I hope this New Year finds you well and that many good things will come your way on your journeys.

This past year has had it's ups and downs for all of us, I am no exception. Furry and the relevant art I create while being a part of this fandom is a cherished escape for me from the day to day grind. Looking at my gallery, it makes me a little sad that I haven't posted anything in over a year. Have I given up on making art? Have I lost my creative spark? That answer is a resounding NO. In fact, I actually make a point to draw atleast something almost daily, even if it's just small concepts and doodles in my sketchbooks. I am a perfectionist and that can be just as big of a hindrance as it is helpful. If something isn't to a state that I consider "finished" or to my own self imposed standards of quality, I tend to hide it away and not share it. I have quite literally a dozen sketchbooks filled with doodles and drawings I've done over the past few years, of which I can count on one hand the few that I have shown any of them to. I say all this for a couple reasons. Firstly, to inform any of you that are still sticking around that I am still here. Secondly is that it is the preface to a question I want to ask you guys.

Would you like to see some of my unpolished and even down-right ugly sketches from the innards of my sketchbooks? Would this be of interest to you, despite them not being polished and colored? Do you want to see how my ideas start before they are eventually presented to you as a finished fully rendered painting?

Now, with that out of the way, I also want to say that part of the reason for lack of recent uploads is I have been doing lots of studies to improve and reinforce my art skills. It will be an ever ongoing endeavour for me, but I have been focusing on practice more-so than finishing any personal projects.

I have a few personal pieces in the works now and am working on them as time allows. Hopefully one of them will be ready to post in a couple weeks. I also have some more ambitious projects in the works but are still in the concept stages and not fleshed out enough yet to embark on them in earnest. When they get off the ground I will let you guys know.

So, in conclusion, yes, I will be posting art again in 2025. For those of you still following me, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. For all of my more recent followers whom have started following me despite me not having posted anything in a long while, thank you too for doing so and trusting that I will show new art in the future.
