life, and so, he won't be.
All attempts at communication will stop, and I'll pretend that I don't have a father. I won't deny that he's my father, but I won't care anymore.


Tried a direct message. Only answer I got was "Hello?" Like he didn't know who I was. The rest of my messages went unanswered.

Seriously though... About the skin cancer deal... I'm not worried, and I don't expect things like "Oh my god, I hope it's not bad!" or "You'll make it, cause you're a survivor". Really, it's not a big deal. If it is skin cancer, I'll have it treated. If it's not. Great! I don't need treatment. Simple as that.

Part of me is kind of hoping that it is skin cancer, because I BELIEVE they would send me to a dermatologist. In which case I can also ask about my scalp, and perhaps find a way to fix the constant dry, flaky issue that I've had for... My whole life.

I have been having trouble sleeping as of late. I don't know why, but I have been thinking about my father.

Thing is; I have him friended on facebook, and he's always posting things about how he's so proud of his son, and how he doesn't regret anything he has done.
So, he's proud of a son he has had almost nothing to do with for almost 20 years, and does not regret being absent from my life. Note: I last saw him when I was 4, last had an actual conversation when I was 14-15, and SPOKE when I was 20.
I know I don't need my father, but that bothers me. A lot more than I first thought.
I bought some apple cinnamon tea, because I remember drinking it at his house when I was little. It's not even a proper memory. Just the smell of the tea and the intro to the old X-Men.

So, I had a lot of thinking time last night, where nothing was happening, it was completely quiet, and my mind started to wander. I thought back to my younger days, not tat I am old now, but when things were... Different.
Essentially, I had hope in everything. I believed I could do anything, and enjoyed everything. I was always active and smiling. Everything got me excited, and I looked forward to holidays, not because of presents or anything like that, but because I'd get to spend time with my family. Now...
I don't have hope for anything. I don't believe in 'forever'. I acknowledge that I have limits, and fail to enjoy as much as I used to. I'm not as active, not smiling nearly as much...

Dunno what changed, but it happened somewhere between 16 and 18. I have a theory, but that's something completely separate.

It's right around the corner, and you wanna know what I'd love?
A new laptop. Mine is fineband all, but... It dies if it comes unplugged... And it, overall, sucks donkey balls... You know; the kind that NOBODY wants to suck!

I woke up and almost immediately,  demondragon took me to the ER. Financial aid went through, and we went to get my foot fixed.
The doctor almost immediately said that there was nothing that they could do, so I told her that they had done it there before, so I knew it was possible.
Well, it wasn't her area of expertise, so she wasn't so sure. I explained what they did, and sure enough: "I can do a digital block and poke around to see what I can do." So... Essentially: "I don't normally do this, but I can give it hell."
To which my response, paraphrased, of course, was: "Fuck it! Let's do it!"
She numbed it, pried the nail up, and cut it. Needless to say, it was one HELL of an ingrown nail. About a quarter of the size of my pinky nail as can be seen here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5781572/ .
Since then, I have felt NO pain, and it was made SO numb, that it is STILL a bit numb. There was a bit of pain poking through earlier, however, so I took half of one of my pain pills to nip it.
The doctor also told me a bit that I did not know such as Epsom salt soaks doing little if anything for my feet. Soap and water. That's all that's needed.
Keflex is more of a half-assed fix. She gave me something else that should hopefully work. Bactrim. So... Huzzah! Now.. I'm gonna go kick some stuff, and maybe later, I'll even take off my socks!

Fun fact: I do not have a foot fetish, but I LOVE feeling a breeze against my bare feet. It's SUPER awesome, like... You have NO idea.

TL;DR? Went to hospital, got foot taken care of, doctor was awesome, and I am presently pain free.

I know that I said I was gonna go get my feet fixed the other day, but... Thing is, I was told to wait and see if my financial aid went through. I called to check, but... No cashier to check for me until tomorrow, so... Tomorrow's the day.
Financial aid or not, I AM getting my feet fixed, because the left toe s so bad, I can't walk without pain. Can't cover it wit blankets, move it, can't put shoes on... The smallest little twinge brings ungodly pain, and this excludes the constant burning sensation. So... Tomorrow, it WILL be done.
