Cripes.... it's been eons since I've legit been on here.

SOOOO busy. I hate it at some points.
School's been a hag and a half. Well... more like reality at some points too.
So much crap to do. -groan-

Enough ranting from me.

I'm starting to draw a lot more again. :]
Which means that I will finally get off my arse and sketch and finish this project thing going on. Huzzah! Seriously, your guys' patience astounds me sometimes.

Been experimenting with a new style lately.
Been trying some new things.

I hope to finish the first project first and then get as much of the next project done while I'm in the muse for drawing.

- When did you start drawing?
Hm... since I was about 5ish I guess it's safe to say.

- Which hand do you use for drawing?
Right hand.

- Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Depends on the pose they're in.

- Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Long hair.

- Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
I tend to like it more facing the left.

- Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Side view.

- What do you have problems in drawing?
Knees, hands, proper eye angles.

- What do you like to draw?
dragons, OCs, wolves/dogs, fantasy

- Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Traditional, but I tend to be daring and color digitally with my craptastic mouse.

- Where do you start drawing from?
Always. The. Face.

- What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I block out everything going on around me and always have music of some sort of music playing on my speakers or headphones. I also tend to sit on my bed and hunch forward, so by the end of it my back or neck is freaking sore.

- Any tips for coloring/shading?
Take your time but determine where the light is coming from. Don't be afraid to try stuff out of your comfort zone to expand your horizons.

- How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
hahaha depends. Sometimes I do a WIP and finish it soon, or I leave it 'till later. I've also left them and never gone back, then laughed when I found them again eons later. XD

- What music do you listen to while you draw?
Usually anything that relates to the drawing. If I'm going for an emtional tie, I usually use score soundtracks. I'll use anything but rap or heavy metal kind of stuff [no offense to those who like that... just isn't my style of music is all].

- How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
I always have something in my mind that I can pull up. I always try to remember them and do them later now that my time is limited.

- Your favorite drawing utensils?
Mechanical pencil and my eraser. Oh, what would I do without them?

- Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
Blues, golds, blacks, purples, reds.

- Your favorite style(s)?
I usually do simple inked lines and use traditional coloring for my drawings.

- Are you satisfied with your current art?
Meh... I'm always trying to improve, that's for sure.

- What kind of artist are you aiming for?
Just doing what I do and improving through practice. I'm too tough on myself for the most part when it comes to my art. lol

I'M FINALLY ON CHRISTMAS BREAK!!! :D
That means I can finally get off my duff and do some of these pictures from my project on here. I'm sorry for those of you who have been waiting. You probably want to shoot me right now for taking so long. :[ I plan on sketching 2 tonight and maybe try to color and scan them in. So just bear with me a little longer. Maybe I'll finish up the first project tomorrow and get on the next one while I'm on break.

But... mmmm... sleeping in = best. :]

So I have no art life right now because school is sucking out my very being with homework and exams. Now that spiel is out of the way,

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I have to say that my day/night has been a blast and I have enjoyed every second of it. As for my birthday being today, I was fortunate enough to get a ton of "Happy Birthdays" from my family and friends. And even though I may be too old, I was cool enough to go out and get me some candy. Who ever said that kids my age were too old to go trick-or-treating hasn't met the people I know... because we put ourselves into some spiffy costumes. I was a Gladiator at school and then I was an evil Mad Hatter tonight. As for my boyfriend and all my other friends, he was a big ol' nerd :P and the others were either nerds, a member of Watchmen, a old cat lady, a giant chick (baby chicken since many confused her for a duck) and the list goes on.

So, I realize that I have had a lack of uploads here and I'm sorry. :( Sadly, I'm so busy now that I rarely get free time to myself where I can actually draw something up. BUT I AM DETERMINED because I am still definitely going to finish the current projects I have started.

Oh yeah, did you guys know that my birthday is Halloween??? :D
So I am excited for that since I will hopefully be getting something I've been wanting for a while.

As for uploads, I'll try to be more consistent.

Today I'm doing a photography assignment which will involve some decked out masks and costumes in a cemetery with a friend of mine. Depending on how they turn out, I can upload them on DA and link anyone who is interested in seeing them. Let me know if you wish to see them because the more interest, the more I will want to post the finished product. They will be a bit photoshopped since there are certain things we have to respect in a graveyard (ie. names, writing on tombstones, etc.) so keep that in mind.

Hey guys!

So here's the deal!

1) As you guys have noticed, I am trying to get some art done to post up on here. Thank you for patience... and as you can see I am doing everything I can to keep up. :)

2) MY COMIC IS OFFICIALLY STARTING!!! I have currently inked the first page am about to scan it in and then digitally color it to the best of my ability. I'm so psyched to have it started, you have no idea.

3) I wanted to thank you guys specifically for all the support I've been getting these path (almost) 2 months since I joined FA. It's what makes me want to keep drawing animal related art like I do... so THANK YOU!!! <3

I AM ALIVE!

Just wanted to make that known after not updating much as of late.

Alright, so I'm officially healed for the most part and am capable of drawing again without feeling like crap. Thanks to everyone who wished me well because it really made my day. :) Lying in bed, bored out of your mind, can really make you want to draw up a storm.

Special Note: THANK YOU to everyone who has been patient about the art projects I am doing. You're awesome with the whole "give her rest and time" thing and I appreciate it.

I'm starting up school again - so that means that I won't be on AS frequent as I usually am. Please keep in mind that I have a lot of stuff going on... and that since this is a free art requesting project that I am going to take my time on it. Better to take a bit more time and put in a better effort than drawing something for the sake of it being out of the way, right? I'm not for one in rushing... but doing a good job. I hate not putting my best in something like my art.

So expect something hopefully this week. We'll see how the workload is for classes starting up again. I would love if it wasn't a buttload... seriously. O_o

Alrighty, so my dad brought up an interesting point the day I started drawing for my Free Myth Art Project (which was at first known as the Free Art Project #1 originally). Based on the detail and work I put into my drawings, he stated that I should try getting paid next time.

So here's my question!
Would you, or someone you know, be willing to commission me?

I'm just curious since I have never done it before... but the idea has dawned on me more than once over the past year. As you can tell from my recent submissions, I'm doing more than just wolves now.

This includes anthros, wolves, hedgehogs... the whole works. And if I was comissioned, I would be doing what the person is asking for, regardless of character species and whatnot.

Please help me by answering this... :D

Alrighty... so here's the deal.

I want to do something to try and get more into FA and meet some people.

The theme is Mythical Creatures. That means that dragons, wolves, lion, wild cats, and other animals that have designs you WOULD NOT see in reality.

I am offering to do a picture of 10 characters in my style. Depending on the creature, I will make a full body picture with traditional coloring.

All I need is for you to post you want to be a part of this and PLEASE SEND ME A LINK TO A PICTURE FOR REFERENCE. I'm sorry, but I'm not coming up with designs based on explanations... this just makes it a tad easier for me!!

First ten people to comment will get in. If this goes well, I might start doing this more often. It's up to you guys
