Fursuit Commissions Opening Sept 1!

The form will be open for one week, it will not be first come first served so please take your time completing it. You will need a visual reference of your character, or photos of a real life animal if you want me to base your fursuit on a real life animal only.
I will be partnering with SpaceCat Creations to offer TWO fullsuit slots! I will also be accepting clients for head only and partial commissions. Add-on pieces without a head are for returning clients only.

Once the form closes, I will go through all applicants and send out quotes, then determine who I will accept on my queue and who I will offer waitlist spots to. People who are on the queue must sign the contract and pay the Retainer Fee immediately; people on the waitlist do not pay or sign anything and do not have any commitment and may choose to leave the waitlist with no repercussion at any time. Once I work through my queue, I will reach out to my waitlist and add them all to my queue, expect a wait time of 5-6 months on the waitlist before adding to my queue. If you are offered waitlist and do not choose to go on the waitlist, there is no repercussion and you are welcome to apply next commission opening.

Payment is 50% up front, 50% on completion via credit or debit card. I also have the capability to take Afterpay, but you must sign up with them and be cleared for the amount of credit you would like before commissioning me.

If you are not chosen this round but I would still like to make your character, you are welcome to join my Wait List - where I do not take any money yet but once I knock out a few commissions, I add you to the queue instead of opening for a whole new commission round again. I only like to take 5-6 clients at a time since that is the maximum I can comfortably handle and organize.

On Sept 1, I will open a quote form for 72 hours. Please make sure you have a clear visual reference ready (can be photographs or drawn reference). I will also open for art lib.
As forms are submitted, I will email quotes to applicants. These quotes are good for 6mo, so even if you aren't chosen for a slot this round, hang on to it! Once the form closes, I will email those chosen for a slot and request they sign my TOS and then submit a deposit.
Once the deposit is paid, I'll purchase/gather all materials. Once work is ready to start, I will request the remaining balance. This can take a few days to a few weeks depending on what I have on hand already.
I aim to have short turnaround times of 20 weeks or less which means frequent commission openings.

Posted 7 years agoSo this upcoming season, I'll be working at a sled dog kennel! This means that I will not be posting work as frequently and will probably not be making fursuits while I'm there. I have a few fursuits to finish up before I leave at the end of september and then I will be FLEEING ALL RESPONSIBILITES until april! I will be bringing a few masks to paint and my watercolors but I'm not sure what my free time will be like. Anyways I will be a little harder to contact and slower to respond while I'm away.
This means I also won't be at any conventions between September and April! And my etsy will be closed! So if there's anything you've been eyeing order before I leave. I will not be selling any fursuit blanks or jawsets etc while I am away as well so if there's anything you need...tell me now!
One other thing...With that horned zebra I just posted, I finally cleared my commission queue! YAY. No more projects hanging over me and I'm just going to have fun with a few premades before I leave.

Would love to clear this list and make some premades as a break to make my living for a few months. Goodness knows I have enough fursuit blanks piled up lol. Had to pay for Anime Boston, AnimeNEXT, and Animazement all very closely to each other so money is really tight until Anime Boston. There's a couple sleddog races in the upcoming weeks that I'd like to go to as well but honestly not sure I'll be able to afford entry fee+gas/travel+campsite reservation. We'll see, fingers crossed!

In other news, I've started testing the waters in the artist alley world. I have a few conventions coming up in the next few months and I'll probably post about them once they inch closer. School is finally out and I'd love to do some art! So I'm opening up a limited amount of slots (for now) to try and earn some money for supplies and fabric for future projects. (Also, please don't mind that most examples are critters - I am still very capable of drawing humans/furries but I tend to make finished pieces of critters more often.) Please note, I'm only opening one slot for the colored pencil type, it just takes so long.

Posted 12 years agoI just checked Matsuricon's page yesterday and I'm so angry at myself, I completely missed the window for applying for Artist Alley. And I mean, just missed it. I mean it was a freaking tiny 7-day long window in March but I'm still upset and I may still email them to see if I can apply but probably not. Aaaah.
So on a similar note if anyone has any conventions(anime, gaming, furry, fantasy, whatever, that sort of thing) in Ohio that you would like to recommend to me please do because I still plan on doing this thing. I just probably won't have access to a plane, so I'll need to drive wherever...hence the need for it to be closeby. The ones that I know of are

How do we feel about livestream commissions?

Since I obviously can't be trusted with regular commissions because I have a terrible procrastination problem. This is something that I've seen a couple of artists do and might work for me. You can see your commission come to life before your eyes, no waiting or anything!
Basically, I have a couple projects that I'm working on that require money, haha...and I enjoy livestreams. This kind of commission would be only if you're here(I'll give advance notice of course), pay on the spot commissions. You can watch me draw it so if you see something you want to be fixed or changed, you can go right ahead without a wait. (Of course you don't need to stay for the whole stream, haha, just enough so I know what you want).

So these would be experimental commissions, probably a lil bit cheaper than if I had hammered out the style...I haven't decided on any prices though, just seeing if people would be interested. Commission sale - badges and icons, limited slots!
Posted 13 years agoOkay, so this is something I've been wanting to do for a while - make badges and icons, that is. So to help build up some examples, I'm having a super cheap sale(prices range from $5 to $20). First come, first serve!

Shipping will be separate. The shipping info is in my commissions terms above. Though, these may fit in envelopes; if they do shipping will be free(if you don't mind not having a tracking number and just putting the badge in the envelope).
By badges, I mean conbadges. They will be laminated and have a hole for a clip, however, I do not currently have clips or strings, sorry! (If there is a large demand and if I do these in the future, I will definitely get strings and clips. ) Badges will be around 3inch x 6inch.
Everything is in USD, payment is PayPal only.
Okay, so the kinds of badges I'll be accepting(2 slots for each). Fullbody is full price, headshots/busts are half the price:
