I'm still struggling with carpal tunnel, it's limited me a lot this year. I participated on Art Fight, I got a good handful works done but also flared my hand badly and is still affecting even after a month. But slowly getting better from that! It's just something I have had to learn to deal with in daily for several years now.
So what you'll expect is art work drops! I do want to post 2023, 2024 and now 2025 Art Fight stuff.
Might open couple slow commission slots if there is any interest, we'll see!!

General | Posted a year agoIt's been a while! This is a tiny life update I guess?
My 2 year max cap on the workshop programs ended and I started internship at January which will be 6 month long contract. Energy level going in is still the same, I get exhausted still easily and health is going up and down.
But the work place is so nice and up my ally, it's like a local social center with different aged groups attending and just chill vibes!
I get to do social media posters and post them, helped on media & movie making with disabled young adults, and currently I'm making an actual **fursuit** for the center to be their mascot and for the media school, I'm so excited!! Even the contract ends in couple months I'll get to do voluntary work and I live close by so it's very neat.
I'm also regularly still streaming on Twitch gaming, it has kept me active even if my health is low!
I have been checking on here at FA occasionally, and all the commission slots are still open from last journal* if you are interested! I have constant financial struggle as I don't get salary (only gov support which goes only to rent and living pretty much) so if you wanna help, that's great way to support!
And yes, I still have left to partially refund from the animation YCH a long while ago and my health declined so I never couldn't finish colouring it, so we got into 50% solution with refunding. I have been refunding it back slowly but this year has been very tough, so any new commissions* will go towards paying rest of the amount! And after that, rest for food and bills.
I finished one sketch on 2024 as well aa couple messy doodle pages, I'll get to posting those. See you soon!

General | Posted 2 years agoThings are slowly starting to get rolling! Animation YCH is uploaded now and got another one pretty much ready, just waiting for response. Also, I 100% forgot to upload 2022 Art Fight works so now all of them are out! I'll upload 2023 AF works another day so I won't clog the submission box for people LMAO
Small life update
General | Posted 2 years agoI did plan to stream and get with commissions (one literally needs only finishing touches) but I got very sick after my last journal. On top of migraine, that has been going on for weeks now, I got bad stomach bug and it's forcing me to rest.
IRL stuff is a bit messy with routine. In my program to get more active steadily and slowly the days increased by one and the days switched around and it took a huge toll on my already confusing mental health (I don't like talk about it too much); routine is basically in shambles rn. Partly because of being sick constantly. The sickness partly being caused by the IRL stuff and changes. I'm just very tired lmao I wanna laugh it off but it's serious thing in the end but I'll deal with it, it's okay.
I wanna get the queue cleared up but drawing is the last thing I'm capable to do, I'm pretty ashamed about being too weak to hold a pen and control it. I'm just hoping for more of those sudden days when I can do drawing sessions more often. Doing my very best to make those happen!

I haven't drawn for weeks and the roughly 45 minutes long stream (got flat colour done for YCH) got my arm very hurt from that. Gonna hope that I can catch up with the commissions!!
The golf elbow issues are still very much there, nothing really helps than just keep using the arm but taking care of it with proper stretching, rest & work balance, and sometimes needing hot/cold compress, and compress gloves. But I'm doing my best! Very upsetting stuff but I'm keeping my head as high as I can not give up :D

General | Posted 3 years agoIt's my birthday today! I'm now 28 and don't feel like it, barely holding on how to live by myself lmao But yeah!!
There has not been Picarto streams for couple/few weeks, I got very sick for couple weeks and when I got back I have been busy packing and cleaning. I'm moving this week Saturday and there's so much to do even after moving. Might be able to squish a short Picarto stream after moving but don't exactly know when I can do that!

General | Posted 3 years agoThe stream went so smoothly, I might have forgotten to take breaks on that 6 hours but I have got such nice progress with the animation!
The animation YCH's loop for the non-knotting scene is fully linearted and I have got some base colours done. Checking on how fluid it was for the last time I realized that there was whole ass half of the animation not linearted lmao So that'll be the next thing I'll tackle on it! Tune in on my next Picarto stream for that o/
Very thrilled that I can finally draw, just have to rememeber take breaks. I might not stream it 100% fully since I might be multitasking other stuff as well but I really enjoyed today's drawing session a lot. :D

I'm unbelievably upset now, I got no notification of the pen nibs not being able to be delivered and now I have to wait for the refund so I can try again. This is driving me insane, I just want to get back on drawing normally man :/ I have Samsung tablet where I can draw using ibisPaintX but there's no pen pressure and I hate drawing on a screen, it's not my way of doing art. Sigh, I guess we just have to wait longer, keeping you updated

I got help to cover almost half of the 30€ order and according to the estimated day of order arrival it should come December 14th! :D
I'm hoping to get most of the commissions done before the New Year! Animation might take a bit to polish as it needs still colouring and shading, and then editing solid loop afterwards.

General | Posted 3 years agoFriend of mine purchased the pen nibs for me and they are supposed to arrive 21st! So happy and relieved, I can continue on the commissions once I acquire them. While waiting I'm be able to do general colour base blocking for the animation frames with magic wand so I'll get that done since that can be done with mouse!

I got excited and started my stream just to realize that my drawing tablet's pencil tip is literally gone :I I don't know where the spare lids are, I have to either find my stylus holder where there is spares are inside of it or buy new ones- To be honest might have to get new ones because I haven't seen the holder since I moved in my old apartment I have been living here for over half a year now, man. I'll get the order up as soon as possible or try to buy locally!! (Man I'm bummed)

IRL I'm in government supported workshops and both days are very physical currently; one is a animation/animatic for a international project and one is actual workshop, for mainly sewing.
For past few days my arm has been flaring up with the pain and swelling again and I'm needing to take a step back and have to minimalize intense/long drawing sessions. On painless or less painful days I am able to do 15-30 minutes if it's going without massive problems but I don't exactly know if I'm able to draw during the current week now.
I have pretty recently given all my commissioners update from the progress, so we are doing well on that part. :) Just needing more chill time for rest of this month and probably bit after, time to get my bandages and brace out.
