Hello everyone, sorry about not being around to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. At the very least I can wish everyone a Happy New Year as we prepare for the new decade slowly approaching. I was mostly unable to make a journal on wishing everyone a Merry Christmas as my newest christmas gift, a very comfortable blanket, has been making me sleepy when I least expect it. So far this blanket has been making me sleep earlier than intended and sometimes makes me go back to sleep for a nap. Needless to say, I'm super late on things given I've just been sleeping and sleeping if I'm not typing or watching Twitch.

In other news, I have found the 10th member of the Pokemon Shield cast. This means once I post all the bios and the like I may be able to consider stories involving all 20 characters. Just note that with the Sword and Shield cast having grown to 20, that doesn't mean there won't be room for surprise characters. Who knows, maybe another legendary will descend from the heavens in order to guide the shield cast. Only time will tell as things change around the pokemon daily. The only other thing to note is that there may be some invading creatures into the Gallery. I'm not sure who they are or what they can do, but as they've been seen near the pokemon I can only guess they're related somehow. People have been telling me they're digimon, but I've certainly never heard of that.

One more thing to talk about is definitely FA's new User Interface. I had viewed the site an hour before the changes went live and upon booting it up I almost mistook FA for a different site initially. I will definitely say this new user face has its ups and downs, but one change I'm particularly happy with is its changes for mobile platforms. I use FA mobile to keep up to date with new content, while I use a computer to manage notifications and mass favorite some posts from one artist. This mass favorite feature will be easy to use since the favorite button will be on the same place regardless of the image. It'll definitely be easier to keep up and fav all the submissions I need to, though I will need to see just how useful this is.

2010 - 2019 has definitely been a crazy decade. I can say my favorite events has been learning of the online world and the sort of artwork and characters designed, developed, and published almost everyday. I had a rocky start from 2013 to 2016 with sites like Deviantart and Tumblr, but as all people do when learning something new you have to take the mistakes and use them to better yourself. As we go into the new decade, I do hope to do more such as focusing on commissions or developing new stories and interactions. There is so much we can expect that I can only imagine at the moment what we can see with just a few months of time into this new decade. Happy New Year everyone and remember to have fun.

It seems unnecessary that I have to address this, but everyone seems to miss this detail unless I correct them each time. I AM NOT AN ARTIST. All the art I post are from artist commissions or characters I purchased with my own money. If you come to me congratulating me for "my art", ask for free art, or wish to perform a trade, I’m gonna have to correct you and say it isn’t my work. The only impact I have on the art I post is that I sometimes create edits such as giving them BGs or changing colors / details to my liking. These changes range from minor to large, but I never try to credit myself above the artist. If it was not for the artist doing the design in the first place, I wouldn't be owning them plain and simple.

To ensure problems like this don’t happen anymore, here is a list of artists you should be following and congratulating instead if you enjoy the characters you see. Their hard work and passion are what allows me to continue as a writer developing pokemon characters.

With everything stated I hope to see the amount of “Love your art” or “Do you do requests” dropdown soon enough. I’m a writer first and foremost, what I truly make can be found in the description of the characters I post. If you wish to properly congratulate me, it's better to mention the writing I post with the character or even being able to own the character to begin with.

Since Pokemon Sword and Shield has been out for a while now, I felt it was time to shake off the spoilers and start posting characters of pokemon that have not been officially announced yet. Since Nintendo made a video showing the final evolutions of the starters I realized the amount of pokemon I would need to hide had been reduced well enough to hopefully sidestep the issue. I should note only 5 out of 19 Pokemon haven't been announced officially yet which is a small enough number to not worry too much. If this is still a problem for you I wish you I recommend stepping away from my page as I am eager to finalize these characters for my story.

So for about 7 days I've had little to no wi-fi which has made developing my pokemon characters slow and tricky. For the most part, I spent these past few days of no wi-fi by working on some art pieces that would allow me to properly present the characters for when they're ready to be revealed. I'm pretty happy to have a chance at developing a cast around the new pokemon. It took some months since the first few were announced, but seems things have properly paid off. I'll be sure to post these when I have the time to catch up.

In the next upcoming days I will begin posting characters based on pokemon from Sword and Shield. I will start things off by posting the characters whose species have been revealed officially during the leadup towards the game. This is due to having already done their bios months in advance, but never really developing them outside of the info they had on websites. Thanks to the new pokedex entries, I feel there will be a lot more ideas to consider when revamping these characters for the Galar story. Once these characters are posted I will be doing the newly revealed pokemon. If you don't wish to see these pokemon early I suggest unfollowing me for the time being or not checking submissions for the time being. As I have put money towards these characters I would prefer to post them when I see fit rather than worrying over what people will think.


To explain what exactly happened with the Amazon pre-order fiasco for Sword and Shield Double Pack, it ended off with quite a beautiful ending. I got the pre-order on 11/13, just in time to receive the Gold Studded Leather Case promotion as well as 2 day free shipping ( Amazon Prime Student is awesome ). Furthermore, Amazon gave me a $22 refund on the game thanks to Pre-Order Price Guarantee ( If the price gets changed after the pre-order, they'll return some of the money you spent which meant a $126 I spent turned into $104 towards the game ( If I factor in the taxes ). Needless to say, I'm happy with the outcome.

I managed to contact both Amazon and Nintendo earlier today to question about the status of the Sword & Shield Double Pack Preorder. Nintendo told me they have no knowledge of what third parties are doing with the pre-order rewards, but wished me the best of luck. Amazon simply gave me a $5 discount as an apology which really makes me worried at this point. The deadline to receive the Gold Studded Leather Case is 11/14 ( 5 days away ), so I hope that Amazon can correct this before that time. There are other options to pre-order, but the only reward I'm interested in is that backpack.

I've made too much progress and sacrifices to give up now, so I won't stop trying towards the goal I've already set for myself. Many people are of course upset with Sword and Shield, which I understand, but I want to judge the game on its own merits. Especially after avoiding as many spoilers as I could.

So I've been eager to preorder Pokemon Sword and Shield for the past few weeks, pretty much-selling characters and working hard in order to finally get the game in time. However, with spoilers on the horizon I took a bit of time to contemplate whether to go with the 2 day option or not ( Would cost $7 more than I have, but promise delivery on the day it comes out. ). However, as I began to plan my purchase, I found the preorder option was gone. I'm personally freaking out since I saved my money, let go of many characters, and made gambles just to keep up the chance for the game.

For those that don't know, preordering the game on Amazon nets you an in-game backpack which is gold in its design. This is an amazon exclusive offer which is particularly why I've been eager for the game there. I thought about buying Sword and Shield the same day it came out, but found that the Gold backpack offer ends 11/14 which is the same day as payday. This meant buying it on my next paycheck wasn't an option, so I went and tried to make up the money I had to buy it before the 11/14 deadline. I'm really hoping to talk with Amazon to see if this may be a mistake, or if there is gonna be a chance to preorder before the game comes out. I've done too much to give up on my chance for Sword & Shield.

With Gen 8 about to grace us in almost 10 days, Spoilers and leaks will be making their way into people's notifications and feeds. If you're wondering if I'll be taking part in spreading or discussing leaks I won't. I'm somewhat attempting to avoid these leaks myself in the hope of having the surprise be when I receive the game. As such there will be no leaks or spoilers from me until the game is out for a while since some of my characters will be focused on these new pokemon.

With all that said, however, any pokemon that has been announced officially will be posted. I'm warning about this now as I don't want people to cause a huge scene over pokemon that have already been publically announced for months. This is journal is more for addressing content that has not been officially announced, rather than the content already announced.

Currently I'm deciding on how to proceed with NSFW references for the gallery. I want this page to be open for public viewing, but I'm unsure of the best method to present a character to people when they go through my gallery. To explain the situation, a number of characters I own come with NSFW references only. With my skills in image editing, I can turn the reference SFW in order to publically share them. With two versions of the same character, I'm wondering which version would people like to see over another...or both.

I may side with going with both SFW and NSFW versions of a reference just so anyone who has SFW turned on, or can't view Mature / Adult content, can see both with no issue. However, what would you feel is the best way of handling this?
