So I ended up drinking a bit too much bourbon with my housemate last night and threw together a mix. It was absolute shit, but I revamped it a bit this afternoon while practicing. It has a few sneaker in the dryer moments but it came out alright.

I made a short mini mix this morning before I had to go take the GRE. I tried to upload it to FA, and they have a max file size of 10mb. So I just put it on my soundcloud. Its the first mix I've felt confident enough to record. The volume level on a few of the tracks is kinda weird because I was mixing just through my headphones because all my housemates were asleep. Let me know what you guys think :) Feedback is much appreciated.

I haven't been home for more than three or four hours, and my parents are already telling me what I can do better with myself. I was telling them about my job for the summer, and my mom asked me if I followed up on another job listing as well. I tell her I didn't because Im already going to be working 40 hours a week. They tell me that any extra income would help me pay for my living situation. And its not as if they;re suggesting it, they're telling me I should get a second job. Its not as if I don;t already feel bad about the fact that there are so many other jobs I could have applied for, which pay more (that I didn't know about).

I'm so tired guys. Like legit tired. I've been running on all four cylinders for the past month to get stuff done for finals and Im so exhausted.

I have no room to complain though as I have other friends who are working twice as much as I am on various projects, and finals. This is what we get for going to Ivy league school D:

I'm still trying to determine whether or not Im going to have enough money this summer to go to AC. I mean I'm going regardless of whether or not I have the money, but it would be nice to not have to worry about it.

Voltaire is gonna be in town tomorrow! I really wanna go see his live show, but I can't because of all the work I have to do tomorrow. I would do the work tonight but I can't because I already have plans *sad face*

Okay guys, normally I don't make posts about bands I'm listening to or anything, but I'm making an exception. I've fallen in love with the band "The Real Tuesday Weld". I found them when a friend of mine showed me the video for one of their songs ("Bath time in Clerkenwell" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awuTkVytgYs).

They're a band that belongs to a relatively new genre of music called antique beats. I'm usually not to fond of listening to breakbeat type music with singing, but they're pretty good. So you guys should check them out!
