General | Posted 4 years agoI have not received aggression against me for being from Russia, but now, to be honest, I am uncomfortable because of everything that is happening and because of the large amount of information that we, the citizens of Russia, are to blame for what is happening. I did not choose this government either twenty years ago or at the last elections. We are told that we should go to rallies.
So, people went to rallies 12 years ago, and literally today, a few hours ago, but there is nothing but detentions and arrests. The same thing happened in Belarus last year. I understand how painful and scary it has been in Ukraine all these years, but I'm trying to be an artist, I live in a dying city, I can't come to my president and tell him that he has to stop all this. To be completely honest, even for this message, the police can come to my apartment.
In general. Take care of yourself, help Ukraine if you have the opportunity. My family and I are now at risk of being left without money and any food, and I am afraid that the actions of our government will lead to the fact that shooting will begin in our cities. I am against a war between anyone. My friends and acquaintances from Ukraine are now sitting in the subway, hiding from the shelling. This is not normal. But they didn't ask us. And you don't need to believe what they write, that 80% support such a decision. There are a large number of intelligent and educated people in our country.
Also, some write that we have been silent for 8 years and now, when it all touched us, we began to worry. I am against killing and war in any form. These 8 years we have received almost no information on Donetsk and Lugansk, our government, as usual, declared that everyone around is enemies, as it has done and will do. I woke up to find out that my state had started a war against a country in which I have many friends. I'm worried about their lives, just as I'm worried about the life of my family.
