Just some "Ace trash guy" who uses Linux, and is really into technology/computers but also loves art lmao 🖤️🩶️🤍️💜️
All in honesty, I don't have much time to draw, or do much anymore because of my personal life. I have this profile to keep in contact with artists I commission.
I'm way more active on my ToyHouse profile instead: https://toyhou.se/MrGreenThough i do need to update it, since a lot of it is still old 2020 code... ^^; --- This is where my characters reside. Shoutout to my friend computerwar for everything throughout the years and encouraging me to get set up on there! 🎉️
Here's some helpful tools I use when I draw or other daily computing tasks that could help you:
- XP Pen Artist 15.6 Tablet
- CRT monitor <--- I use this when making pixel art or for casual everyday use
- Krita
- ZFS
- Wireguard
- XNViewMP
- Media Player Classic Qute Theater (That's the Linux fork of MPC-HC on Windows)
- ffmpeg
- Ocenaudio/Audacity
- Handbrake
- libjxl, libopus, libvorbis, libav1 (I will "fight" you over these lmao)
- Jellyfin
- Immich
- qbittorrent-nox (24/7 seeding Linux ISOs for the rest of the Linux community to download whenever they want)
- LibreOffice
- Thorium Browser and Firefox, interchangeably... mainly since Firefox is stuck in the 2000s, and forces transcodes on my Jellyfin server if the bitstream is not H.264 + AAC... :\ Really Mozilla? Can we get on this?
- And of course, the Linux CLI

Tech woes (G)

I really cannot wait for the AI bubble to explode in the most violent way possible. I want to get some more storage for my own media server, but prices continue to rise. 🙃
Shame on Micron and Western Digital for pulling out of the consumer market.
