A Computer Question...
General | Posted 15 years agoSo I have a Dell Laptop, Inspiron 1300.
About a month and a half ago, the motherboard overloaded, because the universal power cable I was using was too powerful for it.... T_T
So My question is this, this much time later, is the hard drive data still recoverable?
As far as I know nothing is physically damaged on the harddrive, it's just the monther board that's fried.
I know very little about the internal working of computers... so if this is a dumb question forgive me XD
The laptop does not turn on either so yea....

General | Posted 16 years agoI like school, I enjoy learning, and I challenge people to give me a valid reason beyond it being hard, for not liking school. I think we all fail to realize how amazing it is until we leave it.
That said, im tired and have assignments to work on, but I wouldn't trade it for anything :D

The Heart and the Mind
General | Posted 16 years agoWe humans are an interesting creature. Hopefully this will not sound too weirrd, but here it does anyways.
Our lives are often ruled by two seperate opposing forces, namely out inds and our hearts. Our mind controls, in my opinion, the physical and the need components of our behaviours. It is the part that is responsible for making sure we attend work, school, fmaily events, ect.. those things which we are responsible for. It alson controls our urges aand needs and wants, things like food and sex.
The heart on the other hand controls the decision making around our emotions, those illogical states of being, which influence our actions. I believe that the heart creates the chaos in our lives. However, it also enables the feelings of love and longing.
I don't really know what my point is, but I can talk for myself, that the heart is both harmful and helpful, making up feel both strong and empowered on one had, and weak and helpless on the other.
I hope everyone has success with both. It is hard, but I hope people strke the balance neccessary, the heart to bring chaos and the brain to bring peace.
I personally struggle with my heart.

Computer Problems HELP!!!
General | Posted 16 years agoOk so im working on my term paper happy as well... a bunny, when i decided to take a little break, so i go surfing a few sites, turn off the comp and go have a shower.
I return and voila a virus! I havn't had a visur on my laptop since i got it, now fortunatly i managed to save my term paper and am working on the family comp, but ARRRGGGHHH XD
I don't know if any one can help, but im running my Window Defender now and hopefully that will work.
Any tips?
It shows up as Antivirus Live, and is popping with with "warnings" plus it won't let me run certain programs claiming tha tthe file is infected T_T. And it decided to open up random websites like porno and viagra X_X.
I really dont wanna have to take it to Staples or something else dumb. Any Advice?

Powercable is destroyed and been through 2 universal ones. The battery overheats and it has trouble charging. Sooooo

Met up with a Non-Specific FUR who spent the weekend, ended up reveling my furrieness and more to my entire family, has a "friend" ;) post some rather distrubing photos ;) and went to work.
