Hey folks! It has been a while, I hardly use this site anymore! Been playing lots of concerts and working a lot! I want to announce that I will be getting a fursuit in 2019. I am already in the process of funding it and my fursuit maker, Pawgazer, is doing preliminary fur testing and design work. Get ready to get stomped by Rocío the Wolverine.

I will be at Megaplex in some capacity tomorrow. Idk if I will stay very long but I wanna be around furries and have a vacation so. I'm on here very little anymore because it kinda stresses me out, but when I am, it is to look at porn and gross shit like that. A lot of things happened over the summer and I just didn't really feel very comfortable with myself nor with the fandom. I'm doing a lot better now, but I've practically ditched the fandom. I'm working as a research intern at my university's LGBT center which is really jammin and rad tbh. I'm surrounded by a lot of good people and it's perhaps made me a better person than I was before. I also have a significant other now who is very good to me. idk. I don't think you'll see me at elliotts or FWA anymore. I'm also moving out of the state hopefully next yearish. I wanna go to Massachusetts or Illinois if I can, or Puerto Rico. But yeah. I still love a lot of you ppl, even a lot of the ones I'm on bad terms with. I've been a lot more productive with music lately which is surprising, tho I rarely ever finish anything. I usually start writing music around the time the urge to put a bullet in my brain comes up. It helps me cope. I just don't know how to go about finishing most of the stuff I start. It's really funny that music works like that for me.

1. What made you choose the species of your main Character?
Xoc(pronounced Shock) or Chase was a premade fursuit originally that I bought off furbuy. He was and is a German Shepherd Dork

2. Is your character just like you, or how you want to be?
Xoc is largely based off of me, even down to his body type and his heritage.

3. Does your character have the same personality you have?
Xoc is me but me if I was falling asleep on everyone.

4. Does your character have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
Yes. The only major thing is that Xoc has an ice fetish and I don't.

5. Does your character look like you at all?
Xoc has a little bit of a gut and he's kinda out of shape like me. So like skinnyfat? But in a cute way I guess? He's a little bit taller than me because the fursuit itself makes me taller. like 6'0" or 6'1"

Xoc is a male.

I have four characters: Dr. Keon "Clark" Forrester the Dilophosaur, Stephen the swarm of sentient VHS tapes, Terry Disco the Lammergeier/Phoenix, and Chevy Chase Clarkson/Xoc Schorck the German Shepherd.

8. Do you have a back story for your character, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
Prime Universe Xoc was born April 15th 1993 to Jeffry and Mariana Clarkson (maiden name Ibañez). His father was a store manager from Boston and his mother was a doctor from San Juan, Puerto Rico. His dad had an unhealthy appreciation for former Saturday Night Live comedian Chevy Chase and thus named his son after him. Xoc really hated this so much and all through middle and high school he had his friends call him Chase. Xoc is not a real name, it's his screen-name that eventually carried on irl and became his nickname.

Sometimes during the winter, he grows his facial fur out, something that his family ain't too keen about because it makes him look like a homeless person. While he was really drunk with an ex-boyfriend on a trip to the UK, he got 1983 tattooed on his back in hot pink. He's so embarrassed about it that he refuses to take off his shirt in public. He won't do so at the pool or the beach.

Xoc is easily irritated and rather impatient, but he's also very sweet and affectionate and if cuddling while watching cult sci-fi television with a friend were a job, he'd be the first to sign up. He has hypothyroidism and sleeps a lot. Sleeping is probably his favorite thing in the whole entire world. He loves to nap with others, especially ppl who don't kick him off the bed while sleeping. He lost his virginity while half-asleep in his bed. BTW his bed is one of those kiddy racecar ones.

He loves synthpop and funk music so much and he daydreams about being in a glittery, overly-sexualized synthpop duo. He wants to get fit so that maybe he can show off his backtattoo to a crowd of screaming fans. Til then he pulls in his stomach. He has a really bad habit of blushing a lot with little provocation.

He's single and ready to pringle??

I don't like the term mate all that much, but I mean, I myself am looking to start dating again so I guess?? I would imagine that my character would hook with my partner's fursona but that's not really a big deal for me anyways.

11. Is there something special about your character that you think sets them apart from others?
Chase is basically me with some exaggerations(sleeping way more than me and being really afraid of showing off his body). He's also really nervous around most people. I think what sets him apart is that I don't give him ideal traits, I take my own traits, negatively exaggerate them with the outcome being Chase

I only have one piece of art of Xoc. But I have and perform in fursuit a lot. I am very lazy about commissioning people for art because I don't really have a bank account for paypal and like I'm too shy to commission anyways?

Nahhhh. He's a qt

2013 was the year I finally, finally got my shit together socially and emotionally. I'm still working on the independence factor, but I'm confident that I'll develop that in 2014. So basically I wanted to write a big journal about my experiences this year, the friends I've made, and all that gay LOGO shit.

Solidified My Major: In early 2013, I took and passed my first sociology class, and thanks to my wonderful teacher and the wonderful topic of sociology just being plain awesome, I finally settled on a major for college. Which means I have an idea of where my life is going now.

Became A Student Leader: I became an officer in my classmate's International Languages Club in late spring semester. Apparently, he liked what I did in those last three weeks enough to make me president of the ILC. I'm still trying to get stuff together but I'm confident that this presents a great opportunity for me.

Started to make more music: In 2013 I learned how to sing while playing the piano, something that pushed my composition in a different direction. Where previously I was writing minimalist, Yann Tiersen inspired instrumental music, I began writing piano soul songs and emo/sadcore stuff. I reached the three years of playing piano mark. And I started my first band. It's called Public Universal Friend and is the other bandmember.

Made More Friends: I made a lot of new friends this year who are really, really important to me. So like that shit happened??? These include but are not limited to I care a lot about these ppl and stuff. Also, I started talking to ppl more at college and hanging out and stuff. I'm emotionally and socially where I need to be rn.

My self image improved: I got to where I stopped caring about the way I looked and I'm benefiting from it greatly. Also, I don't dress like trash anymore, I dress like a garbage dump. Which is a good thing I promise. Also I've been getting haircuts that do(n't) make me look like a drangus and I've accepted the bara life.


Bad things that happened: I went through two major periods of emotional down. I had a lot of control over it but I was really angsty. Being angsty helped me to write a few songs though.

I did what I always said I was never gonna do: I made an f-list so you can learn about gushers frotting and Zero-G cunnilingus and other fetishes I have.

2013 has been the best year of my life thus far. It's also been a sad year. I'm really close to a lot of ppl now but I feel really lonely at the same time and it's real self-destructive for me.

I have an LGBTQ sociology class and for my final paper I want to write about the furry fandom, a community with a large LGBTQIA population and whose culture is shaped in many ways by LGBTQIA culture. I want to explore why this is, what this means, and how people negotiate their gender or orientational identities within the context of the fandom. Furry seemingly has a long history of sex positivity possibly stemming from the DIY fanzines and underground comic scene that largely fueled the furry fandom in its nascency in the late 70's and all through the 80's(Vootie, Fritz The Cat, etc.). I feel that this long history of positivity towards an important but also stigmatized part of our cultures allows us to reevaluate questions of sexuality. Patriarchally-defined views on sexuality, gender roles and comportment aren't abandoned in the furry community but they are largely destabilized, recontextualized, and reconceptualized as they have been in the actual LGBTQIA community. It has been my experience that elements of male homosexuality are glorified and are at the top of the stratification although bisexuality is the largest attested sexuality in the community and has been for at least 15 years. But yeah, this is gonna be a p crappy paper.

And I might need your help. I want to talk with ppl over skype and interview them. I want some outside input and I feel like it'll be some good practice for me because I'm going into qualitative research next semester.
