For 3 years I've had a very weird and rocky ride here. I came here very confused with no idea what I was doing. I tried branching out here from DA hoping I'd be inspired or something, I don't remember really. I didn't know what to draw (the concept of 'draw what you want' hadn't really clicked in my head back then). I was obsessed with how many views or favourites my drawings got. "If my new stuff got less than the old stuff, that must mean I'm getting worse right?" That ludicrous mindset stuck with me for years. I'm not even THAT GOOD an artist yet I'd monitor the view count like my life depended on it. About a year ago I decided to completely abandon the idea of posting art here and boy am I happy I did. I needed to remove myself from this place to... grow up basically. My head was too backwards to really function - nevermind progress - here.

So, an update on myself. I have a job, I'm fairly happy in life and am just beginning to consider some life goals properly. I... admittedly am still not ready for this place. I have a few art-writing ideas that I don't dedicate enough time to. I hope to start drawing regularly again, though I've been saying that for 5 years now.

This account is... as a wise old skunk once said, dead weight. I don't plan to come back to this account. If/When I start drawing again, it'll be very different. I've actually got a drawing tablet now so it won't be a ridiculous task to get anything drawn like it used to be. If/When I come back, I'm going to start over completely. New name, new mindset, new look on life.
