Since I am writing multiple commissions as well as my own story projects, it can/will take time before your specific story comm is done based on the size of your commission. HOUSE REPAIR UPDATE:
I hope you all are doing well today! I just wanted to update you all about what’s going on at my house… and my future commission plans.

The guys arrived on Monday and cleaned out all the moldy insulation from under the house and plugged up the hole. Tuesday and Wednesday they actually began fixing the floor… putting in more struts and sub-flooring. They tested it with one of the guys jumping on the repaired floor and it held nicely. I'm not sure what else they have to do, but the estimated they’ll be here through the week, maybe into the weekend too.

So, with all that said, I want to thank everyone that donated to me for the Emergency Story Comms. I’ve written some super fun stories as a result of that and your support helped me take care of my family while we found these guys that are fixing the house. Ive picked a good direction that I like for my superhero character and the universe he occupies. I’ve written a the first chapter for a series regarding this character and I will be writing more. The character in question is my Komodo dragon superhero named Kick Viper. He is capable of shifting the mass of object he’s touching or himself and works as a stripper in his father’s strip club.

Im excited to finally have a good footing into the plot that I want to tell. And I hope that anyone who joins my Patreon to read the first part of the series will stay fir future parts s well.

A cleaning team has been drafted to clear the black mold from the house which is good. and apparently they can do this work without me, my twin, and my mom having to leave the house, which would’ve been an ordeal for several reasons. So that is excellent news for my family.

I’m still not sure about actually fixing the hole in the floor in the dining room or the joists under the dining room floor. However, the biggest concern was getting the mold cleaned up which is finally happening. So, the long progress is of repairing the house is moving in the right direction.

I know it’s been WAY too long since I’ve said anything after posting the first part of Simba’s Pride posted in September of 2018. I do feel bad about it taking so long, but it is a LOT of work and I’ve had distractions (both past and recent) that interrupted my working on the series. I have gotten comments and notes asking if I’m still working on the series and I’ve had to tell all who ask that I am still working on it, though because of the paid commission work and other things going on in my life, the series takes a back seat sometimes.

But over the years I’ve added to the second part and a little over halfway done with it at around 15,000 words. I’ve had to change a bit of the story to fit into the world that the first series built and I have new challenges to navigate with the rest of Simba’s Pride, but I assure you all that I am working as diligently as I can on it. Creating new characters, new conflicts, and merging my new creations with familiar characters and conflicts to create a new storyline.

That being said, I’ve been considering opening up donations for this series that would help me justifying putting this project on the front burner. I’ve also been considering putting up previews onto my Patreon page as a way to keep interest going. So, I’m just in a place where I’m considering my options, as I want to find a balance between the amount of work I put into my writing and the compensation I get out of it. I know that might sound greedy to some, but I’ve written so many long series with no pay and it… just sucks not feeling like I’m valued at what I’m worth.

So, in conclusion, I love writing erotic stories for you all to read, but I also want to be compensated fairly for the time and effort I put into said erotica. So, if anyone has any suggestions for me to pursue that would be fair to me and the people who are still very much wanting this series to finish, please let me know. My older brother was able to apply for a loan that will hopefully fully cover the repairs. On May 19 my right (dominant) elbow flared up with inflammation that made it very painful to move. This meant that I couldn’t write either. Ten days later and my elbow is fine but now my right hand has the same inflammation, meaning I still am not able to write. I’m so pissed. DX

Some of you know that I’ve been doing Emergency Story Commissions to help out my mom. Well, this weekend has both destroyed and strengthened my resolve to help my mom. So, here’s the update and the story so far.

On Friday my mom heard back from the insurance company about the claim on fixing our house. And from what I was told about the conversation, the insurance won’t cover the damage at all. This left my mom panicked and crying that Friday, so I chose to take the weekend off from my writing to give me time to think about how best to help her. I was doing these emergency story commissions as a way to cover any of the repair process that wasn’t going to be covered by the insurance company. Now knowing that we will have to pay the entire cost ourselves has me and my family stressed beyond all measure. We simply don’t have the finances we need to pay bills, utilities, living expenses AND this monumental repair cost. I’m also worried about the black mold continuing to grow and making it hard for my mother to breathe with her COPD. This doesn’t seem to be happening so far, but it’s growing concern of mine the longer the damage exists.

This has led me to my decision of keeping these emergency story commissions open for the foreseeable future. Though the term ‘emergency’ might be a bit misleading at that point. Any money I make from these story commissions will be used to either fill a savings account that I will keep safe to stockpile it for repairing the house that I live in with my mom and twin brother. Both my brother and I have keratoconus and cannot legally drive and are unemployed. My twin brother is the main caretaker and handles a majority of the household chores while I spend most of my time writing and making what money I can with these story commissions. Writing story commissions is the only way I know how to make any money at all that I can then use to take some of the financial burden off my mother, who doesn't work herself and uses the alimony she gets from my stepdad to support herself and me and my brother. All of that to say that I’m very reliant on these story commissions to help me and my family get by and hopefully one day soon fix the damage to my mom’s house.

HOUSE UPDATE
So, my mom had this guy come over to look at the damage and assess what could/should be done to her house. I wasn’t privy to the conversation until after the guy left. My brother was the one that spoke with him mostly.

But apparently the ducts that circulate the air into the house vents from the AC unit have condensation on them and that moisture was absorbed by some insulation under the dining room that touched the duct. The insulation carried that moisture up into the floor and that’s what caused the damage to the floor. The floor is still damaged and has to be fixed, of course, so it’ll still cost a lot of money to do that. All of the air ducts have the same condensation, but none of the other insulation has touched the ducts thankfully. So, the damage is somewhat localized in the dining room which no one really uses. It was recommended that a layer of plastic be laid down over the foundation of our house as well as placing dehumidifiers under the house too. This will hopefully protect the foundation from eroding as well as manage the condensation problem. The ducts would still have the condensation whether we ran the fan or heat, so thankfully we can keep the air conditioner going so at least we won’t be sweltering during this time.

That being said, I am eternally grateful to everyone who has donated and/or bought some emergency story comms from me. I can’t thank you for that kindness enough, there aren’t enough words to convey how blessed I feel. I will be continuing to do these emergency story comms for the foreseeable future in order to build up enough money to help pay for the repairs. BAD NEWS:

It turns out the AC that’s running in the house I live in is causing enough condensation to grow black mold under the dining room floor. At a guess, it’ll cost around $15,000 to fix and we won’t be able to run the AC at all until it’s fixed. My mom does get alimony, but it’s mostly enough to get us afloat from the bills the rest being used for food and other living expenses.

I’m also looking into any kind of disability and assisted income I can find to put myself on as I can’t get a driver’s license let alone a job. I do get money from doing story commissions, which I will be trying to ramp up so I can help my mom save up money. I need to manage my time and health better in order to accomplish this, but I have to help anyway I can. That being said, any assistance anyone can and is willing to offer me and my family will be appreciated.

It’s my birthday today and while it’s just another day to me, I am celebrating it by working on my current story commissions. These super short stories have been really fun for me to write. And I do hope to get November filled up so I can create even more fun stories for you all to read. I’m also hoping I can make enough to get a new tablet as the one I’m using is starting to show its age. And since i literally live on and make money with my tablet, I absolutely need one.

Im also officially announcing that I plan to do these super short stories for the foreseeable future with different themes every month. So, Spook-tober and Hypno-vember will stay as themes, but I’ll be making my own list of prompts for next year. I’ve got a list for the theme I have planned for December, which I’ll be revealing later in November, so please stay tuned for that one.

Also, today is my 8th Anniversary with and I couldn’t be happier! He is truly the love of my life and everyday I’m with him I feel my love for him grow stronger. Happy Halloween everyone! Stay safe and have lots of spooky fun!

These fun Spook-tober writing prompts are still going strong! ^__^

Each prompt is $10 for each one you might claim. There is a limit of three characters per prompt with each one receiving either an active or passive role in the story. Active meaning they are the one acting on the other characters, while passive means the characters are acted upon.

Hello all. I hope you’re all doing well in your lives.

I’ve decided to test a new writing schedule that I’ll be using for all of this month. It should help me be more active and productive while also giving me the freedom to work on what story idea I’m feeling that day. I’ve been trying to focus on one idea at a time and it’s proven to be very challenging for me. My mind just bounces around too much from idea to idea with my artistic moods fluctuating as well, creating a mental environment too unstable to keep my focus trained on any one idea. I’m hoping that this new highly flexible writing schedule will result in increased productivity and will let me post more awesome stories that you all like and enjoy reading and rereading.

On my remake of The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. I realize that I've already taken so much time with it. But I want you all to understand that it is a huge project and I've got a lot of moving parts for the story and things to include, alter, or take out with still maintaining the integrity of the story as a whole. I've also got health issues and things to my life to take care of and can't work on this story 24/7. So, I can't say for certain when the next part will be done. That's the bad news.

The good news is that, I'm in a place right now where I'm able to work on my writing in longer sessions than I've been able to these pasts few months. So, I'll be working on TLK2 much more frequently now. That being said, I've still got story commissions to do and since those are paid work, I'll obviously be prioritizing them.
