I’ve updated my living situation, and I’ve moved out of my abusive parents’ places. If you want to know how bad it was, let it be known that I deceived them with a fake address to get them off my back. It was incredibly stressful to keep up the rouse, to anticipate their responses and become a very good liar. I was always on edge and was worried they’d find something to hold over me as leverage, as they always have and did.

Now that I’m on my own, my freedom has vastly increased but my disposable income has decreased. My serenity has improved a lot and I no longer feel the intense tenseness deep in my body, looking out for every next move of theirs. A worthwhile tradeoff, but nonetheless, I need money.
