It never fails to have something suddenly happen and then you fall off the rails you were on. Trying to get back into posting works again, trying to develop as a writer given my sister has gotten published and is soon to have a second published soon... But June... June hit me very hard... harder than I thought it would with the passing of my Father from his second bout with cancer... I had just recently posted Zoonautica to start a written series/art project to provide some illustrated art from Subnautica with badly badly drawn characters... or if I had a buck or two to commission an up and coming WildeHopps artist.

But my Father... really hit me very hard with his passing... mostly in the fact I was going to try and go see him the next day to give a goodbye... maybe hug him and kiss him...


I feel such a horridness welling up within me... but then he was hardly ay all in my life for 20+ years... grew up without that stalwart figure yet... I sit here crying and typing some damn lament of how I feel at fault for not trying to see him sooner...


My Father being Army in his younger life and me a child going base to base, states to foreign deployments... waiting in the wings of base facilities in his off times as he played D&D, MechWarrior, GURPS... And then he leaves our home... Me, my Mother, Brother and Sister without him...

Whether he understood my unique views or not *shrug* I at least bridged the peace my Brother and Sister finally came to grips with to forgive him and move on among the three of them... least that is what I hope... But... I need to build my bridge and try to get back to writing...
