I'm sorry all that I haven't posted anything new lately. I really do need to explain:

1. I am currently in the middle of my masters program in Early Childhood Education and working on my research study - which I have to defend in front of three professors. I failed my first defense (all three have to pass me and I didn't live up to one of their expectations) but I have another shot by July 16th so I've been working hard on it.

2. Zoey is a very ACTIVE two n a half year old girl who is too damned clever for her own good. When I'm not studying and Grey's not about, I have to watch her like a hawk because she has a tendency to want to get anywhere she can where she is not supposed to be. Her current favorite is to get anything so she can climb up onto the kitchen island and color herself in markers and pens.... followed closely by getting into Grey's gaming area.. and surprised that she figured out how to play Tetris on the NES..

3. I have seven pages of Day of Zoey sketched and about another half dozen written so it is still there but just need time and my muse to agree.

4. There is a lot of upheaval at my job right now with the director being forced out next week and it is causing a lot of drama. The board of directors have called me up to their office and discussed with me the possibility of me being promoted to that position since I am the only one in the center with Administration III certification. That is a HUGE opportunity for me.. but still have to compete for the job so I am currently getting opinions from family right now regarding the pros n cons.

5. Hubs right now is going through a ton of upheaval in his job as well. Within the past month, they lost the night manager, three insiders, and over half of their drivers leaving them with a skeleton head crew (I know everyone knows what a skeleton crew is - i.e., just enough to run the place - so just imagine with only having a skeleton head of a crew... both shifts Lunch and Dinner are suffering bad and the owners are laying it really heavy on Grey and his GM to get numbers to improve WHILE keeping that crew (i.e., Don't hire anyone new unless they are willing to work for $6.25/hr as a driver since they get tips and $7.25 for inside crew (which used to be $7.25 for drivers and $7.75 for insiders... and NO hope for raises or bonuses under this plan at all...)

6. STRESS STRESS STRESS STRESS from all of the above... so I do try to play some video games when I can to break the stress since my muse don't like my arts when I'm that stressed and isn't being cooperative... though it does find a fancy every once in a while (i.e., Akela, n others)

So hopefully as things start to settle down a bit I can get things working again! I love yuns to death and please take care of yourselves till we meet again.

Geordi LaForge or Kuma Kinte) is asking for our help to fund ways to continue Reading Rainbow in the classroom as well as other mobile apps so that kids can continue to get this... FOR FREE! Schools don't have to buy it.. they are given it so they can teach kids the joys of reading.

Those very words were issued on Monday, almost eerily foretelling his own death now that I look back at it. Many people I've seen already jumped on the bandwagon and claimed drug overdose and steroid use as causes for his death as well as predicting who will die next with a grin on their face and their cock in the other.

That doesn't matter.

What matters was that at 5:50 pm (Western Daylight Time) he was walking to the car with his family at their home when he collapsed. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital as all attempts to revive him failed. He left behind a wife and two daughters, all whom he loved very deeply as well as they loved him. They lost their husband and daddy in one fell swoop... something they can never get back.

Granted that I started watching wrestling with my daddy the very day that WrestleMania 3 was going on and I saw Hogan bodyslam Andre' the Giant. I grew up watching greats like the Warrior, Hogan, Jake "The Snake", DiBiase, Randy Savage, and so many others and was entertained by them greatly. As I get older now... all of these childhood idols are slowly going, ending my childhood memories and it truly makes my inner child cry though all I can say is this.

Rest in Peace Warrior, prayers and love to your family, coworkers, and family......

I love the hubs and love doing that with 'im too, but sometimes I need a different perspective and thought process to break up my stress and mood.

FUCK April fools and my class for going nuts on the other kids. Having 16 four year olds going crazy on a warm day after being cooped up during a crazy winter is NOT fun. Puts a damper on my muse and my gaming sensibility where I just sit in front of the computer and go.... "What now".

Between various issues on both sides of my family, the stress and drama needs a friggin' boot to the head.

My muse is reawakening and starting to do sketches again. Day of Zoey is still going on as I have 6 pages rough sketched, just nothing on the digital end yet as my muse is more interested in doing other sketches first to get my hand back in gear.

Hopefully Ill keep my muse fed and happy to continue drawing more :P

All I can say is, is WOW!

I'm really starting to get really pissed off at this.

I noticed at first it was some kinda form of a google redirect virus (changes google searches to other sites not related to what I clicked on) and I've been unable to clean it off (used programs from malwarebytes to tdsskiller).

However, when I started to play a new game called War Thunder, I noticed my connection was shot and someone suggested I try to fix my Windows Firewall (which I thought wasn't on at all). So I tried it and bam... error 0x8007042c. Went to Microsoft for support, went through all their hoops and it was some dependency issue (error 1068). Tried to go through those hoops and failed again.

Why cant they just say okay.. lets just give you a clean/reinstall program for it

For those not in the know, I spent the greater part of a week on a road trip to and from Florida for my brother's wedding with my parents, grandfather, and Zoey. The wedding was an oceanside wedding and was really beautiful at sunset.

Zoey however didn't have the patience for it and wanted to explore, getting fussy when I wouldn't let her and got even worse at the reception. She didn't like the idea of someone holding her back when on one side of the reception was a pool and the opposite side was a channel for sailboats/small ships to pass through to the lake on the other side. Zoey is too curious for her own good and I couldn't let her explore with so many dangers around.

The trip however, she was really good. She was kept entertained by my dad and grandpa and at other times through a rented SUV with a DVD player so she could watch some Minnie Mouse or Blues Clues.

Got my dad pissed at me through the trip. On the way back, we stopped at a gas station to fill up and we didn't know he slipped out of the SUV to get himself something to snack on and we drove off. My grandpa chimed in after we got on the road for a couple of minutes and said jokingly,"So I guess we ARE leaving Ben in Georgia". At that point I slammed on the brakes after my mom and I screamed "WHAT!" (with Zoey laughing at us along with grandpa when he did it) at the same time and turned around. My dad was so pissed at us, even more so when my grandpa started running his mouth talking trash and Zoey laughing. He calmed down soon enough though when we treated him to a steakhouse lunch in SC. I swear he and Grey are the two quietest guys I've ever met that could sneak out of anywhere and not be noticed until it is too late.

Overall it was a great trip! Glad I could see my older brother FINALLY get married. He is a really sweet guy and deserves it so much. Love my new sister too :D (refuses to say sister-in-law.. way too impersonal).

I have the next part of Day of Zoey sketched out, just haven't had time to really work on it. Plan on doing so this weekend sometime if Zoey allows me to. She is just getting into so much I have to watch her like a hawk.. especially since she wants to pull up some carpet and do what toddlers do best... put it in their mouths.

This is some things I want for Christmas

1. For my daughter, Zoey, to get over her nasty ear infection
2. For my husband,  Greybow, to have his knee completely healed
3. For my husband to be able to get back to work. It pains me to see how stressed out he is because he truly loves making food for people and seeing their reaction and joy.
4. That the doctors find what is ailing my father, he survived Colon cancer but is having issues which I think they missed a hole.
5. That Grey's brother-in-law gets out of the hospital. His upper left chamber seems to be beating very irregularly and has been in the hospital for the past 3 days. Seeing Anna in so much pain I just need to hug her when I visit her.
6. That Grey's sister-in-law gets out of the hospital. Her brain has a lot of pressure on it that it is spilling out from the base of the skull. This is the fourth time she's been in the hospital and hopefully they will find something.
7. That all my friends within the Katbox and the world over have an even greater year than this one.
8. That Grey reaches graduation in May without losing his mind!
9. That "Day of Zoey" continues and gains steam throughout the year next year and I stay regular with it.
10. That I can at least make it to one convention and give at least one friend a hug/smooch/swat. You know who you are by each one!
11. Finally, that Zoey enjoys her new friends until she is moved up into the toddler room next month.

... days that you just want to just smile? Well, Zoey has been doing that for me a lot lately and it has been helpful to my stress level. Grey was making some smart remark that I wouldn't be able to stop him from going to the store and Zoey just spit up her milk and just gave a laugh that spoke a thousand words of how it won't happen, getting both of us to laugh our tails off!

Anyways, not gonna try to advertise anymore until the holidays are over. The big boys are all knocking for commissions and leaves us lil girls acting like Oliver ("Please suh, can I have sum more?"). So I'm just gonna draw and enjoy my holidays :D Definitely need to after this past year.
