Hey guys! I just wanted to make a journal since things have been quiet on my page.

I recently got a new job (yay!) working as a retail associate, which has been stressful and tough on me physically, and sometimes has long hours. Because of this, my art has slowed down quite a bit... I apologize for this, especially to my commissioners. I ask humbly for your patience and understanding while the holiday season keeps me incredibly busy and tired because of Black Friday and Christmas sales! I will be tired, but I will work my hardest on my days off to keep finishing up art commissions.

Please keep in mind that my inbox is open! I am more than happy to keep communications open between me and my commissioners if you have questions or would like to know an approximate date for finishing up your artwork.

I've gotten 2 paid commissions and 2 in-the-works commissions since I asked for help. I just wanted to thank everyone who boosted my artwork and helped me out while I was struggling. You're wonderful people.

I have four dollars to my name. Including savings.

I need business, bad. I hate making "emergency" commissions or begging posts, but I am really getting desperate. I can't afford groceries, to help with bills... I am essentially useless and my boyfriend is unable to keep paying for everything the way he's been, lately, plus I feel guilty as all hell making him cover for me because I can't make enough money.

Hey guys! I'm babysitting a dog up in the desert alone with my boyfriend (aw yiss) so I won't be available for a couple of days.

I think he does, usually, but if I wanted to I could probably out-eat him. Especially if sushi is involved :P

He did, but accidentally and didn't realize it until I pointed it out later. At the time, though, I was like 0///0 OMG DID HE SAY WHAT I THINK HE DID???

3. Who is the morning person?
He is. He always wakes up earlier than me and then I take over the whole bed and sleep in >:3

4. Who sings better?
I really like listening to him sing when we're alone, but I sing more often and in public and louder. So, I'm not really sure, because I haven't heard him sing very loud/over the volume of the songs on the radio.

He's a year older than me.

He's smart but lazy while I'm smart and like learning stuff. Both of us have our strengths, I think. I'm just glad he's not dumb :P

I think his is worse in the fact that he voices his complaints with people more often and more loudly than I do, but I have a habit of keeping quiet about things that piss me off until it all bubbles to the surface and I snap at every little thing and end up exploding after stewing about things too long.

A dog lives here that I don't like, but it's not ours. We don't live alone, so.

Both of us split the bills.

Me, and it's either stir fry or something very Southern (US).

He's more stubborn than me, but that isn't to say I'm not stubborn at all. I can butt heads with the best of them if something is important enough to me!

Mm, it depends on the situation. When we're in an argument, we spend some time apart to cool off and both of us apologize and figure things out like adults. I feel like both of us speak up when we know we've been asshats.

21. Whose family do you see more?
We live with his mom and grams (Mexican family). The only family I speak to is my sister.

22. Who named your pet?
He named the pom that lives here "Meeko", like the raccoon from Pocahontas.

23. Who kissed who first?
I ran up to him at the airport when we first met in person and kissed him. A lot.

24. Who asked who out?
He asked me, twice. I refused at first because of long distance and complicated family issues, but said yes later when I was like "fuckit he's great"

25. What did you do on your first date?
We went to the Florida Aquarium and had Mai Tais at the bar after squealing at cute otters and penguins.

26. Who’s more sensitive?
We're both pretty sensitive and emotional people. This can be bad at times when one of us accidentally hurts the other one's feelings, but the two of are also very understanding of bad moods or mood swings, so we're cool. He drives me nuts sometimes though, because he won't talk about things that bother him that don't have anything to do with me and just goes through a funk while I'm just like 'TELL ME WHAT'S WROOONG'

27. Who’s taller?
He's like, four inches taller than me. That being said, we're both short people.

28. Who has more friends?
At the moment, he does. I've been sort of estranged from all my old friends because of complicated circumstances :/ I still have my sister though!

29. Who has more siblings?
We both have one sibling. His is a half-brother that he didn't grow up with, though, so he's essentially an only child.

30. Who wears the pants in the relationship?
I feel like both of us have equal say. We keep each other in check or give a kick in the ass when needed.

I'll be back from my mini-hiatus from working on forum contest fun stuff, so the commission queue will begin again!

So there I was, at a laser tag place, drawn in by the flashing lights of DDR. "I used to be good at this in high school," I told myself. "I'm a little out of shape now, but it'll be fine!" I said.

End of the song required three jumps, and on the last jump there's a loud CRACK, pain, and my knee pops sideways, and I just sort of crumple. And I'm here know typing at this awkward angle while my leg's up on pillows and shit with ice on top.

Only someone as dorky as me would go down because of DDR... >.<
