Connoisseur of cars, cuffs, and cuddly companions!
Hey there - name's Sharlow! I've been a furry since about 2010 or so. I'm mostly here to chill out, swap art, and meet people. I'm pretty into cars, gaming, and history! But also pretty keen in music, fiction, and tech too. I used to write a lot, but not so much anymore. I should get back around to doing that. And... uh... yeah... I'm pretty kinky too. What else can I say? :P
Sharlow - My current deer fursona. He is VERY personally important to me. Both encapsulates who I am, and who I want to be. Affable, sociable, confident, fit, and outgoing. His tattoo sleeve is of tangled branches, and I would LOVE to get that tattoo some day! Still trying to figure out how I make antlers work inside a car.
David - Old fursona - a german shepherd. Ignore the tail-wags when he says he doesn't like being called a twink. Unfortunately, I don't really use him much anymore. He's from when I was much more shy and reserved, and trying to figure out who I was and who I wanted to be. He's still definitely a good boy! Just... no longer a reflection of myself or my goals anymore.
General Attitude Disclaimer
I do my best to be friendly and empathetic, and I am always respectful when meeting somebody new! And yes, I understand it's awkward sometimes. I'll roll with it! However... after a long stint in retail - finally ending in the clusterfuck that was retail during COVID - I have just about zero tolerance for assholes anymore. My bullshit quota has been reached - life is too short to be in poor company.

'Sup fluffers, happy new year! I got a few things to talk about!
First off, I had been sitting on quite a few commissions that I hadn't uploaded to my gallery yet. Uploaded the majority of them last week. Thanks to everybody who commented and faved - make sure to check out all the original artists too! I still have a couple pieces of Sharlow left, but I also realized I had a lot of art of my old sheppie sona David. I'll start uploading them in the near future. Two caveats - one, I'll be uploading them to Scraps instead of my Gallery, since it's old art of a sona I no longer use. And two... well some of it is so old I'm not able to easily find/remember the artists who made some of them! I'll upload what I can, but I will only upload what I can credit properly.
There has been some slight tweaks to Sharlow's design. I'm kinda 50/50 on whether to keep his scars or not. I also started to want his fur to be a bit longer and scruffier instead of smooth and velvety. I'll probably flip-flop back and forth between these in the future.
A bit more importantly, I am fleshing out his backstory and lore a bit. I've decided on him being a mechanic that runs an independent shop focusing on classic cars, restorations & restomods, and modified modern cars. Need to get some more art of him in cars. Speaking of which...
Wooo, some changes here! First off, I no longer drive my 2010 Charger R/T. As much as I loved having a 370+hp V8 muscle car, it was getting up there in km's and I was worried about used car prices skyrocketing. So I went out in search of a newer model. However, I quickly found that for the same money I was able to get a more practical, comfortable, and faster car...
...a Kia Stinger GT! (For the unfamiliar, this was Kia's 360hp sports sedan that competed with the BMW M4 and Audi A5.) I have had it for a few months now and it's been brilliant. I love it! I do kinda miss the rumble of my Charger's V8, but man... the Stinger is just better is every other way. Faster, comfier, better cargo space, way better interior, better handling, and it's excellent in the snow with AWD. I still dream of owning a classic Charger someday, but I really am quite smitten with the Stinger!
When it comes to work, got some ups and downs. Due to some bad management and office politics shenanigans, I transferred to a different role in the company. Much more manual work. They thankfully kept me at the same hourly wage, but they didn't tell me was I going to end up with eight less hours per pay period. Not gonna lie, kinda miffed about that, and I am looking for new opportunities.
My side-gig at the race track, however, is going great! Made some good friends, and got a lot of compliments about my work ethic, sociability with clients, and attention to safety. Pay isn't anything to write home about, but the fact that I can list "Ferrari," "Aston Martin," "Lamborghini," and "McLaren" on my resume with references is pretty damn sweet! Hopefully I can parley that into a career in the auto industry.
Just wanted to end off by saying this community - and some close fur-friends - really helped my keep my sanity and motivation during some rough patches over the last couple years. I thank you all. Keep on being furry!
