-MOVED-
Posted 7 years agoHello again | Re-re-introductions
Posted 7 years agoI havn't posted here in a while. For a reason, yes, but I still remember that there are folks here I may have been leaving behind. Even so, I would like to take some time and let folks know what I'm up to these days.
Life is honestly... better than I could have dreamed it would be years and years ago. I've gotten pretty deep into both a concept and community of Postfurry, which is a whole other post in its' own right. I spend my time after graduation struggling to find a job amidst gender transition. After way too long, I got a seasonal internship doing technical support for local schools. Which, as rewarding as working in education is.... Isn't what I went to school for. Over the course of my work, I made my plans to move to Seattle more and more solid. Finally, in October, I took a trip there and spend over a week with friends there, which was enough to sell me on the good and the bad of the area. As I write this, I am in Seattle now, where I live, and even saying that feels exciting and surreal (as surreal as postfurry gets). I have been living in a wonderful, furry communal house here for just over a week, and am still generally trucking along through the boring, "on hold forever" parts of the moving process.
Over the past year and so since I last posted, I also have been getting therapy and have gotten a long way in addressing my long untreated PTSD, as well as DID, Depression, anxiety, and ADD. It has been a difficult road, but despite all the hardships I've had... to think that I am healing, finally, and have achieved a dream I've had for so, so long is honestly immensely empowering. I am still deeply in love with Ark, and am currently with two other wonderful folks (polyamorous as fuck TBH).
In addition to being very polyamorous, my self-discovery didn't really stop at being trans. Even in the topic of gender, I have discovered and accepted that I am -very- much nonbinary, and fluid. I'm also extremely otherkin, which is something I very well could go on and on and on about, but won't. I've had a bit of a spiritual awakening both relatedly and unrelated to this, and still choose not to label it, though very self-driven and very neo-pagan-adjacent. It has been a wild year and so, but I finally feel like I'm on a track of full self-acceptance, however weird my qualia and experiences are. One Post can't rightly explain my sense of self to others anymore, and I am not exactly asking that others understand. I have a lot of folks around me who understand ^_^. I'm immensely happy, however, and it all has given me purpose and so much sense to my world. I feel like I am exactly where I'm meant to be, and exactly where I -want- to be.
Oh, gosh, I'm an otter now! Lutrineptunian, to be precise! or a Neptunian Otter! The details of that are complicated and unnecessary, honestly, but suffice to say I'm an alien, synthetic nanoprene (nano+neoprene) otter :)
I am still writing. a lot of my stuff can be found on my Weasyl (solskunk), or randomly posted bits of freewriting on twitter (@oneironott) or mastodon (@oneironott@awoo.space). I have a few pieces in the works, one of which is a liminal attempt at second-person hypnosis, which I find incredibly interesting. It's slow going, mostly because of my move, but I hope to have more things up in the future.

Life Update and Re-Introductions
Posted 9 years agoIt's been well over a year at this point since my last journal, and life updates are going to feel more like re-introductions, so I feel like maybe I should treat it as such.
Hello, my name is Summer~! My fursona is a rabbit now, and I go by this name both in the fandom and IRL. I started hormones in October of 2015, and have become a lot less confused about things due to both hormones and time. I am, and have always been, a girl, and I can't express how unbelievably better my life has been since going down this path. The depression that hindered and defined much of my entire life is gone, I am so much happier and emotionally whole, and for once I actually feel like a functional person.
I've made this journey, and continue to make it, with
akkeresu, whom I've only grown into a much bigger, better person with <3. I never posted a follow up to my trip to see him, but that perfect week still flows vividly through my mind. We have arrived happily at a polyamorous relationship, which has been another eye opening thing for me to explore.
I am graduating, finally, in a few weeks with my Associate's of Applied Business in Computer Science / Software Engineering. What started as what I'll freely admit was a begrudged acceptance of what was a step lower than my true passion in life, Music and Writing, has truly become a passion in mine. I have a few projects I plan on working on in my spare time as I work on resume stuff, look around for jobs, and network. If nothing happens on that front, I plan on going back for my BA in Software Engineering.
Either way, my ultimate goal in a year or two is Seattle. I've always wanted to move away from Cleveland (Gee, I wonder why), and Seattle seems like a beautiful place that is full of opportunity for my major, along with having a large contingent of folks I consider friends living in the area.
akkeresu and I have set sights on this prospect, and I plan on doing everything in my power to make it a reality.
And now, to be sappy, I havn't talked to many of you in so, so long. I realize this is a medium in which a lot of the people who will read this are my older friends who I havn't talked to in well over a year, perhaps. So I talk to you~
Thank you so, so much. I love you all more than I could ever express. Many of you will never know what impact you've made on me, or how much you've helped me survive my turbulent past. I will, as always, continue to be your friends, whether we still talk or whether we havn't talked in years.
[I am currently active on Twitter and Telegram (both at summbunny ) as well as Discord ( @Summbunny#9417 ). I am also much more active on Weasyl (@Solskunk ) ]
I'll end this with a song that does a good job describing with melody how I feel these days ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWDRHqTXhuI )

MFF info, Life updates, etc!
Posted 11 years agoSo as I stated in an earlier journal, I am going to MFF. I will be rooming with
gnarl,
theheliumtiger,
dragonien, and someone else I can not recall the name of right now! I'll be staying thursday through until early sunday, when I'm flying out to visit
akkeresu for a week :)
For those who havn't or don't follow my twitter, I came out of the closet over on there as trans. It is an ongoing process of discovery, but I have been actively hiding my gender issues for years now, and am finally sick of being in the closet. I am still unsure if I am fully trans, or if I am more genderfluid, but I know there is a large part of my that is female, and always has been. I have taken to liking either neutral 'they' pronouns or 'she', and would prefer it at MFF. I may point it out, but I do not see wrong pronoun usage angering me too much (only if it is repeatedly ignored), as I do not even mind male ones (they/she is more a preference!). I am glancing over the topic here only because I've been talking about it a LOT on my twitter, but any questions are welcome :)
so Yeah ^^'

Anthrocon 2014 and other conventions this year.
Posted 11 years agoJust thought I'd post here for those not following me on twitter and/or didn't already know, I will NOT be going to Anthrocon this year. Unfortunately, money is too tight, but since I'm only a few hours from the con, I MIGHT see if I can go for a day or two if budget allows.
As far as other cons go, it's not looking like I'll be able to go to MFF due to them rescheduling the con during finals. I'm hoping I will have a chance to go to at least one con next year, but I can't say it's looking likely.

Music Log 11.28 A little mix for post MFF bliss~
Posted 12 years agoSo~ I thought I'd do another one of these. New music for me has been scarce since a lot of my time has been taken up by schoolwork and the like. Either way, on with it~
Whoo this doozy. 13 minutes long and worth every bit. A lot about deadmau5 and his personality make me cringe, but ever once in a while he'll do something that leaves me in awe, and this is definitely one of them. Chill and melodic disrupted by abrupt, unnearving inception-horn-esque blares and a pulsing beat. (Say what you will about the "overdone" nature of the inception blare, but it can be done INCREDIBLY well (ex: Mass Effect 3 OST https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGHA9oO1Ybg))
Yeah right? Frickin Juno Reactor? It turns out they came out with an album this year, and it's RIDICULOUS. I hadn't listen to them in years, so it was quite something to revisit them again, and surprising to hear the new album being much like the old stuff, but better.
Machinedrum is versatile and.. interesting. Either way, this is one of my favs. Liquid DnB-esque and very chill. I dig.
Amazing song and even more amazing music video. Moderat (Modeselektor + Apparat) throws a really catchy beat and a song that stands out by itself, with hand-drawn old comic style that's full of story and symbolism. I can't quite interpret it myself past the basics, but it's incredibly nice to look at and full of style. Very worth watching for the video, if nothing else. Also check out their song No. 22 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkwHpGo-fRs) For a different vibe. Bass heavy, yet chill
Ulrich Schnauss is on the top of my list as far as chillout artists go, and this entire album he did with Jonas Munk Is ridiculous good. This song in particular is one that had me in awe and still has a huge spark of magic every time I listen to is. How often do you hear a electronic waltz? 3/4 time is a bit rare in electronic music, but this song rocks it like nothing I've ever heard. It makes me romantic, it makes me dreamy eyed, it makes me hopeful and it makes me fantasize. There's something about this song that strikes a chord in me that has probably shot it to the top of my 'favorite songs' list (if not, near the top!)

Music Log 7.21 Why 'Dusk to Dawn' may be my favorite album
Posted 12 years agoAlternate Title: Solstice over-analyzes an album
So, It's rare I do an in depth album look, but I've given so much thought to this album since it's release that I felt the need to at least put those thoughts out there.
Emanciptor is a Trip-Hop artist must known for tracks like "Lionheart" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbv-yqqmLH0). I suppose arguable, they have carried a very wintery theme through a lot of songs, and a lot of sounds they use have reflected that (somehow, which is amazing to me in its' own right. Over the years I have developed a taste and craving for these scenic sounds and atmospheric composition. "Anthem" (http://youtu.be/wy28qRyQfEE) sounds like the dead of winter as much as "Soon it will be Cold Enough to Build Fires" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRgPIbSX1mg) sounds as its' name suggests (late fall), and as Chicane's "Low Sun" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqM9DyDZyHk) sounds like a hot summer's day.
Someone could argue that the titles of some of these songs and albums, as well as album covers can simply implant these thoughts and scenic images in our heads, but I definitely think it is much more than that. Although I am by no means an expert (or even casual listener) of classical music, I'm sure fans of such have more an idea and could vouch more eloquently for the images and emotions such composition can invoke. Even with little experience in the matter, you can most easily take a song like Chicane's aforementioned "Low Sun" and Emancipator's "Soon it will be cold enough..." and see why the sounds and chords used can invoke such pictures. It is especially easy with "Low Sun", as every sound has that going for it.
But getting back on topic, 'Dusk to Dawn', Emancipator's most recently released album, doesn't so much carry a tone of winter as it does a tone of, as the name suggests, time of day.
As a disclaimer, this is all my opinion on listening, By the way, so could just as easily be reaching here.
Anyway, Even though the album title is 'Dusk to Dawn', the progression to me is the opposite (Dawn until Dusk), though I suppose someone could make an argument towards the other way around. And here I will attempt to describe why: (These tracks are also on Spotify, if you use that!)
Track 1: Minor Cause (http://youtu.be/lMpL-bmB1r4)~ 6AM - 9AM
These first few songs are why I tend to say it begins more with Dawn than Dusk. This song carries a very upbeat, hectic, fast moving, yet -blooming- sound (overall pace and drums, combined with violin) within it that I tend to attribute with the fast moving nature of most work mornings, and the beauty of watching the world wake up from sleep (violin!).
Track 2: Valhalla (http://youtu.be/JkFYkMYAXzw) ~ 9am - Noon
This song carries a very smooth, steady and relaxed flow, especially compared to Minor Cause. It seems to signify that time of day where you're finally awake and getting in the groove of things. Interestingly to that, even the song changes pace a bit halfway through to a jumpier, more energetic one, sort of passing time even within the song itself.
Track 3: Merlion (http://youtu.be/wIIOrUwmAFE) ~ Noon - 2pm
This track has many of the same emotion as the previous, but to me sounds a bit more 'winded down', with a mix of anticipation in it. Like the time of day where you aren't quite getting antsy to get out of work, or if not at work, everything is just in a groove. The violin comes back closer to the end, which with the significance in it in Minor Cause, seems to beam that mid-day feeling with a bit of anticipation growing.
Track 4: Outlaw (http://youtu.be/hctYDj76tv4) ~ 2pm - 4pm
Like with Merlion, there seems to me to be an emotion akin to anticipation in there. The track has a slower feel with the same groove, but some of the instruments carry a mysterious sound to it. I imagine the sun beaming down hot on a summer day with the last hours of work going by and that antsy feeling of just wanting to get out.
As mostly carried by the instruments, Tracks 1-4 carry that antsy antipation, or so I am very inclined to say it so. Especially 2-4 with that relaxed groove of finally getting productive and into the morning feeling in Valhalla, the violin in Merlion invoking similar feelings as it did in Minor Cause, and finally very different sounds in Outlaw combined with the slowed, dragging pace.
Track 5: Dusk to Dawn (http://youtu.be/vWfzLpfslzI) ~ 4pm - 6pm
This track seems to solidify this anticipation theme I feel in previous tracks, the vocals and energetic beat form a celebratory sound.
Track 6: The Way (http://youtu.be/iUIu6w8lTkE) ~ 6pm - 8pm
Like Dusk to Dawn, but the vocals and some instrumental use drive a more spiritual anticipation with still a hint of celebration. These two tracks in particular seem to make me feel like the entire album is leading up to dusk, and there has been this gradual anticipation of such.
Track 7: Afterglow (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFDcNbqedJg) ~ 8pm - 10pm
I'll be damned if this isn't my favorite song on the album, and one of my favorite songs overall. As previously stated, it's as if the entire rest of the album is an anticipation of this moment. Anyway, the first half of the song carries a steady groove and a strong mysterious vibe. There's a moment near 2:17 I remember quirking an eyebrow to and the following bits are so intense! You can feel it all ramping up to the moment at 3:38 where holy crap! Wait.. dubstep? Did Emancipator just do a DROP and shatter all my expectations of them thusfar? That's exactly what I remember thinking when I first heard this song and is amazed me, because it's not only one of the LAST things I expected them to do, it WORKS and it works WELL. The slowed tempo creates this progression into dusk, and finally night, that works so well.
Track 8: Eve II (http://youtu.be/Kk5scsTBRFI) ~ 10pm - 12am
Eve II carries the slow tempo into night with starry, twilight sounds. Not much more to say, I suppose.
Track 9: Natural Cause (http://youtu.be/ROgInqu9-mM) ~ 12am - 3am
This track is more upbeat, but still carries a evening sound in the piano and other instruments. I suppose this is the only track that really disrupts my interpretation of it all. I imagine a city, with most of the inhabitants winding down or sleeping, but there is still enough groove in the nightlife of the city to keep some people going. It also sounds a bit reminiscent, as if looking back on the day itself.
Track 10: Galapagos (http://youtu.be/zl34sZlboZk) ~ 3am - 6am
Atmospheric, ambient, and peaceful to go with the dead of night when most are asleep in bed and the world has winded down.
Ahem! So this is why I love this album so much, I think I either hit the nail on the head or I'm trying to hit a nail into a refrigerator. Either way, Few albums carry such a strong meaning throughout and execute it so well as Dusk to Dawn, and even if no one ever reads or follows me this far, I felt the need to put it somewhere to get my thoughts out on the matter!

Music Log 7.11 Summer
Posted 12 years agoI've discovered a lot of good music backlogged I've yet to share :)
captainfurry flattered me at AC, so I thought I'd do another one of these (and hopefully more often). I like posting this stuff both for others to see and for the hell of it~ so here we go :)
Jquintel is like some groovey god or something. Every remix they do of an Incontext track is deep and easy to listen and groove to. I literally just caught this particular song and figured I'd throw it on here :). Also IDK what's up with the actual video. ignore the subaru or something.
It's not often I pay attention to behind the scenes music crap, but Deadmau5's contract or something with Ultra was up. Apparently it tied him down as far as really experimenting and doing what he wanted, which I suppose is all a side effect of some labels. Deadmau5 doesn't exactly need exposure anymore. At any rate, this little WIP caught my eye, and I'm pretty excited about what he might do in the future, even though I havn't been a fan of most of his stuff since 'I Remember'
My friend, Oddy, shot me this over and I've been really feeling this. Definitely going to give De-Phazz more an eye in the future. Downtempo, soulful, trip-hop-esque awesomeness.
Oh Aphex Twin. I've always been meaning to take a closer look at Aphex Twin, because it's been one of those ever present artists of whome I tend not to like much of their popular works. Tracks like Windowlicker that everyone else seems to like, Don't do much for me. Then I stumble on such soothing, minimal tracks like this... If there's one thing I'm sure of it is that I respect James a hell of a lot. I absolutely love ambient tracks like this, where they draw you in and after like.. 5 minutes you realize there's really not much to the song, but every bit that is there is just perfect.
Also I might say this video is awesome for the song! That's all :)
Another groovy repetitive track, but I love it :)
EDIT:
Forgot I wanted to include this! I love this remix :)
And sure, why not this:
The Flashbulb is definitely one of my favorite artists and has been for some time. This entire album is up there in my top 10 definitely. TBH, I don't normally like glitchy, break-core, noisey IDM, but he has a strange way of making all that chaos not only seem intended, but BEAUTIFUL.

Anthrocon 2013 Information
Posted 12 years ago- I will be there starting Thursday.
- I am rooming at the Omni with
holodrom,
flexico,

skyewilde
-Best way to get a hold of me is by text to 440-637-two-six-three-seven. It's a Google Voice number, but even so, don't abuse it. Unless it is to hang out, I likely will be ignoring it a lot. If I don't have your number already, make sure to include who you are!
-I am all up for hanging out! Mornings and afternoons will be chill, nights will be drinky. I'm trying to make it a point to hang out with people I don't always have the ability to see.
-I don't mind hugs, but if I don't know you all that well, try not to be to physical, or it'll make me feel awkward.
Not sure what else there is to say :) If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Furry Art Feedback Idea (IMPORTANT (to me). Please read)
Posted 12 years agoI had an idea a while back that I tossed around my twitter and said I was going to pitch other places. I hope this picks up interest (and want to try and pitch is where I can). As a writer in the fandom, I've always been aggravating at the lack of attention to my writing. I am lucky enough to get a couple people who actually read it, not to mention people who give it constructive criticism.
So I really want to try and start some sort of a system that furry writers, especially, can trade pieces and give and receive feedback. I have little clue how I am going to do this, but wanted to pitch a few things on my mind.
-Just Writing? Not sure if I want to include other mediums. Yiffstar/SoFurry did this and (IMO) it overshadowed the writing (even though they are still the best furry website for it). On the other hand, I know for a fact that there'd be artists and musicians who would love feedback as well.
-Where? As of right now, that seems very easy to answer. FA, SoFurry, and Weasyl would be the sites I'd want to throw this at....
-...and when I say throw this at I mean... I am not talking an entirely different site. I don't see how this needs to be more complicated than a group on those sites, performing through journals.
-Does it exist? I am not sure if something like this exists. If it does, I'd love someone to point it out. If it does exist, I would love to join it, pimp it, or even help them out.
-Anonymous or not? I don't want grudges, so I wonder if anonymity would be the best bet for something like this. If so, I imagine a system of assigning numbers and being able to keep track personally of people that way (so it could still be monitored for people not contributing, ect) wouldn't be -too- hard to devise, but I am also busy doing stuff outside of this, so It might be too much to handle for me. Ideally, I'd like to just randomize swaps and let it run itself (save dealing with non-contributors
-Limits- I imagine for poetry, 3-5 depending on length. Fiction/non-fiction as 1500-5000ish words.
Perhaps have two seperate catagories, one for adult and one clean
keep enforcement based on that and ample feedback.
Not sure on feedback limits, but I don't want it too high. something between 250-500 words seem good.
Make sure people know they do not have to submit things every period, but they can ALWAYS give feedback
Develop some sort of warning/punishment system for no or not adequate feedback. I am tempted to make it more strict like one warning, then suspend on repeat offense. repeating this another time will result in being banned from contributing.
-How often? I initially pictured a monthly thing, but perhaps twice a month. I suppose this all depends on how much participation is involved.
-Keeping Track I want to make it so that contributors can submit the same works for multiple periods for more feedback, but keeping track of that would prove difficult. I'm thinking Ideally I would automate it so each contribute is given a sequence of numbers and each grouping of works is given a sequence so that way I can somehow make it so that they won't get paired with the same person who gives them feedback twice.
I know programmers. It can work.
-Discounts? I have the completely-not-fleshed-out idea of trying to get artists and/or writers to give discounts for participation. Again, this all depends on demand. I would NOT, however, want to make it part of the requirements to participate, because I think that would kill interest in the matter. Maybe it would be as simple as encouraging people to give discounts, IDK.
All in all I -want- this to work. This is the very beginnings of my musing on this matter, but if you want to share this with people who might be interested, feel free. I could use peoples' thoughts on the matter.

Posted 12 years agoThe lives we weave
Posted 12 years agoIt always sucks when I hear of a well loved furry passing away like
lemonade_coyote, it's hard. It's even harder when they are taken in such an abrupt way as being hit by a drunk driver. I find myself feeling very strongly toward this and it often makes me angry.
Angry at the world for being so, so fucked up as to reward the wicked and take from us grand heroes
Angry at the drunk driver for making such a careless, stupid mistake.
Angry at myself for feeling so, so strongly towards someone I never knew or met as to want to well up and cry.
Perhaps this time it is the weird workings of the mind misattributing the grief in events of my own life.
But I digress, it isn't about me. It's just a weird thing that I feel so strongly just because it's another furry, but it isn't even really about furries. It's about the fragility of our own being. It's knowing that this incident could have happened to any of the people I or you reading this call a friend. It was a fine enough feeling at first, how I initially reacted, and still try to. Death could happen to any of us any time so love your friends to death and make every minute of it count, right?
But it is harder as life goes on, because saying that when it is someone you don't know is one thing, but as I get older I fear that it won't be the same when the people that start passing are my personal friends. That's the real reason these deaths affect me so much, I feel, because from the inside to those who are personally affected by the passings of people like Lemonade, it is reality and on the outside to people like us, it is a looming reminder of the reality we will inevitably face.
Lemonade Coyote, I never knew you and apparently some of my friends did. If their grief is any indication of your person, then I am truly honored to be called a human being along side of you.
And the same goes to most others who have passed, and probably everyone reading this too. You are loved, and your lives are valuable. If you're a friend, then I love you so much and thank you for being there. If you're a passer by then think of this as coming from a friend, and love that friend.

A little PSA about this drama
Posted 12 years agoWeasyl is in open beta now, so you can register without an invite now. What you are seeing is not a mass exodus of FA, it's just two things happening coincidentally that makes it look a bunch of people are leaving due this drama. While some might be leaving, it's just a handful. Please stop adding to the uninformed furry hype machine.
Music Log 1.26: awesome songs from 2012 I discovered
Posted 12 years agoI may not be able to embed the videos, but I can link them!
So this song is groovy and simple. I love it. This video is absolutely crazy, too. I had to be one of those people, but obviously this is a very.. drug inspired thing. I must say I really, really love Ambers voice and the lyrics to go along with this song. I have no idea what it all means, let along the video, but somehow I get this strong vibe toward the end (you'll know when)
HUGE. once 0:40 hits, my mind goes absolutely nuts. That layer in the background feels like a wave of a thousand colorful lights washing over my body. I can't get enough of tracks like this. These sounds strike me as audio orgasms.
Also, I first learned about Madeon from this video years back, which is worth a watch (http://youtu.be/lTx3G6h2xyA). Those launchpads are seriously awesome.
The thing I soon loved about House music was that is isn't all just dancy and formulaic. Don't get me wrong, this song is still dancey, and any genre/subgenre is going to formulaic to some extend, by nature, but this particular song has a very soothing groove that hits you very strongly. The video meshes well and is very interesting and stylish while not overpowering the video. It's all a very good background groove and video.
BTW, the original is very worth hearing too. (http://youtu.be/YyOdS9N-WXk)
Don't judge me.
This song has a very oldschool vibe to it, and besides the video, I have really no reason to say that. I don't even know how to describe why I like this song so much, I just do. It's not trying to be anything more than what it is.
http://memegenerator.net/instance/32904745
But seriously, this is pretty classic Pryda. Still very good, though.
IDM-y, weird groove that is very enjoyable to me, at least. Even if you don't like it, I suggest fast fowarding to about... 2:44 ish. Shit gets furry.
Like Hot Chip - Flutes (Sasha remix), this song is groovy as hell and I am in love with this video. Just plain cool.
IDM isn't everyone's cup of tea, and it usually isn't mine, but damn.. it's Squarepusher. How can I not love Squarepusher?
As a warning, there are a few screeches in this song, so don't turn your volume up TOO high. I consider that a general IDM warning though.
So, true story. A few years ago I went to DEMF (Detroit Electronic Music Festival... or Movement as it is called.), and
draconum really turned my on to Ghostly International. Although I had not been a big fan of Matthew Dear's stuff, this song is ridiculously awesome. Oozes groove.
AAAND FINALLY.
HD, FULL SCREEN, RELAX. While not technically 2012 (2013!), this single absolutely blows my mind. Previous things I've heard from Emancipator don't even come close to how absolutely beautiful this song is to me. The video, as well, is very beautiful.
Oh, and also the song is FREE here: http://locirecords.bandcamp.com/track/minor-cause
The album comes out 1/29/13, and I, for one, will definitely be buying it.
