Hey everyone,

I've had a crazy last couple months. The end of the semester was pretty crazy with how busy I was. I lost my motivation to write at the beginning of November, and by the time the end of the semester rolled around, I didn't really have the time to work on my stories anyways. On a good note, I walked away from this semester with straight A's again, though it certainly was stressful.

I was really looking forward to winter break. "I'll have plenty of time to work on a whole bunch of stuff I've been wanting to do!" I thought. Of course, it didn't go so smoothly. I went to visit a furry friend of mine at the beginning of break and managed to catch strep throat while I was there. I started taking some antibiotics for it and returned home, and I was starting to feel better.

The holidays were pretty nice. We had some extended family here and I got a PS4, so yay! But soon after I finished the antibiotic I'd been on, my sore throat came back. We took me into the doctor to see what was up and they said I had developed an abscess on one of my tonsils. We got it punctured and drained, and now I'm on antibiotics again to make sure it heals properly.

So that's the long story of what all has been happening to me over the past couple months. The good news is that I've finished writing Chapter 4 of Perks of the Job. I still need to revise it and check for errors, but I should be posting it soon (hopefully later today). It got way bigger than I was expecting, and it's now the longest chapter I've written at 8,488 words and 17 pages (even surpassing PotJ Ch 2!). So prepare for a lot of gay sex! XD

I'm hoping to get into a good rhythm and keep things coming on a more regular basis. I managed to write over 50k words in 2016 (which is awesome to me), but I think I can do better than that this year. And as always, I'll try to be better about posting journals and the like to keep you guys in the loop. I'll be starting on Chapter 5 of Perks of the Job soon. It's been really fun writing this one, but it'll also be nice to move on to other settings and characters. I'll post a journal once Perks of the Job is close to wrapping up with more details on my plans for the future.
