Hey everyone, I need to make an important announcement regarding my current projects and commitments.

I recently realized - and want to openly acknowledge - that I have seriously neglected and forgotten a commissioner,  Keinok82562, who ordered two large storiesv(12k words each) from me years ago. This was duringbthe time, i lost my mother, but this is still completely on me. There’s no excuse for letting him slip through the cracks, and I want to be transparent: Keinok has been more patient than anyone should ever be expected to be.

Because of this, I am shifting my priorities to finally get Keinok’s stories finished as soon as possible. That means:

~~~The Midnight Chapel is being set aside for now. It’s not going away permanently - just moving to the back burner while I focus on overdue work.

~~~I will be dedicating the majority of my writing time to completing these old commissions.

~~~In addition, I’ll be keeping up with my new story commissions and the ongoing series for my subscription sites.

I’m genuinely sorry for dropping the ball. I’m committed to making this right and giving Keinok’s stories the attention they deserve. Thank you all for understanding and for your patience while I fix this mistake of mine.

Well, this batch of Macho Men adopts didn’t really gain the traction I hoped for - and that’s okay. Not everything creative hits the mark, and I’m trying to look at this whole experience as part of the creative process rather than a full failure.

There is always more to learn & ways to get better.

I still really like the designs I came up with, so I won’t be letting them go to waste. I’m planning to either flesh them out with their own stories or weave them into my existing series. Sometimes, characters need the right context to shine. These guys still have potential - just not as adoptables.

Creating characters is something I love doing, and despite the lack of interest this time, it hasn’t discouraged me. If anything, it's a learning experience. I might try again down the line with a new batch, once I’ve had time to reflect on what didn’t quite land this time around.

It might have been the designs themselves, the way I presented them, or just bad timing on my part. If you have any constructive feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m always looking to grow and improve, and an outside perspective could help me see things I might have missed.

I never knew Dragoneer personally, nor have I had the opportunity to talk to him during the years I’ve been on FA. From my perspective, it couldn’t have been easy or cheap maintaining and managing this site for us. There has been ups and down during his leadership, but one thing was clear… he gave us a place to call home. He made this corner of the internet a place where we could share our art and ideas and create found families of furry friends.

I hope that this site continues on, and we as the furry community can acknowledge that Dragoneer gave us a home here.

Yesterday was my mom’s birthday… she would’ve been 67. In a way I’m glad I wasn’t there to see her in the hospital or watch her passing, because I can remember her laughing and telling dirty jokes, call8ng people idiots for doing dumb things, and cursing at the games she played on her phone. I sp3nt the day yesterday switching between playing distracting games of Overwatch 2 and crying my eyes out, she was such a funny woman, warm and kind, and happy even with the struggles that life put her through. I got her sense of humor and laugh at my own misfortunes… I also got her asthma and allergy to cats, but I also also got the ability to snap my fingers which my twin brother can’t do. Then again,he got the ability to do the Vulcan “Live Long and Prosper” thing, which I can’t do. My mom was able to do both.

My older brother has started the process of getting her cremated as she was claustrophobic and couldn’t stand the idea of getting buried. So, she’ll be home soon after a service for her friends that will be held this Saturday. I still am not able to write anything just yet, but I’m considering opening up for small shirt story comms in order to have money fi4 bills or other expenses. My older brother is moving back in to help with thise, but he doesn’t make enough to support them three of us. I’m also looking into remote jobs that can help with expenses, but it see,s like I’ll need my own cell phone, which I’ll need to figure out how to get as well. I would only need one capable of calls or texting, so 8m hoping I can find a reliable cheap one somewhere.

I appreciate each and everyone who sent their condolences and sympathies and good vibes. They really do help me and my brothers.

It didn't take long when they stopped the ventilator fit my mom’s body to give out on her. My brothers and I all agree that it was her body that gave up and not her. I have no idea what the future will home, but it'll be a future less bright with my mom innit making her crude and sarcastic jokes.

I will miss her eternally and will have to learn to live with out her. But I can't be selfish... She isn't in pain anymore and I’m hoping wherever she is... she's with her dad and mom (my grandparents).

Thank you for all the well wishes and good vibes you've sent already. I'm in shock and numb right now, but my brothers and I will start the grieving process tonight and start the journey forward tomorrow.

My mom is still on the ventilator, but it’s the only thing keeping her going. My brothers and I have made the decision to take her off the ventilator and see what happens. The years of smoking, her COPD, and her age make this a very hard fight for her. Of course I want her to live as long as possible, but she’s also been through so much pain and anguish in her life.

I don’t know what my future will look like now, but I will take it one day at a time. I probably won’t be around for a bit though, I need time to grieve and heal. My mom like,y won’t recover from what I hear, but I’m still holding hope she’ll be okay.

I love you all. And please for me, be kind to each other.

My mom took a turn for the worse last night and apparently her carbon dioxide rose quickly during the night. The doctors say that her recovery is in her own hands now as they have done all they can do. My mom is a fighter by nature, but her body has been through hell already. So, it up in the aur right now and I’m scared as hell that she won’t be coming home.

I don’t know what I’ll do if that happens, I can’t stop crying right now, but I’ve got to hope for the best. That’s all I can do right no.

My mom is still on the ventilator, but her nurses were able to turn down the settings and she stayed at 93-94% blood oxygen. It’s a small step, but it’s in the right direction, which is good.

However, my stepdad is back in the hospital because he was sweating and had chest pains. I hope he and my mom will both be okay.

Please keeping sending all the positive vibes you can spare.

So, my mom’s still on the ventilator but her blood oxygen got up to 92%. The doctors say that the fluid filling her lungs must just be from how weak her lungs got from her years of smoking and her COPD. But she’s alert and getting the fluids drained.

So, now it’s basically up to my mom. I believe in her wholeheartedly, but there’s still a dark cloud of worry in my mind and heart. She’s 60+ and has been fighting so long. She’s not one to give up and I don’t think she’ll quit, so unless something unexpected happens, I’m optimistic she’ll be okay. It’s just a matter of how much longer she’ll be in the hospital at this point.

My mom has been moved to the ICU and has been put on a ventilator. She has COPD from 40+ years of smoking, but she quit over a decade ago (not sure of the exact number). Her blood oxygen wasn't getting above 80% and she has fluid filling her lungs that they can't figure out where it's coming from.

I'm very scared of losing my mother. I don't know what will happen if she doesn't get better. Please, send her all the positive vibes you can.

My stepdad is home resting he has a stint in his heart now, but is otherwise okay. My mom is still in the hospital, though. The last I heard she's doing okay but they're concerned about her ability to keep her blood oxygen up, I think. Hopefully she can come home soon.

As more news comes out about much Blizzard screwed up the development of Overwatch throughout the years, it infuriates me to know that all the content that was promised to us for Overwatch 1 & 2 we already had in Battleborn!
