The Great Catch-up! (All the FAD!)

Let's get caught up, shall we? (Warning: LONG)
Here's what's happened with my FurAfterDark writing.
In my previous post, roughly 2.5 years ago, I had just finished Part 3 of Mile High Club Deluxe.
I mentioned having 5 other stories in progress at the time: Skunk Switcheroo, Tina's Treat, Limousine Of Lust, Love Bites, and It's A Magical Place. All of these are up on the FAD site, except for Tina's Treat.
Skunk Switcheroo went up on 01/31/2021. In it, Carlota gets acquainted with Tracey, Stacey, and Peter.
Then came Limousine Of Lust. Part 1 is about JT and Cathy going on a 2-week vacation and getting a ride to the airport with Zig Zag in a sumptuous shag-carpeted stretch limousine, and the sexual shenanigans that ensue. Part 2 is the drive back to the studio, with a little detour for Belek, the Siberian tiger driver, to bang Zig. Don't worry, they've done this before. Part 1 went up on 03/07/2021, and Part 2 on 04/04/2021.
Love Bites went up next. Sheila gets some personal time with Wyatt, the Arizona jaguar. But Carlota is also there. This annoys Sheila, until she discovers that Carlota is bity, like Wyatt, and like herself. Yes, the awful truth can be told at last. Sheila Vixen has a biting fetish. She doesn't do it on camera though. This one went up on 05/16/2021.
Then I tackled It's A Magical Place, the one where JT and Cathy are actually on their2-week vacation, referenced in Limousine Of Lust. It's a clothing optional resort in Tahiti, with plenty of opportunity for sexual shenanigans. JT and Cathy meet a nice sexy British deer lady and have fun. Part 1 went up on 07/12/2021.
And then, I got bogged down. I was having problems writing Part 2. And another storyline popped into my head, one I found hard to resist. So I worked on that instead.
It was Racy Stripes. Zig sets up a shoot with Belek, the limo driver who has agreed to work for her part-time. The plan is for them to wash Zig's custom-painted Dodge Viper, then bang on it. So it's Belek's stripes on top of Zig's striped on top of the Viper's stripes. The shoot is at a rented house. Part 1 went up on 08/22/2021.
In Part 2, the shoot is over and Zig waits at the house fo the realtor to come back. They had met in Part 1 and had clicked right away. Her name is Cara and she's a caramel bunny who drives a '69 Shelby Mustang. Zig and Cara got to know each other better and Zig offered her to do some shoots. Part 2 went up on 09/26/2021.
With Racy Stripes out of the way, I was able to concentrate on and finish Part 2 of It's A Magical Place. JT and Cathy enjoy more of their vacation and spend some quaility time with their polynesian otter attendant.
Part 2 went up on 01/09/2022.
Double-Stuffed was next, a fun story where Carlota attempts to have 2 cocks stuffed into her vagina as part of her newest Mistress Frankie dominatrix video. Rod and Peter are the lucky cocks. Tina helps. Up on 02/06/2022.
And then, it was time for Siberian Snow Plow. Oh boy. That story ate my brain and became a FIVE-PARTER!
It was a case of the characters whispering to me and asking for more.
So many characters too: Zig Zag, Tina, Pussy Noir, JT, Cathy, and Belek.
The premise was simple, really! Zig desparately wants to bang Belek in the snow as part of a video, but she doesn't want to freeze her ass off. Her fur is not thick enough. Belek's fur is fine though, he can spend the whole day in snow. Carlota, who is a rocket scientist, mentions something called "aerogel", which can be applied to anything to make it waterproof. When applied to a person, it also traps body heat, keeping anyone warm in very cold weather. Cathy, the hair fur and makeup girl, buys the stuff and experiments with it and okays it for use. The ideal house with plenty of snow is located by Cara, and a small crew spends the weekend there to do the shoot, which turns into 4 separate shoots, including one with Belek and Tina, who is a lynx with thick fur and doesn't need aerogel. There's also sexual shenanigans between the shoots, and a new girl for the crew to play with. Part 1 went up on 03/13/2022, Part 2 on 05/01/2022, Part 3 on 06/26/2022, Part 4 on 08/07/2022, and Part 5 on 10/23/2022. Whew!
And you know what? I could have easily written a Part 6.
Enter The Mystery Bunny was next. This is a two-parter where Cara, the bunny realtor, takes up Zig's offer to visit the studio, meet the performers, and do a test shoot. Because of her job, her face is on billboards, so she wears a mask to conceal it. She's a body double for a couple of famous actresses, so that makes things interesting. She uses Mystery Bunny or Mysty as her porn name. In Part 1, she arrives at the studio, gets a tour, sees a couple of shoots in progress, then goes to Zig's office where the two catch up vigorously. In Part 2, Tina auditions Misty, then Misty meets the performers and chooses the two she wants to work with for the test shoot.
Part 1 went up on 01/15/2023, Part 2 on 03/19/2023
And then, I wrote Easter Heist, a special Easter bunny boinking story starring Mysty and classic Eric Schwartz character and Easter/Valentine's Day pin-up Bunny Bloom! That's right, I'm putting Bunny Bloom back in the mix! I usually write behind-the-scenes and day-to-day stuff, but I wrote this one as if you're watching the video. Aside from Mysty and Bunny, it stars JT and Wyatt. That one went up on 04/08/2023, the day before Easter Day.
I had a lot of fun writing that one and it's full of little references from all over the place.
So what's next you might ask, provided you made it this far.
I'm finally tackling Tina's Treat. It will be a 2-parter.
It's Tina's birthday and Zig has a few surprises for her. And so do the boys at the studio.
Part 1 is quite complex, involving just about everyone, except for Mysty. Juggling that many characters is not easy, so I'm taking my time and being careful. It will also include a character doing something unusual, though not completely impossible based on their personality. There's plenty of existing canon to back this up.
Part 2 will be easier to write.
So that's where I'm at.
I continue to write Zig Zag Studios erotica for Fur After Dark dot com because, dammit, it's fun!

Mile High Club Deluxe is done!

Actually, I had another story go up first, The Monster. It was a fun Halloween thing and went up on Halloween.
So yes, Part 3 of Mile High is up. It's the conclusion to that storyline and it's bigger than either Part 1 or Part 2. But it wasn't big enough to split into Part 3 and 4, so it's just Part 3.
It's wall-to-wall sex, so much sex, ALL THE SEX!

In the previous post, I talked about Skunk Ambush and Mile High Club In Style.
Skunk Ambush became my 6th story to be posted to FAD. It was initally going to feature Carlota, Tracey, and Stacey, but it wasn't working. I added Peter, the male skunk performer, and suddenly everything clicked into place.
The 7th story to go up was The Chase, which I was finally able to beat into shape and submit. This one stars Carlota, Wyatt, and JT Jackhammer. It's the first of the Predator Porn stories.
In early August, I submitted Part 1 of Mile High Club Deluxe. This is the one where Zig Zag and Carlota fly to Japan on an Airbus 380 for a trade show. They run into one of Zig Zag's old friends before boarding and he upgrades their accomodations.
Part 2 of that story went up last Sunday.
I'm working on Part 3, which will be the conclusion.
I'm also working on a fun Halloween story, working title The Monster. It's a surprise!
I have other ideas for stories. Tina's Treat is one I really want to do. It's Tina's birthday and Zig has arranged a big surprise for her old and dear friend. I'd like to do something with Darke Katt, but she's tricky.

Here's an update on the stories:
My 4th one, "Meanwhile In The Fire Room..." went up on December 1st.
That was the one I was nervous about because it centered around Zig Zag, Tina, and Pussy Noir. I was worried about getting their personalities somewhat right. I'm actually worried about that in general.
I wrote a 5th story, "My Milkshake Brings All The Girls...", and that one went up on January 5th.
Sheila Vixen ambushes Léandre to find out if the stories about the "blueberry milkshake' are true. In "Orientation, Part 1", it was revealed that Léandre's semen is bluish and creamy, and looks like blueberry milkshake. It's just a silly joke inspired by a line from a Thomas Dolby song. That story was fun to write because Sheila is fluffy and enthusiastic and loud. And also bitey.
I'm currently working on 2 new stories. Working titles are:
"Skunk Ambush" and "Mile High Club In Style".
The first one is about Carlota spending some get-to-know time with Tracey and Stacey, the insatiable skunk girls prior to them shooting a lesbian video together.
The second one has Zig Zag and Carlota about to fly to Japan for a trade show on an A380, and running into an old friend of Zig who hooks them up with the suite next to his. Spoiler alert: when the partition between the two suites is lowered, it creates one big suite and the two beds become connected. This is all based on what's currently available on the Airbus 380 for accomodations.
This one is shaping up to be a two-parter! It's gonna be awesome!
And I just got an idea for another story. Carlota may or may not successfully talk Sheila into doing a lesbian video with her. Will she? Won't she? I don't know yet.

My way into ZZ Studios was to invent a new character and have the reader meet the studio staff and performers through her eyes. Enter Carlota, a voluptuous 6' 4" hyena babe from Tanzania who has actually lived in the US for a long time. She's looking for part-time work as a porn actress because she likes sex, has the body for it, and doesn't like strip clubs.
Her day job is space propulsion engineer. Yes, she's a rocket scientist. Her dad is a nuclear physicist. Look, just because this is porn doesn't mean everyone has to be an airhead.
Carlota was recommended to Zig Zag by Léandre. He's a 7' 2" felinoid that Zig met at a porn convention where he was trying to find a studio to help him with his predator porn project. He's trying to talk Zig into it, but it's outside her comfort zone. She did like him though, and his French accent and took him back to her suite for some fun. They've stayed in touch.

It's Carlota's first porno shoot! And it doesn't go well. She's nervous and she vaporlocks. Zig Zag calls for a 1-hour break and sends Carlota and her co-star Wyatt off to a private room so they can get to know each other and Carlota can de-stress.
4) Meanwhile, In The Fire Room
While Carlota and Wyatt are off de-stressing, Zig Zag, Tina, and Pussy Noir are in a different room, spending some energetic time together with accessories.
Fire Room is the one I'm most nervous about. It's Zig, Tina, and Pussy, by themselves. That's a pretty daunting prospect for a writer. Hopefully, I did good.

So it's been a month since my last post here.
The big news is that it looks like I will be contributing prose erotica to FurAfterDark.com
I was able to contact Mr. Schwartz, and by the time he asked me to send him something, I had taken my original story and expanded it to a two-parter. :)
Eventually, I heard back and he said he liked what he saw. So I'm just waiting on final details and scheduling and stuff. I'm fairly excited.
I've just written a whole new Zig Zag Studios story, because I want to save "Savage Vacation" for later, much later. It's too different and I need to sort of ease people into it. And I need to finish Part 2, it's only half-written and needs to be updated anyway. So I'm gonna do a few more general erotica stories first.
I've done a lot of work on the main Cheetah story in the Sci-Fi setting. I might actually expand it into a novella, I don't know. There's a lot of story I can tell.
I did rewrite Savage Vacation for the Sci-Fi setting, and I actually have two versions of Part 1: one where Cheetah doesn't catch the prey, falls behind, and rejoins her alien space cat friends later. And one where she does catch prey. That one is not finished.
Also, I have figured out what to do with Part 2. The trio's vacation is interrupted by a call from the head ranger of the reserve, telling then poachers have been identified in their area, and that the trio is closer to them than his strike team. The trio agrees to handle things until the strike team gets there, and the head ranger thanks them by letting them hunt another prey afterwards, even though the paperwork is for only one prey.
If there's one thing predators hate, it's poachers.
This is where I like Version 1 of Part 1 better because it gives Cheetah another shot at bringing down prey after her failure. I might scrap Version 2 completely.
But, the Sci-Fi stuff is on hold for now, since I'm working on ZZ stuff.

Okay, I've decided to possibly journal here after all.
After staying on the periphery of Furry Fandom for a while, I'm diving back in.
I've missed you fuzzy lunatics and there's a ton of great art to look at. Hi Miles-DF! :)
Also, I've been bitten by the writing bug.
Back in the '90s, I was on GEnie and part of a science-fiction writing group called Green Barracks It was military cyberpunk sci-fi along the lines of CJ Cherryh's Cyteen and Masamune Shirow's various titles (Ghost In The Shell, Appleseed, Dominion Tank Police).
We each took turn writing a chapter in a large cooperative storyline. It was awesome!
3 months ago, an idea popped into my head and would not leave: Predator Porn.
No, not those freaks with the helmets and dreadlocks and spine fetish. Those are not even true predators, they're hunters. They do it for sports and trophies. No, real predators strictly hunt for food. They don't kill what they don't eat, unless it's a threat to their life. You know, self-defense.
Anyway, Predator Porn. An anthro male and female predator couple chases down non-sentient prey, kills it, and eats it. Then they have wild sex while still covered in blood from the prey.
I don't know about you but that turns me on. Especially when an anthro male and female scavenger couple arrives on the scene and agrees to have sex with the predators in exchange for what's left of the prey.
I wrote that. It's codenamed Savage Vacation. The idea is that it's a getaway for predators who want to take off their clothes and their civilized manners and spend a day as their true predator, or scavenger, selves.
At this point I'm writing in 3 separate settings: Sci-Fi, Furry, and Zig-Zag Studios.
I'm interested in writing some stories for FurAfterDark because, dammit, the ZZ Studios characters are fun. I've reached out to both Eric Schwartz and Max Blackrabbit to find out if they're still interested in accepting prose erotica for the website. The newest thing in there seems to be from back in 2010, so who knows?
I've written one fun ZZ story for submission purposes, where the skunkette auditions a new hire in her office, a voluptuous hyena babe looking to work part-time.
I'm not writing anything more until I find out what's what. I'm concentrating on the Sci-Fi stuff right now.
So, Savage Vacation works as stand-alone Furry erotica. I can make it work with ZZ Studios by having the story end with someone yelling "CUT!".
That version has a second part that reveals that this was an extravagant porno movie being filmed on location in Africa in a game reserve with special permits. Zig-Zag would be there with Tina and Pussy Noir and assorted staffers. The performers and crew gather themselves and pack. The performers are joined by Zig, Tina, and Pussy in a nice mass shower to clean off all the blood and spooge and dust, and because it's Africa and it's insanely hot. Orgy ensues.
Savage Vacation needs to be completely rewritten for the Sci-Fi setting. There are no furries in that setting, except for a male and female predator couple from a race of tall alien felinoids (cough Not Kzins cough), and the cheetah/human hybrid woman they take under their wing. The Sci-Fi setting is all about Cheetah. I can probably still tack on a Part 2, if the felinoids think this would be a good porno to send back to homeworld. Hey, that could work! :)
So, yeah, I'm spending a lot of time writing and I'm having fun.
Savage Vacation needed out of my head, but it lead me to Cheetah and the Sci-Fi setting, which is what I'm concentrating on right now. I don't know if any of this will ever be published. I'll worry about that later. For now, I am possessed and must write.
And wow, this turned out to be a lot longer than I thought.
