Holy crap! Did I really just write a book?
General | Posted 16 years agoI mean Demonskin. I just finished the final chapter and the end totals are in: 103 pages and 40,498 words! It began as a short story but evolved into near-novel length. And I gave my minotaurs life, they have personalities now.
For those of you haven't read, first chapter's here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2476123
Go nuts.
This story has reached its conclusion, but now I know I can keep the fun going. You haven't seen the last of Ruulkan and Killdozer, Tylara and Scourge, or Kaladon and Adrugos. Seems like it's also time for Ezekiel and Clayton to show up.
But in closing I would like to give a HUGE THANKS to
tkd_dbull
It was the pic of Mino-Venuum that would eventually lead me to write this story and his encouragement kept me going. Thanks a ton Dbull.
Other thanks to
kartos for drawing the bulls that would become Ruulkan and Adrugos, and thanks to
thewielder for drawing Killdozer first.

General | Posted 16 years agoGot the idea from
jeffkage?
I'm curious to know which of my characters are your favorite?
I have quite a few so there should be someone for everyone.
The options are:
Ruulkan the Mage
Killdozer the Warrior
Adrugos the Thief
Tylara the Sorceress
Kaladon the Paladin
Bruno the Biker
Ezekiel the Cowboy
Clayton the Cowboy

On my minotaurs
General | Posted 16 years agoOkay, first off, I would like to thank all my watchers both recent and not so recent. It's no secret that I love minotaurs/tauren/anthro bulls, as my submitted commissions from other artists attests. Thanks to all of them, I now have a small number of minotaur characters to call my own.
Secondly, I want to update the info on my characters and flesh them out a little more, starting with the most detailed, Ruulkan the mage. Ruulkan can be seen in the following: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2251502 and http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2274774, as well as http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2281936 for the full monty. Ruulkan's a mage, and he can pretty much travel anywhere he pleases. He can roam the planes and appear almost anyhwere. Ruulkan tends toward being shy, preferring to stay out of the spotlight, but he is quite enthusiastic and energetic if you can get him out of his shell.
The next bull is Killdozer, the warrior. He's found at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2192865 for the original, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2292796 for an epic portrait, and http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2318672 for the swimsuit competition. Killdozer is even more reserved than Ruulkan, rarely ever speaking, though push him enough and his sword will respond instead. Not much is known about Killdozer, he never talks about his past, but what is known is that Killdozer isn't his real name.
The third minotaur is Adrugos. I haven't given him a lot of detail yet. But as you can see from http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2293044 http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2309233 and http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2316617 he's a rather wild one. He was designed by
tkd_dbull to be Ruulkan's foil, so I guess that means he's as brash, outspoken, and raunchy as the mage is quiet and shy.
Finally, I have a question to my readers. So far I have a warrior, a mage, and a rogue, but I'd like to branch out from the standard RPG classes. So I ask you for new ideas on new minotaurs. Any character archetype you'd like to see, or maybe draw, throw it out here and I'll try to flesh out the best ones into new characters.

Rather Detailed Dungeons and Dragons Character Quiz
General | Posted 16 years agohttp://easydamus.com/character.html
I found this character quiz through google, and man does it give detailed results. It's not one of those "What Character Suits You?" quizzes, it's like what you would be if you were a D&D character. I know it's kind of long, but the results are pretty fun. Anyway, here’s what I got.
You Are A:
Neutral Good Human Druid (3rd Level)
Ability Scores:
Strength- 15
Dexterity- 11
Constitution- 17
Intelligence- 16
Wisdom- 15
Charisma- 13
Not bad, I have pretty decent stats according to this quiz.
(In case you didn't know, 10 is the most average of average scores, the highest possible result for a low level human is 18)
Though if I wanted to make my character into a minotaur, I’d have to apply my own modifiers. Throw in a little +4 STR, -2 DEX, +2 CON, -2 CHA (pulling and editing this from Dragonlance and its more civilized minotaurs) and we get:
Strength- 19
Dexterity- 9
Constitution- 19
Intelligence- 16
Wisdom- 15
Charisma- 11
Still decent, but skewed more to being a warrior, and a slightly clumsy one at that.
Alignment:
Neutral Good- A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment because it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.
Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.
Class:
Druids- Druids gain power not by ruling nature but by being at one with it. They hate the unnatural, including aberrations or undead, and destroy them where possible. Druids receive divine spells from nature, not the gods, and can gain an array of powers as they gain experience, including the ability to take the shapes of animals. The weapons and armor of a druid are restricted by their traditional oaths, not simply training. A druid's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that they can cast.
