Have any of you participated in Inktober? Well this is like that but for NSFW art and in September! I put a lot of effort into this because I want to see as many NSFW artists do this as possible. I believe that NSFW art is often disregarded so this is an opportunity to band together and support each other. That being said, if you're a regular SFW artist, we would love you to participate as well!

A note about social media posting.

If your art is SFW then you can post it anywhere and use the hashtag #sexytember and #sexytember2023, but if its more raunchy, then you will have to post it in a more NSFW friendly community. Obviously here works as well as newgrounds, but where else would you post? I would love to include a whole list of NSFW friendly posting communities.

I want to be a little vulnerable here.

I'm usually a happy person, and I still am, but life lately has taken a hard turn. I try and be optimistic, but it can be hard sometimes. Yes, I'm going to therapy, and it helps. If you haven't figured it out, work has slowed down significantly for me to the point where its difficult for me to pay rent sometimes. I sat down and thought about my skills and I really don't have much except to draw.

In the past I thought about opening up myself to commissions (even asked some of you about it a while ago), but I never did for one reason or another. During the good times, it was because I was too busy with client work. During the bad times, it was because I was busy with... other family related things. I'd rather not get into that.

But now I'm at a point in my life that I'm reasonably confident in my work so, I've decided to put myself out there with commissions. If this is successful, I might open it up to different things like animations or full comics! If not, it'll likely just fizzle away into obscurity. Dramatic much? haha yeah probably ^_^

Well, I'm also at a point where I'm opening up to letting the community help me. During the good times, I would subscribe to some artists I like, on Ko-fi and Patreon and just give them a small amount of money per month as a way of showing my support. It felt good to give them that little, even if it was just a little bit because that little was at least a bit they didn't have before. So I decided to try that myself! I created a Ko-fi page and am open up to both commissions as well as donations or gifts. And, if you feel so inclined to give a little per month, that would be greatly appreciated!! It would go directly to helping with bills and rent.

I don't like to be vulnerable tbh but my therapist says I should live life with an open hand. So here it goes!

As Twitter figures out what the fuck its trying to do, and after the AI bullshit that DeviantArt got into, I'm going to try and diversify my posting.
