July Sketch Sale (Sketching Out The Magical Girls)
Posted 2 months agoGot a sketch sale going for the month of July on Magical Girls! Check out the form here, with more details on the submission!
Going to start uploading again. Probably going to put less effort into the corny jokes in the titles and such for the sake of being able to get things uploaded more consistently. Also considering bringing back sketch compilations, because else, we're pretty sure 80% of what we draw will languish in the patreon server, unseen, and whoops, turns out you guys like seeing the stuff we crank out, so we should get back to posting it!
And speaking of stuff getting cranked out, check out Mira's page over at
MiraWrites, there'll be stories getting uploaded pretty regularly, and our big ol' oni is ALSO taking commissions, with the form for those here! Go give her a watch and some likes and comments and all that other cool interaction stuff so we can force her to branch out further!
And if you're interested in a story, you should grab one! Her commissions are open!
Mira's page will serve as the hub for whatever she writes up, with the writing corner here only being for stuff involving characters belonging to Dissy or collaborative efforts!
And speaking of collaborative efforts, we're working on a lil something something for once we FINALLY get Two Can Play At That Game Wrapped. Thanks again to all of you for your kindness!
As always, thank you for your patience and patronage! Stay safe and be well!

HALLOWEEN COSTUME COMMISSIONS!
Posted 11 months agoHalloween costume commissions open tomorrow! Toss us the character, the costume, and we'll do it on up! $30 money a pop!
The same caveats apply for the sale qualifications as last time around! Same deal as before!
- It is a costume! (We're not going to MAKE the character an actual monster!)
- These are fun or cute! (Anything NSFW or risque will lose out on the discount!)
- We're taking these until we aren't! (We're not sure how far that goes, but colored sketch comms are always an option!)
If you want an actually monstrous colored sketch, or something unfit for delicate eyes, you're free to order it, but it will not qualify for the discount! We'll still try and get it done ASAP!
Halloween Costume Commissions Form HERE! (Feel free to drop 'em in. First come first serve, mostly, no limit on forms.

Vore Day '24
Posted a year agoOctober Announcements!
Posted 2 years agoTL;DR: We've shifted prices upwards in multiple areas outside of plain sketches, Halloween costume commissions will be closing Friday the Thirteenth (possibly temporarily), 10 dollar patron slots will be shrunk from 20 total to 15 total, there's a smutty werewolf story for spooky month, and drive progress has been steady enough that we're almost ready to knock it out, hopefully for November!
So! Headline! Due to a ton of factors, we're raising prices slightly on a lot of things, but have kept sketch options open for affordability's sake! We're hoping that the increases aren't too drastic, but if they turn out to be dealbreakers, we'll take a look at changing them around a bit!
The halloween costume sketches filled up super super rapidly, so thanks to everyone who ordered one, but with the volume we've got, we don't really have the space to open proper commissions to the public yet! Patrons have been able to place commission orders for a week or so now! Wink wink, nudge nudge!
Speaking of Patreon (and Subscribestar, its less loved stepsibling), we currently offer a monthly sketch to any of our 10 dollar supporters, with 20 available slots (15 on Patreon, 5 on Subscribestar)! We'll be shrinking that by 5, and offering 10 on Patreon, and leaving the 5 on Subscribestar. In addition to that, there are other benefits, such asseeing the degenerate things Dissy gets sketched up seeing sketches and sketchpages earlier, suggesting characters and subjects for sketches and drawings, additional discounts, and reading Mira's stories earlier!
And in yet another segue, Mira's latest story, a two act affair consisting of Lost and Found and Gone to the Wolves will be getting uploaded throughout the month, finishing up on halloween! The first act will be available in its entirety to patrons when we begin uploading tomorrow, feedback and input welcome, of course, and the second act will go up in its entirety as soon as it begins uploading here on FA!
Finally, the only thing a fair number of you are still looking out for, the conclusion of Two Can Play at That Game is fast approaching! The comics are all but done, which will leave only the weight gain portions to draw, which will of course feature more input from you all! Once that's finished and a winner decided (it's closer than some might think at last tally), we'll be putting out a neat little gameygame featuring the winner!
As always, thank you for your patience and patronage! Stay safe and be well!

About 40 more pieces from my estimation, so y'know. Buckle up and all that!

Drive Update!
Posted 2 years agoEDIT: Patreon and SubscribeStar now up!
Tl;dr still working at the drive and the milestones, opening a Patreon and SubscribeStar to try and help a bit with financial strain! Ko-fi open!
So! It's been a year since the drive, and we haven't finished it. That's not good. Less good is the fact that we're still not finished with it! All of the different things are in the works, and we've been working at getting the art done and out, but unfortunately, health issues limit the amount of work we can realistically do per week without joints and the like going into full revolt.
As such, what ends up happening is we spend the week doing commission work to pay the bills, and then try and work on the drive comics and art on the weekends, but when pop-up bills and other things compound with the chronic health issues popping up, we end up behind and working overtime to keep the lights on, which pulls away from our time to work on the drive.
(Part of the lack of our posts has been from us not wanting to get too large of a queue to be able to justify taking time to work on the drive, but once we get more progress out, we'll start posting again!)
The comics are plotted out. Most of them are storyboarded. Some of them are lined and others are colored. The actual weight gain bit of the drive is partially math'd out, but the final stretch will potentially change the ending, which would itself change the game, being that it will be based on the winner.
So, it's slow going. Under no circumstances did we want this to have taken this long, and, while this was our first attempt at a drive, we still should have done better. Between the costs of the move, the costs of getting the house in order, the cost of spring up repairs, we ended up behind the eight ball about two days after we moved, and we're only just now getting out of that hole.
At this rate, however, we don't know when we'll actually be able to really and safely be able to slow commission work further to focus on the drive, and we're sorry for that. With that being said, if you want to help, we're opening a Patreon (with SubscribeStar as an alternative for those of you who prefer that), and the Ko-fi is open as well. We're always wildly thankful for any help, support, or business we get.
As it stands for now, it's going to serve as a tip-jar, though if there are things people would like to see, that's something we're up for discussing and figuring out. We could use it as a place to post stories Mira's written that we hadn't seen fit to post on the page, warm up sketches, or just a portal to a discord where we do much the same. When work on the game starts, or any project, we can post wips there or something similar if that's of any interest.
Let us know your thoughts! Thanks as always for your continued support and potential patronage!

Wow, Health Problems, Who Could've Guessed!
Posted 2 years agoBig sarcasm, because it's a bit played out at this point, but we've had and have a bit of a week here that's not quite over yet with the last 3 days having been spent going to appointments and the hospital, and with another follow up tomorrow that's potentially going to involve a lot of sedation and such.
It's slowing up our work flow a bit and we're crazy sorry, but we WILL be working through the weekend assuming we don't have anything come up, because we've got MORE appointments coming in the coming days! Hopefully all this leads to a health problem reduction, but we'll see what happens.
Wish us luck, and thank you for your patience! Apologies to anyone who's been waiting a bit. We intend to have any commission we've sent out WIPS on finished by Monday!

Holidays Commission Update!
Posted 2 years agoTL;DR: Comms on hold!
Heyo! Just a quick line that Commissions are temporarily closed for the holidays! The wife's gone home to visit her family, and I'll be taking this time to focus on *other* work!
You're free to submit forms, but they will not be processed until after the first of the new year!

SPOOKY TIME (Injury Report!)
Posted 3 years agoAnd the scariest thing of all, the hand's shot again.
It wasn't the halloween sketches, but they probably didn't help!
We're going to be working slow but steady, so apologies to everyone who's used to a wip today and your finished piece tomorrow.
Wow. A journal without a tl;dr
WELL! Thanks again for your patronage and such! We'll keep you all updated! Hopefully feast month will come with quick healing so we can see the duo pack on the pounds!

A Bit Late, But Thank You!
Posted 3 years agoTL;DR Thank you, and a raffle's on the way!
SO! A THOUSAND WATCHES, YAY WOOHOO THANKS A TON!
Genuine thanks to all of you out there commissioning these drawings and making it possible for us to live on our art these days. We're crazy lucky. And y'all out there just watching and faving and sharing the drawings around, too. We appreciate it so much.
So, of course, y'all are gonna want a raffle, and we're gonna do one! Details will follow once our plate's a lil less full (the drive, the YCH, the halloween sketches), but we're definitely going to have to do something for a thousand watches!
We'll have to figure out how we're going to do it and we'll probably do a different separate thing for the twitter folk if/when we hit a thousand. i hate posting on twitter so i don't know how many years off that is
In the mean time, stay tuned, and as always thanks to each of you!

Comms Open!
Posted 3 years agoTL;DR: Comms open, form required, Ignavia returning!
Okay! We're all set up, got things up and running, and now comms are officially open again! Huzzah! Yay! Third exaltation!
Changes! The pricing. New form. New workflow.
Also, submitting a form is now largely mandatory (on account of we forget commissions through messages and emails sometimes)! Apologies for the inconvenience!
Also continuing: The drive! We're going to be resuming work on the drive either this next coming weekend or the following week! Once we get into the swing of things, that will probably be Monday work, with commissions making up the bulk of Tuesday-Thursday, and Friday being for our contracted game work! As always, things are flexible as need be!
Also as always, thank you for your continued support and patronage!

Moving Day! (Comms Temporarily Closed)
Posted 3 years agoOkay! So, we'll be closing commissions for a short while we move! Then we'll probably take most of july to get through the backlog, honestly. Apologies!
We'll update with when comms will be open again!
Also! Thanks! We reached our goal! We'll be making a lil game to go with that drive (along with the rest of the art for it) while we settle in! Less of a certain timetable on that one!
We're so happy to finally be moving. It's been a long process. Almost a year to the day! A lot of homes fell through, but we've finally done it, fingers crossed. We're getting the keys tomorrow!
We'll keep everyone posted.
As for anyone who's submitted a commission form, we'll let you know when we're getting to your slots and whether or not we'll be able to manage 'em in due time! Gonna audit everything tomorrow and make sure they all still seem doable!
Thanks as always for your support and patronage!

THE MOVE!
Posted 3 years agoTL;DR Work pausing for the move (commissions not closed!) & potential rate increase! Also! $2,631/$3,000!
SO! Minor update! We're going to be having to get packed up (and get this place emptied out) over the next week.
As such, commission progress is going to slow! Anyone expecting a commission or who has submitted an application, no worries, we'll get to things as soon as we're settled in at the new place and our station's back up.
We'll be trying to work through Wednesday at least, so if you don't hear from us by THEN, then you can assume we'll be getting to you AFTER the move!
If for any reason you decide that you'd rather not wait (understandable!) or anything of that nature, just drop us a line here, on discord (ZubuzzArt#8730), or on twitter (@DissyOnMain) letting us know you'd like to withdraw your commission request!
And for the second point, we'll be looking at it over the next week or so to determine what we're going to do. As always, we appreciate the interest and patronage, but we're having the similar issue of a large work load starting to affect our productivity! We'll keep you all posted!
OH! ALSO! THE DRIVE!
ABSOLUTELY THANK YOU GUYS WHO'VE DONATED. WE'VE PASSED $2,600 ON OUR WAY TO OUR $3K GOAL! STUFF'S STILL OPEN! DEETS HERE! (already messin' around with game stuff, and planning out the comic). Not SUPER sure on delivery date, but we'll definitely get it done up! Thank y'all so much!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Thank you for 800 watches! We're like crazy swamped between comms and the drive, but thank you thank you! Hopefully we can take some time off for hammering out work and such after the drive and figure out some sort of thank you thingy to do!
Maybe a raffle, maybe a big pic, maybe a sale, we don't know, but we'll figure it out!
You guys are nuts, thanks so much.

More Updates!
Posted 3 years agoHeyo! Been a bit radio silent here for a bit but things are well! The commission form has worked an absolute treat, and we've been racing through comms as best we can. Thank you guys for your support and stuff as always!
Now! Updates!
We're finally closing on a house it seems! Huzzah! Yay us! We've been mostly packed up for so so long at this point that it's going to be almost weird to have our things out and about again! As such, when moving time comes, there's going to be a lull in productivity, but after that, it should be a return to the halcyon days of unfettered productivity and the like!
Fingers crossed!
Also, seeing as our health problems have been... mostly abated, we are going to be reinstating discount decay as of the first of June!
Going forward, so long as you are on the queue or have submitted a commission for us through our form (presuming we haven't messaged you to turn the commission down), your discount will be frozen. When the time comes to be added to the queue, if you decide you do not want the commission, your discount will decay retroactively to where it would have been!
For Example:
If you are in the queue for two months (a nightmare, to be sure), and decide you no longer want the commission, your discount will decay two stages.
Obviously if it is through some fault of our own, your discount will be left in tact, but realistically, most of you repeat customers are so active in commissioning us that we don't forsee anyone who'd really mind losing their discount actually losing their discount!
More news! We're going to be trying to pump out some more adopts/YCHs, more personal work, and maybe a few more substantive projects! We're thinking of how best to toy with our work week to make it happen!
So! Thank you and we'll keep you posted! Hopefully we've got something to announce in the next day or two!

T.O.S, Commission Form, and Plans (Comms Open!)
Posted 3 years agoTL;DR here at the top! We're trying out a commission form (not mandatory yet, but use is appreciated while we test things out), we've codified a basic Terms of Service thingy, and we've made a discord for people who prefer updates through IM rather than notes or emails.
Okay! So! First thing's first. Finally reopening commissions! We're going to probably finally be making the switch to a proper, 3-5 at a time queue if we can ever decide for sure how we'd want to do that, but in the mean time we've set up a commission form! This, hopefully, will stop me losing commissions in my notes, messages, or mails and leave us with a sort of log of different commissions people want so we can see what we're able to do and choose accordingly. It's all massively tentative for the time being, and while ideally I'd like to swap to using that form as the standard way to request a commission, for now it's still an optional thing! We've also got a T.O.S now that'll sort of outline the process, our expectations, and what you can expect on our end!
In keeping with our attempts to make ordering and receiving a commission easier, we've created a discord for work use! I'm not sure just yet how often it'll get checked but I imagine we'll check it more and more as it sees more and more use! The Discord is: ZubuzzArt#8730 ! Feel free to add it to ask questions about commissions, commission status, or for correspondence relating to commissions, but don't expect small talk or anything like that!
Now for the thing most, if not all of you are here about. Commissions! They are finally once again open! A few caveats! Firstly, the discount system is currently frozen, seeing as we haven't properly opened commissions in a bit. Anyone with a discount won't be facing decay, and we'll consider how to best keep up our discount system as we move towards a form based commission process. Tentatively so long as you've asked for a commission, you'll keep your discount, but we'll see where that goes specifically. Secondly, health problems have been abounding. Our usual day or two turnaround may be slower in some cases as needed for the sake of staving off further complications and injuries! Thirdly, and this is related to the second point, we may opt to hold off on certain projects and commissions so as to not commit to something we may not be able to complete in a timely manner. This isn't to say we're not willing to do comics and such, just that you may find yourself further down the list of commissions the larger your piece is!
As is the constant way, we're hoping to start posting more personal stuff, characters, art, comics, whatever funny lil junk we feel like, so we'll see if that comes to anything!
Also! 700! Wow! We still haven't managed to do anything for 5 or 6, so we'll probably end up rolling them all together into a ball and doing a solid Thank You raffle once we get a bit more free time!
Anyways, as always, thank you for your continued support and patronage, and we're looking forward to working with y'all!
EDIT: We're going to be giving priority to commission inquiries using the form!

Oh My Days, More Malaise!
Posted 3 years agoTL;DR: Comms are still CLOSED for the moment. We'll be changing *how* we take comms on a trial basis because of volume, we'll figure out how to keep the discount system working if we swap to the new system permanently, and we're having more health troubles so we're not sure how our work flow is going to be!
So! Comms aren't open yet! We'd intended to have them opened by now for sure, but things got in the way and last week there was a bit of a development I'll get into more in a moment!
Next, we love all of you and thank you so much for all of the work and faith in us to get it done, not to mention and the support and such! That being said it's getting tricky to keep 10-20 messages, notes, timing, slots, and what ever else straight, so we're going to try a more... scaled back system using everyone's favorite thing... a *form*.
The plan is to set up a form to fill out when you want a comm, and we'll just pick from the forms as and when we're filling the queue back up. We're going to aim for 5 commissions a week, but that's, of course, dependent on the comms! We're on retainer, essentially, doing the art for our friend Luke8t88's game, which has a sort of dedicated time slot for working. So we have to try and make sure we can get other work done well within usual time constraints! Hopefully this will work out as intended, streamline the workflow, and allow for us to get things done!
That being said! Currently we're having some dental issues. Something something receding gums, something something pain, something something surgery. We're going to be doing our damnedest to get this dealt with ASAP, but grafts and a lack of insurance is going to make it tricky. We may end up doing a little next day headshot sale or something to get some cash for bills and what not while we can't do heavier workloads.
So! In closing! We'll announce comms when they're open again and figure out how to work a slot system in a way we find palatable, we'll be trying to get back to work as soon as we can with health permitting, and we appreciate your patronage and such as always!
P.S. Gonna try and do some more personal stuff too, because, y'know. Personal stuff is fun. We'll see what happens!
P.P.S. THANKS FOR 600 AND THE SEEMINGLY IMMINENT 700 AHHHHHHHHH

Commissions Closed, 2/2/22
Posted 3 years agoHeyo! Having some health issues so we're going to be closing commissions! As per usual discount decay will be frozen during this time! When we come back from this break, we'll be having a limited menu of sorts. Customs, Char Designs, and Flats only for the most part. No comics, light backgrounds. Maybe simple shading but we're not sure yet.
The good news is the discount decay freeze will last until we're open for all sorts of commissions again!
But for the sake of lessening strain until we can get things sorted on our end, we're going to have to make these changes temporarily!
Apologies, and as always, thank you for the support and understanding!
(PS. We've messaged anyone with an outstanding commission from us about our plan going forward. If you didn't get a message and should have been on the queue, message me and I'll try and get things sorted out!)

INJURY REPORT!
Posted 3 years agoHeyo! Just a quick journal to let people know we're nursing another injured hand on our end, so a brief break's in session!
People who's commissions we're currently doing have been notified, and anyone who is on the queue at the moment, expect maybe a week or so delay in your slot coming up! Apologies!
If anyone would like to postpone or cancel their orders, go ahead and slide us a note!

Comm Progress!
Posted 4 years agoHeyo! So! Just a quick note for people waiting on or wanting commissions! Let's have a quick round of good news, bad news!
So! The good news first!
We're moving faster than expected! We'd expected to be taking a lot longer to get through these comms but things have gone better than could be expected! I'd like to give an ETA on when each of you will get your pieces, but I can't quite say! Also, good news, for us anyways, neutral for most people, I think, but we've signed on to a project as well! Things should still be business as usual re commissions, and we'll be sure to adjust and compensate or work and methodology if that changes!
The bad news!
A slight hiccup in our work is on the horizon! We'll be taking a three/four day weekend (Sat, Sun, Mon), and maybe losing friday as well, which isn't ideal. Hopefully this doesn't put us back on schedule or even worse behind schedule! It's nice being ahead of schedule!
That's it, that's the bad news. Hopefully it was overhyped!
Anyone looking for an update on commission status or queue position or even an eta is free to drop us a line any time!
Also, commissions are still open if'n you're wanting to grab a slot!
In any event, thank you for your attention, your patience, and as always, your continued patronage!

Commissions Pt.2 (aka OH. Y'ALL WERE SERIOUS)
Posted 4 years ago(TL;DR We've gotten a lot of interest shown, and the current queue stretches to January. Even if you MIGHT want something, you should probably message us now!)
Heyo! So! Just a short thing Re: Commissions!
We are absolutely flattered at the amount of interest and such from just 12 or so hours of being open. You guys absolutely flatter us. We appreciate it so much. We had several warnings about people's friends, partners, servers, and so on saying they were planning on hitting us up when we opened, and we didn't think it would be this big an outpouring. We'll do our best not to let any of you down!
That being said, we've already gotten about 20 inquiries, questions, and commission requests, so in the interest of not being a blow in private messages, the current wait time in queue is somewhere around a month! We will, for the time being, keep commissions open, but bear that in mind! If you haven't already sent a commission request (again, general details appreciated), you're looking at a January return date, given the last week of December is all messed up (and that's also assuming we don't find a place before then!) There is a chance we close commissions again before the end of the day (let alone week) if we see similar levels of interest continuing. (Not that we're not interested in your custom, but I always feel bad saying "Sure! That'll be 3 months before we get to ya!")
We are totally blown away by you guys' support and interest.
We're going to try and figure out how to best get things going and how to keep them moving!
Biggest take away here! If you think you MIGHT want a commission, let us know now! We don't mind if you change your mind by the time we get to you, and we'd hate to have to move to like... proper slots. Slots give us FOMO when we're after commissions, we don't particularly want to do the same to others!
This ran a bit long. Slung a TL;DR at the top. In summary, get your orders in if you've got them, and PLEASE include some idea of what you're after in the opening message! Thank you all so much for your patronage, new, continued, and resumed. We appreciate y'all so much.

Commissions, Changes, and 500?!?!
Posted 4 years agoOKAY SO WOW! Up top let me say commissions will likely open monday. Any commissions messages before that won't get put into the queue!
We definitely ended up being closed a lot longer than we'd intended! BUT! Now we're about ready to get back in business! Tentatively this Monday! Our new rates are live, and as always with us reopening comms, we'll be putting a 2 week freeze on discount decay in case people don't get the memo, and making an official announcement with full details! There may be a few growing pains, and we'll have to see how these prices work out. Still not terribly sold on implementing a standard limited slot commission system. More out of nervousness than anything else! Besides which, I think (and I could be wrong!) that our turn around is fast enough that the waiting time in queue isn't that bad? Feedback appreciated on that front!
Going forward we'll be trying to vary up our output a little more aggressively, so watch this space for more information on that. Maybe some minor discount for certain subject matter we don't get to do often. Not sure! Honestly it's really down to how things go, but we certainly want to broaden our portfolio a little bit! We'll also be trying to get more Adopts and YCHs done and posted. Maybe a flat rate unlimited YCH soon. By all means, comment what kind of pose or what have you you might like to see in one of those! Also-also, to those of y'all that commission SFW stuff, thank. It's so rare for us to get SFW comms and it always feels a little nice to know people still want our work when they're not bein' horny about it! (That being said Dissy is still a degenerate born and bred, so don't worry, we love horny comms too. uwu )
Now for the major thing! 500 Watchers!
WOOOOOOOOOAH WE'RE HALFWAY THERE
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH THANK YOU GUYS, I SWEAR
We're of course going to do another raffle for 500! We'd wanted to do it that week that just passed, but we'd missed some obligations and had to get caught up on those, so we'll post about that and the prize when it's time! We've got a pretty goofy track record at getting raffles done before the next milestone, but who knows.
Other junk, since people ask! 2021 is winding down and we've still not got a new place. Annoying since we've already sold our current one and are going to be paying rent until we do, whoops. Shortsighted, maybe, but it's fine! Keeping a roof over your head's important regardless! We're in pretty good spirits and health. We've locked eyes on a place, that's been on the market since June with NO offers! We put one in and they took it off the market, so we'll hopefully be in talks with them. Hopefully they haven't had a change of heart on selling!
As far as personal stuff goes, we'll keep trying to make time to finish and refine junk with our characters, but usually it's reserved for trades, holidays, and slow weeks. Thankfully, because of you guys, we don't have many of that last thing! So, as always thank y'all for your patronage!

Commissions Closing, YCH(s?), and Changing Rates!
Posted 4 years agoSo! Let's start off with the obvious! Commissions are currently closed!
This is to say no new commissions for the time being, but if we've already discussed your order, you are still on the queue and we will still be getting to you! The queue is getting wildly long in the tooth, and rather than have our list stretching on into infinity we figured we'd close commissions until we've finished these, take a bit to regroup, and come back fresh!
We're going to be taking this weekend to doodle up some ooky-spooky YCHs to see if we're happy enough with any of them actually auction off. Maybe some tentacle shenanigans, maybe some tf, maybe something vorny, we'll see what comes of it!
Lastly, and least fortunately, we're going to be, come November 1st (likely coinciding with the return), raising our rates and updating our price sheet to reflect the new rates! We appreciate the business that you lovely people have given us more than we can put in to words, and we hope that you understand! We are expecting a flat raise of $10 across the board, but we'll be looking into edge cases and figuring things out specifically.
(This change is coming mostly as a result of the increasing demands for backgrounds, which has been good practice but often end up as more work than the actual content of the image itself. As such the range of pricing we'll generally charge for them is going to widen. We'll give you an idea on the pricing as we always do when you ask, then a more accurate idea once we've got some manner of sketch down, at which point we can talk about specifics to modulate and moderate the pricing on backgrounds!)
Also! 500! It's on the horizon! We're not sure what we'll do for it, it really depends on how our queue looks when it hits. Ideally we can do something to give back!
As far as the move goes, things have stalled somewhat horrifically, if I'm honest, but we're still looking for a place that's a good fit, and we've now got a backup planwhich is somehow more expensive and less useful than us finding a house so worst case scenario, we'll still have a roof over our heads, which is... ideal!

Moving House!
Posted 4 years agoSo! TL;DR Right up top because that's where they should be, darn it!
We're moving homes soon, and something has come up suddenly that means we have to start working on it faster than planned! This is going to slow progress on commissions a bit, so the normal day or two turnarounds might be temporarily slowed to 3-5 days while we work at this!
Full context!
We're having to move because our house is being sold (so that we can buy a new house and get out of this neighborhood. It's not an evil landlords situation, no worries!), and we've been approved for a mortgage loan and found several nice places in good locations REALLY unexpectedly.
On top of that, we're the last of the people who bought this house together still living here, and everyone else is waiting to sell! So we have to take this opportunity and try and get out of here in the next month or so!
This means we need to pack, throw out all the stuff we don't need, and start working on choosing and preparing the new place! As such our standard 8-12 hour workdays are just... not going to be feasible during this!
And yesterday, someone rented a dumpster for us which means we really need to get on the packing and throwing stuff out bit early. Dumpsters aren't cheap and we don't want to have to rent another one later so we're gonna be spending most of the coming days working on that, and after all the manual labor, we'll probably be tired and all that junk!
However, we're not closing or cancelling comms, we just gotta make sure we have a roof to keep doing them under, and want to make sure that you guys don't worry that we're blowing anyone off or not working on stuff because you're used to our usual turnaround.
So! Just a heads up! Slower returns, but the workflow's gonna be basically the same! Hopefully this doesn't last too terribly long. Shouldn't be more than a month or so of the reduced workspeed! (This/next week packing/cleaning, the following week house hunting, a few days actually moving/re-setting everything up.)
So yes! Patience and understanding appreciated! Hopefully it's not too disruptive! Thanks y'all!

We Return!
Posted 4 years agoSo! A lot of stuff happened, but finally we're ready to get back to business as usual!
Short Version: We're going to try and get back into the swing of things, and we're reopening commissions! Full text below!
So! After a few months and some health and financial scares, we're in a situation where we're comfortable getting back to commission work. We didn't want to reopen commissions while plagued by injuries that might affect that, and unfortunately, they kept rolling in. Coupled with costs and plans for moving, that put is in a place where we had to focus on health and being prepared for things first and foremost but now that things have slowed, it's definitely time to get back in the saddle!
There were a bunch of people who had messaged us about wanting commissions before or after the hiatus. We're not going to message them back since it's been anywhere from 1 to 3 months and something about messaging someone to ask if they want a commission feels a bit blackmail-y, but we WILL be adding an additional month to any current discounts set to decay so as to give people chances to get the news that we're open again.
Also, starting at some point, we're going to have an open/close slot window system we're going to have to implement, so how the discount will continue to work with that in mind is something we're still figuring out. We don't particularly want to ditch that since working with repeat customers is usually a nice thing!
EDIT: You guys really rushed to fill up our messages, so the slot system is something we're gonna have to work on now. Maybe we'll do a commission slots open thing, then pick ones at random who submit commission ideas? I don't know. The support is overwhelming, thank you guys so much, really!
Also, we're going to hopefully begin working on more projects for ourselves which should be fun. We don't tend to post too much personal art! As that goes we'll see about discounts for commissions involving our characters and such if that's possible or feasible.
A final maybe, is the opening of sticker/emote commissions. That's something we're having to figure out the reliability of and whether it'd be an option for a commission or if we'd have to have a second smaller queue of those sorts of commissions, since it's usually a far cry from the standard sort of work flow. If there's any interest, let us know and we'll see about pricing it and such! Which means it'd be time to update the price sheet. Le gasp. The horror.

Le gasp. The horror.
