It has been a long time since I posted here. It has been a crazy ride for my family and I with COVID, my life balancing being a mother and teacher simultaneously, and taking care of my family in general that seems to be fraying with everything going on (lil Zoey losing her hair since COVID started, Lilly's 2nd cleft palate repair, Father's fight with cancer, mother's feet hurting, etc.)

For a while I have had the urge to draw but couldn't ever think of what to draw until very early this morning when I saw Scorp's picture of Mihari doing a particular pose. https://twitter.com/MihariCheetah/s.....00066680737793

While I admire people who can do this and has an awesome sense of balance TO do it, that is something I can't do x.x So my muse went "Hey.... HEY! LISTEN!!! You are a teacher.... so start small..... with THE CLOCK RUG!" and I just couldn't stop myself when I had time when the kiddos were napping today!

Just amazes me how it wakes up alla sudden and wants me to do it...... damn I miss drawing T.T I need to keep feeding my muse more stuff.

Skidd: My puppy was let out earlier this morning to go to the bathroom, and went missing, She is super tiny and snuck out from a small hole in our fence. I looked for her for a while and when I finally found her , she had got caught up in a chain link fence by her collar and almost choked to death. She is still alive.. and showing small signs of improvement, but they are wanting to charge me $1500 to give her the treatment she needs. And I don't want to lose her.

Someone has been trying really hard to cut me down lately... right to the point that meaningful gifts from me were considered "File 13" by the ones I gave them to. The one that sent me to tears was that one person who I really admire and someone telling me that the person I admire told them that they wouldn't consider me at all because I was beneath them...

Grey just held me and told me that if anyone truly though that, then they really didn't know me or was my friend.. because to him I was superior to anyone else out there. I may not be the best at some thing.. but to him, I was the best at loving him and our kids.

At 10am today, I had a volunteer of the Democratic Party of NC, that I was informed I could not state, ask me if I was willing to donate enough pizzas to feed 3000 people two slices of pizza by noon. Just doing basic math....

3000 people x 2 slices each = 6000 slices
6000 slices / 8 slices per pizza = 750 pizzas
750 pizzas cooked by 2 ovens ~ 120 pizzas per hour combined = ~6 hours to complete JUST the cooking (not the docking/slapping/saucing/cheesing/topping mind you)

Then when I got the math together, they then asked for "all specialties" because they think they would be received the best by their volunteers. I had to outright tell them it was physically impossible to do that many in that short amount of time, let alone with no notice so I didn't have no where even close to the amount of dough prepared and proofed for it. At most I told them I can get 100 and I have to get permission from the owner to do that many.

His response: You have just made a huge mistake on missing out on this prime marketing and PR opportunity. We will go to Papa Johns or Dominoes and they'll give us what we need in an hour.

I hung up and laughed my ass off! Don't know of many places who CAN crank out 750 pizzas within two hours with NO notice.


**as an addition, I did a bit more math than he did.... and since his large specialties cost about $16 a pop, that comes out to about $12,000 in pizzas.

All I can do is shake my head at the though process of some volunteer jackasses, no matter what party or affiliation because they do not understand the basics in food industry.

Hey all!

I actually want to get back into doing some streaming from gaming to showing some Gaki no Tsukai to drawing. I just want some feedback as to what I should choose since at one time I was outright told that picarto was a no-no to show anything but drawing.

It is just creepy as hell when I start to see advertisements here all based on a couple of searches I have done and where I live. Seeing political ads here is also kinda shocking but ones from my home state... jaw has dropped!

This week has been a mixed bag. My director basically cut about $93/week out of time due to "making me more efficient" in the classroom. Was told by another teacher it was due to my assistant taking a new job that pays $10+ more an hour a week after I went on maternity leave and she openly blamed me for it.Let alone she cut Zoey's slot so I had to find child care!

The owner of the center has since cut her responsibilities, esp on the financial front but no change to my schedule for the short term til i am back in the routine n will be evaluated by feb in a random inspection.

However my kids saw me n gave me the biggest hugs and have been awesome.

As for North Carolina pre-k.... let me do my damn job n stop having kids meet useless guidelines that only hamper their development n ecducation.

As for Lillyana.. my newborn. love her but damn i forgot how expensive formula was for daycare since they wont take breast milk due to storing n warming issues

By January I'll be back to work as a teacher... but that would involve me putting my newborn in a daycare... with an additional $560/mo expense that Grey and I cannot afford... and if I do not go back to work, we can't pay our bills...

banging my head against figures between debt management, debt settlement, and (heavens forbid) bankruptcy.... I don't know how I will be able to make all that extra finances up, especially since I'm no where close to popufur... let alone dunno if Grey and I will survive till March when we can "possibly" get help with the daycare.

Grey took his car in to the shop to get maintenance done and when they brought him back into the shop, they showed him that his brakes, rotors, and tires have been damaged..... at the tune of $900+

Ow... looks like Grey will be cooking at the house.

Well... I do have a job for this school year, which is awesome.. but when I took my daughter, Zoey, out to the park to celebrate with her, she got on the slide with me on the other side and started to go down. She saw a bug on the slide and jumped off the other side... and belly flopped... and then cried as she tried to get up, complaining about her left arm.

Took her to the hospital and found out she fractured her left clavicle (collarbone). Definitely not a happy mommy but Zoey will be okay. Will be in a sling for three weeks and will be evaluated for physical therapy purposes.

I got a call yesterday from the director of my pre-k to show up for a meeting yesterday afternoon. When I got there all the staff and teachers of my school was there. We were told that the state and county decided that all of the pre-k center slots were being moved to the local elementary schools to bring all the kids into one system for money saving purposes. However, that meant that we were all released from our positions.... with only a month and ten days to find new jobs either within the school system or at the private level when college grads already had about two months plus advantage above us to get jobs in them. In short, they can pay them less and us teachers that have 10-20 years plus are either left in the cold or scrambling for the fewer positions available or more distant locations to get those jobs.

So right now scrambling between 3-4 counties school systems applying for jobs as well as the unemployment office for other positions. Though some may criticize me for this but I am also applying for WIC/Food Stamps because I want to make sure Zoey has food to eat and Grey's paycheck isn't enough because bills still need to be paid and we have JUST enough money to survive through the summer.

**UPDATE** I already have a teaching interview lined up for next week with the state so it will be far better pay but more regulations and pains to deal with. Will do what I gotta do and will keep looking to make sure I have the best chance I can!

Tired...

Tired of being told to give up because they think my sketches are crap. Told so often to "get a real job" when I work as a teacher n dont even do commissions. Told so often my comic work will never be good when i do it for myself to remember stuff zoey did.

I do art for me! I do art as gifts to my friendd. I do art for stress relief. I do art because i enjoy it.

Granted i am a gaming nut n it eats up my drawing time like wildfire but i am me. I am nearly done with my masters in early childhood education. i have a wonderful hubby n daughter. i have a job that makes more than Grey! :D

I have wonderful friends and family. Haters, the only thing you do is tire me. my recommendation to you is simple. Open a curtain or door and let the light n fresh air in. it'll do wonders for ya.

Well, it is March now and since I'm too much of a Star Wars nerd, I think it's high time we declare it "Imperial March!" so best time to show one's love to your fave Imp, Sith, or others who are on the darker side of life for we all need a bit of light so we can see where we are going without banging our shins into tables or flipping onto your back by stepping on a sit n spin.

Another year has passed and so has another 24 hr batsu game.

Well, as per Grey's side of tradition, we put up the Christmas tree after we got home on Thanksgiving with Zoey, letting her put on ornaments. We unplugged the tree (or so we thought) and found it plugged in later. Same thing happened yesterday. This morning with the tree I KNOW was unplugged, I saw it come on... with Zoey right behind the tree. With the biggest puppydog face, she said she wanted to look at the gold-y lights and ornaments!

She is now officially excited for Christmas. MY lil three year old :D

Even nuttier... Grey left his computer unattended and we suddenly find Zoey on youtube... watching MLP. Neither of us know how she did it. She officially joined the herd squealing for Pinky

My paypal got cleaned out this week and a week ago, my bank account was hit but luckily the fraud protection stopped them from taking any money. For some reason when I checked, my bank account was not there and it was some bank called greendot in its place.
