Okay, so . . .

I'm gonna vent about something here, since it does involve some furries I've known.

I'm not ever, ever ever ever EVER gonna give away more than say 40 dollars to any individual for their own benefit ever again.

Why? well, you see, I was swindled of 520 dollars - it was to help this guy and his friends stay off the street and to reserve my place at a certain apartment . . . he changed apartment plans and his friends were doing well by then, and also were kinda dangerous and one was psychotic, and I wasn't doing that well-off by the time he decided to just kinda do this . . . so I asked for it back, he said, several times, sure sure, next pay day, sure, tax season, sure this, sure that for a few years and NADA. I am an utter fool for having thought this could go well any way whatsoever. This guy also got art of my character, and even if it was the artist's mistake to make it my character, he posted it and only corrected it after I got after him . . . *sigh* and I gave someone else 200 bucks, dunno what happened to that . . . gave someone else 100 , dunno with that, either. I'm done being naive. I've gone through a lot of emotional abuse and neglect in my life and shit like this is the last thing I need . . I just wanted to help some people out, I wanna think I'm a nice person, but yeah . . if I'm asked to just give you money no matter what excuse you give or how bad I feel, I'm not doing it : / It's been proven it's not worth doing. If I had that 520 back I'd use it for therapy 'cus I really need it.

I've paid for the art you're using, for stickers, icons and reference images.

I WILL ask for a takedown of the art wherever possible.

I did not pay for OTHERS to USE ART THAT I COMMISSION.

I like sharing and I like that people enjoy the art and the character and I don't care if you whack one out to one every now and again but please have the decency to not use other people's art, commissioned or otherwise to represent yourself without permission, it's kinda disrespectful . . .

Sooo . . I've "recently" gotten into art toy figures, vinyl, ceramic, wood, resin, whatever, I personally find that , especially through resin and vinyl that they are excellent means of expression, so clear cut and so vibrant, often with a bit of attitude, and they certainly seem to fit the criteria of interest to a lot of furry artists these days. SO! I'm wondering who else collects or admires these? or who is confused to what I'm even talking about :x If the latter is the case, google, do your thing.

Why are people into like . . sparkly glittery gore? I'm seeing a lot of decapitation and segmented body parts that are flashy colors and/or have sparkles. Is it just 'cus it's cool-looking or what?

Okay, so. .

I feel I need to make this to let people know some quirks and possibly explain some things about me.

So everyone says I'm easily offended, too sensitive, etcetera - and this is true. I get triggered easily, sometimes from bad memories or something I'm going through with OCD, a "bad thought", bad thoughts about myself or others. So not quite harmful "racist" themed humor, and other touchy stuff can set me off. I over analyze and overthink a lot of things, and I'm really tired of being outnumbered by people I perceive as, and maybe in some cases are . . idiots. And that's where depression comes into play as well. Everyone has tried so hard to crush my spirit for so many years that I'm very defensive and feel everything is an attack. I don't know what to do about it, maybe just grin and bear the insensitive jokes, even if they're calling me an aide to genocide because I like it when people use proper grammar . . *sigh*. So basically, I'm just naturally nervous and anxious and defensive, largely from years of poor parenting, misunderstandings and life just being cruel to a free spirit. So yeah, sorry if I'm too sensitive. .-. P.S. - This is also a reason I'm stupidly indecisive

So, here's a question . .

Why are people allowed to show pics of their guns on this site?

I thought this was supposed to be more or less an art community, not a show and tell of deadly weaponry.

People have thought I'm too sensitive about guns, when they are just aiding a culture of guns.

I'm not debating whether they should be legal or not, just, why do I hae to see them everywhere and why are people so cozy with them? It's a bit disturbing.

So, I have been pondering lately . . why is Japan so popular versus say, China, Vietnam, Thailand in the furry fandom and generally?

Is it because they're more relatable or that their culture is more known and stands out - WHILE Being relatable to our sensibilities?

I guess it really comes down to animation, furry is based off anthropomorphic animals and anime caters to some of those sensibilities that people who are furries love.

I'll admit Japanese culture is pretty cool, but I think Chinese and Vietnamese culture are underrated in the modern conscious, as well as generally east Asian cultures.

I personally love Chinese tea culture, music, food, same for Vietnam and elsewhere.

I'm getting really friggin' tired of everyone complaining when I don't give them adequate time of reply for them specifically.

I don't owe everyone my time or my interest unless they're already established as a someone close to me. I know I sound like a jerk saying this but I've gotten that sort of thing way too much. Seriously, go find something else to do.

I Know I should reply to people if e're trying to establish something, and that's my bad, but damn, people, give me a break. I've got other stuff that I've either planned or sporadically just catch my interest. I'm sure that happens to other people, right? So if someone wants me to be respectful of them, I ask the same in kind.

OH. And you know, harassing me with porn and RP offers is a very good way to get on my " You are scum to me" list.

So, I've noticed yet again that someone is trying to impress people by threatening to share pics of him taking shit tons of "dick" up his ass. And thinking it's a great idea to just . . go around, randomly soliciting shitty role playing offers. I also thought it was amusing that he supposedly smacking off to a lesbian about preferences and acting as if he's a bigger person just because she uses CAPS in her uhm . .replies. o-o;

But seriously guys, I know this site hosts tons of pornographic art, but can we pretty please respect people's preferences and also not be creeps that wanna show our buttholes and junk to well, literally anyone?

Being a furry is odd enough in itself so that should really be all the "coming together" factor needed in my opinion. I don't think this sort of pseudo stalking/harassment is acceptable. .-.

So . . I have an odd one.

For a while now I've been wanting some type of figurine of Zia.

Be it plush, clay or vinyl or something.

But I'm REALLY into vinyl figures lately, and thinking of making my own custom Funko POP! s of some of my characters.

But I'm curious if anyone knows any artists on here that make figures? vinyl is preferred but I'd gladly like to see any of the above listed.

I feel like no one likes me any more. that me/my character ( s ) aren't attractive any more.

Maybe it's me not getting out there, or maybe I come across the wrong folks . . which seems to be a lot anymore. But yeah. I feel socially neglected, especially lately.

Maybe the people I meet are shallow, maybe I'm not active enough or maybe I'm a bad person. Don't know.

Just feeling a lot of disinterest and coming across rude folks lately. meh.
